Luckily I vape 0mg so I hope that I won't have these issues when I order from the U.S. However, I feel everyone's pain.
The problem with the **cough** rules, is there's that 4mg per dose limitation that is supposed to allow these shipments to go through. Yet CBSA and HC are more than happy to ignore that little part.
Got a letter today from CBSA. The order was from greenhouseone (China)
PRODUCT INFORMATION:
This shipment has been examined with the following results:
PRODUCT NAME:
Electronic Smoking Products containing Nicotine
Action: Recommended for Refusal
REASON
Food and Drug Regulations -- C.01.045
No person, other than one of the following, shall import a prescription drug: (a) a practitioner; (b) a drug manufacturer; (c) a wholesale druggist; (d) a pharmacist; or (e) a resident of a foreign country while a visitor in Canada
The funny thing is this was a re-send by the vendor as the first parcel got lost. Also is nicotine really a prescription drug? Anyway, what's lost is lost. Need to order some juice soon, this time from Canada, 2-3 times the cost, I guess...
Reading this with interest, as am visiting Canada next month, flying inti Vancouver from UK, and wondering if I'll be okay to bring my tanks and e-juice (18mg nic) with me. Does (e) above mean that it should be okay?
CBSA just seized my shipment from USA.... 1 liter 100mg
i hate them so much.... i'm only try to survive

I wonder if they would have seized the shipment if the volume had not been so "industrial" in size?
Update: My package finally made it back to Mt Baker Vapor. Happy to say that I drove across the border, and picked up the package myself without incident.
