Aspire Nautilus, bad taste even after changing heads.

Hi, i recently purchased an Aspire Nautilus. At first it was great tasted awesome, good vapor production, and hit nice. I received some vape mail from MBV, so i loaded up the naut with their extreme ice juice and immediately noticed a bad taste. Every few hits the juice tastes the way it should, very minty with a mouthwash like feeling. But more often than not its a bitter pungent menthol-less taste.

At first i thought it was the head, so i tried both the 2nd in box one and then one from a 5 pack i purchased. Same taste. I chalked it up to bad juice, but now the same taste accompanies ALL my juices. From several different vendors. Any help here would be great. Iv tried cleaning the tank, new juice, new heads, nothing works.

Sounds like you have a wicking problem. Not enough juice getting into the coils. Try closing down the airflow and lowering your voltage.

Could be a multitude of issues.

High voltage, high wattage.
Wicks aren't getting enough juice.
Airflow is too high
Coil isn't seated tightly
You can try saturating the coil with juice as well as the filler material, give it one to three quick pulse fires at a low voltage and let it sit In a full tank for five minutes.

Aspire has been known to send out horrible coils. If all else fails contact the vendor and they will replace them

Anyways I had a similar problem with both coils that came in the package

Today I went to the store and they changed the coil and got it to work.

There was a post going around last night saying that there was a bad batch of coils

Some batches have been bad. But that is more the case with the older bdc coils. I always let the sit a while even put a few drops in there before the first fire. I know congrevape had a issue didnt come from there did it.

Not sure who it was..anyways I give up on this tank, with a new coil it only lasted a day boohoo !! Thanks to everyone for the tips but this thing is making me crazy lol

Just watched a video on youtube of rip tripper rebuilding the coils of an Aspire and using a single coil of cotton instead of the stock doubles. Hopefully you saved your old coils and can use them again.

Also on the Apires, after cleaning them and filling them I found out to let them sit for a while before firing them up. But thats just what I was told, and it seems to work for me.
