FLORIDA - Reject the Joe Camel Protection Act!

Legislation known among advocates as “PMTA Registry Bills” are being promoted in Tallahassee by a major tobacco company. If enacted, this law would effectively make the state of Florida an enforcement arm of the Food and Drug Administration empowering state authorities to enforce the disastrous federal anti-vaping regulations. This would put hundreds of independent vape shops out of business, hundreds of workers out of jobs, and thousands of Floridians at risk of returning to smoking, or delaying attempts at quitting.

Funny how when all this started, BT was Ardently Against ANY form of Tobacco Regulation. Calling them Unamerican Government Overreach and threatening Legal Challenges left, right and center. Some even saying they could be Allies of those who Vaped.

Then in the middle (2020-ish), BT pulled back and presented that "Let's wait n' see" stance.

Now, with almost No Time left on the Clock and the Game seemingly out of reach, BT rises up again. Only this time they are in support of the FDA. And a Sox Puppet Funder of Dozens and Dozens of ANTZ Groups. Parroting that same Righteous Indignation we all have come to Know, Love and Expect.
