just got vamo v2 in..concerned

Hey folks i finally got my vamo v2 in today it looks and feels solid but i have a cancern.

I took off the battery tube and looked inside toward the positive connector. There is a red rubber washer that looks like it should be centered but it is glued far to one side leaving exposed metal on the inside of the tube.

Is this normal? I would hate for it to cause a short.. I can post pics later if my description is wonky.

I took mine off on the Vamo V3, if you are worried about it, pop it off, put some rubber cement on it and re-center it

That is EXACTLY what i was thinking about doing. No ill effects rocking you're v3 without the washer?
