Nautilus mini burnt taste strawberry cheesecake

Hi. I have a nautilus mini with bvc coils. They have worked fine with every other flavour I use and last about a week or more before needing to change. But For some reason with strawberry cheesecake from vapewild, after half an hour I start to get a burnt taste in the coil. The blend is 50/50 pg/vg. The taste completely turns me off smoking it but the flavour is the best flavour I've ever had. I've tried changing coils three times and cleaning out the nautilus again and again, no luck. What could be causing this? Any help is appreciated thank you

see if it does the same thing with a different vape setup.

What power level are you using?
Flavors will taste better or worse or burn at different v/w settings.
Sweet flavors tend to rapidly clog wicking material & gunk coils which leads to off odd funky or burnt tastes.

Hi I vape it at ten watts with 1.6 ohm coils. I figured that because it's such a sweet flavour it could be gunking up the coils really fast. It's a really good flavour but if I go through a coil every couple of hours it's not worth it I'll just have to find another flavour

You didn't mention what kind of power level you're using so I'll throw this out here: The really creamy and rich dessert-type juices don't like high power. It's kind of like trying to bake cookies with the oven set on 'broiler'.


Edit: I was typing slowly.
10 watts seems a bit high for that kind of juice. Maybe try 7 watts or so and see if it's better.
