Friday is my 45th birthday and I've been smoking for 30 years. I'm up to almost 2 packs a day of Marlboro lights. Tried the patches, they didn't help. I wound up smoking while wearing them. Welbutrin was bad, chantix too. I was one of those that reacted really badly. The gum just didn't do it. Going cold turkey was miserable. I've been smoking for 2/3 of my life and I'm tired of smelling like an ashtray! DH has been using dip for a few years after giving up cigs. He's in with me. He'd like to stop it too. He's had a tobacco habit since he was 9. This gives me an excuse to cut down on the Mt. Dew too. I'm a double addict! LOL

Recently, a friend showed me her e-cig. Since then, I've been researching like crazy. I will be ordering a kgo starter kit for each of us and a 510 for me to use at work. I guess I need that cig alike for security for a while and it is less obvious. I have no idea where to start with juice, especially for DH. I really considered the welcome kit from Johnson Creek just to help figure it out. I don't think I want a tobacco flavor, I'm tired of the smell. From there, I guess it's trial and error until we get the "just right" juice. We are about 30 minutes from Raleigh, NC so eventually I will be making a trip. Until then, I am REALLY GOOD at ordering online. (Local shopping is limited)

I'm really excited to get started. Tomorrow is payday and my income tax refund will be in. It's the perfect time to make an investment. BTW, a video by steeljan pushed me over the edge. She had a youtube vid about trying it out cheap. She made some great points and pushed me over the "well, wonder if that will work?" waffle and she kept me from going to the store and getting a Blu kit.

Oh, boy. I decided to say hello and wrote a book.
