INNOKIN INNOBAR C1 AND AQUIOS PODS REVIEWED BY BIGBOB2322

Hello and welcome to todays review of the Innobar C1 device and 5 of the Aquios water based pods that was sent to me from Innokin. This is not a disposable system although the pods are after what Innokin says is 600 puffs. The Aquios pods are water based which is a first in the vaping word of vape systems. Innokin claims a full day of vaping with the 450mAh battery inside the Innobar C1 giving a constant power output of 3.6 volts. Lets check out so info prior to my review.

INNOKIN INNOBAR C1 PREFILLED E-LIQUID PODS​

Please note: Pods are 2 ml capacity, as per required TPD regulations.

The Innokin Innobar C1 Prefilled Pods are designed for use in the Innokin Innobar C1 pod starter kit, and contain 2 ml of 20 mg (2%) nicotine salt e-liquid, lasting up to 600 puffs.

The Innobar C1 prefilled e-liquid pods are a unique pod vape, equipped with a 1.1Ω Nichrome Mesh coil with an Aquios water-based e-liquid, delivering smooth vapor, faster satisfaction and unmatched flavor.

Supplied in packs containing 2 pods of the same flavor.

The Innobar C1 Pod delivers industry-leading performance and convenience, at a far lower price than disposable vape kits.

When the pod has been depleted, simply replace the pod, without disposing of the battery, which is fully rechargeable through a Type-C charging cable.

Performance​

The Innobar C1 prefilled e-liquid pod is equipped with an advanced 1.1Ω nichrome mesh coil, producing incredible flavor and vapor, while optimizing battery life and maximizing the time between charging the C1 battery device.

FIRST IMPRESSIONS

I had no idea that Innokin was sending a closed vape system to me and was surprised when I opened it. All the disposable devices I've tried in the past were OK at best so I didn't have a good feeling. I'm happy to report the Innobar C1 is a rechargeable device with a 450mAh internal battery and has a constant output of 3.6 volts, that alone is a big plus. Looking everything over I was eager to get started testing this new water based system out. Innokin sent 2 Innobar's and 5 different flavor pods, each box contained 2 individually wrapped pods. The 2 Innobar devices are also sealed in a wrapper.

Before using the device I wanted to charge it to it's full capacity, the USB-C charge port is located on the bottom and when a charge cord is plugged in a blue LED lights up the bottom portion as well as a small light. A charge cord does not come with the Innobar so you will need to use one of your own. A instruction pamphlet is provided.

As I stated earlier the 2ml pre-filled pods that come 2 per box are sealed and also have a frosted silicone cap on the bottom protecting the 2 contacts, there is also a silicone plug that is placed inside the mouthpiece sealing juice from evaporation, both need to be removed before using.

Unlike most pods that use magnet to connect to the battery the Aquios pods connect by way of tabs located on each side of the pods that inset into 2 recesses on the Innobar C1.

Inside the Innobar C1 are 3 airflow supply holes that produce a tight MTL vape, on the bottom of each pod is a single airflow hole. This 30% water based system really gives a true tight MTL vape.

This system is a featherweight and can be carried easily in a shirt pocket, also it's size fits good in the hand but be careful not to block the airflow supply hole on the bottom of the device.

FLAVORS SENT TO ME


* TANGERINE - MY FAVORITE

This has a very light cooling effect and is the lightest cooling effect of all the flavors sent. I don't like cooling in my vape but this one I actually enjoy with it. The flavor of tangerine is there and is very sweet and refreshing, I like this flavor for a late afternoon vape.

* PINK LEMONADE - 2ND FAVORITE

I was expecting a semi tart lemon taste when I tried this for the first time but didn't get any tart taste, this flavor is very sweet but light in a good way. Most disposable lemon flavored juice taste like lemon pledge furniture polish so it was nice to have a good tasting lemon with light cooling.

* SOUR BERRIES - 3RD FAVORITE

I didn't get any sour taste from this flavor but sweetness came through as all of these flavor have with cooling as well. There is a light sweet berry taste with cooling.

* STRAWBERRY WATERMELON

I'm not a fan of either strawberries or watermelon so it didn't come as a big surprise I didn't care for it, as with all the flavors this has a cooling ingredient in it also.

* ICED COSMIC

This flavor has the most cooling out of all the others, there is a flavor of some mix of fruit that I can't really identify with but it's not bad, if the coolness was less pronounced I think I might have put it in the 3 spot of my favorites of the 5 flavors sent to me.


FINAL IMPRESSIONS


I have to tell you that out of all the pre-filled disposable pod systems I've tried these are the best not only for flavor but because the cooling ingredient used is less pronounced as all others freeze my throat and end up giving me a headache.

The Innobar works very well at giving a true tight MTL vape and is the perfect size and weight for shirt pocket carry. Having constant output of 3.6 volts on a 450mAh internal battery should carry a vaper though the day always having the same vape although I didn't test it for that feature.

I will continue using most of the flavors until they are depleted of juice and will give the 2 other pods that weren't favorites of mine to a co-worker that like those flavors. I would like to thank Nicole and Innokin for sending the Innobar C1 and 5 Aquios pods for review.
