Sorry if this has been covered already, but this site is huge and hard to navigate through Tapatalk. Anyway, I have diabetes and I'm wondering if there is any experience with other members with sweet juices and high blood sugar levels. Thanks in advance

None... Actually, my quarterly lab tests are better. BP is better. Life is much better since quitting smoking. All positive changes

Yup, all good, everything is better with me but i have to say i still would MUCH PREFER to eat the stuff than vape if i had a choice , God i miss chowing down on my favorite sweets lol.

Why? There are plenty of alternatives, especially since there are drink concentrates. I used to like Arizona Ice Tea, well, I just use the concentrate. Liquid refreshment, as a whole, has got much less sugary. Really where I have trouble is needing to eat on the run and thinking that bag of peanut M&Ms is okay.

My wife is a diabetic and after a year and a half of vaping and no tobacco the doctor took her off her metformin and lisinopril because her health has improved enough that she no longer needs them.
Thats exactly right, Soda , whether diet or regular will destroy your health . My Aunt can't stop drinking diet soda and her health went downhill , she can't even walk anymore , her kidneys give her major problems , major intestinal issues and excessive weight gain , she's bed ridden .
She was perfectly fine before she started drinking soda every day , she has to have a few big glasses , everyone has told her to stop including physicians .
No personal experience, but something to consider:

I've been diabetic for 3 years and had a heart attack at the age of 41. I'm in excellent physical condition and keep a moderate diet. These things happened to me for unknown reasons and I have always felt it was from stress. My PCP, Cardiologist, and Pulmonologist all support my vaping habit. Other than the small amounts of nicotine (which is a blood thinner), there is no conclusive evidence that I have yet to read that vaping is harmful.
My A1C dropped from mid 7's to high 5's (w/Metformin and diet) after several months of vaping. I am told that if I can manage to lose some weight, I may be able to go off the metformin entirely and give diet-only control a try.

Same here, my labs have actually improved since I quit smoking. All my juices/flavors have been sweet, no increase in sugar levels. Believe alot of juice/flavors use artificial sweetners.
I did not think any ejuices used real sugars.

I think what may become an issue is vapers who get dry mouth, who end up drinking a lot of cola or other sugary drinks...
Probably more like extra energy drinks with the new vapers...
Most Americans just don't know how bad drinking soda can be...
Dr was very happy with my last set of results. I do get dry mouth and constantly have a glass of ice water near me.
There is education coming out the wah-zoo. My doctor gave me pamphlets and websites galore. I am still below the insulin thresh-hold, but it is in the family. Maybe someone that is hard-headed...

I did forget to say that very early on, I worked through lunch and went to eat at about 2:30 and passed out at the wheel from low blood sugar. I am watchful now.
Dick Van Patten just died today. Leonard Nimoy died just a couple of months ago, both diabetics, both in their 80s. Good to be watchful though. My car was a total loss, but I was going less than 20mph.
Just have to be watchful. And eat ma' spinach and pass on the carbs.

I would still keep an eye on it...whatever that means in practice. I am grateful I didn't drive over someone, especially if I were exerting...I run out of my minimal sugar when working physically.
