I'm thankful for safe travels even in the bad weather. I'm thankful for those drivers that slow down and take it easy on the roads when they get slick, and I'm thankful for the emergency crews that help out those drivers that can't quite handle one day of snow ;-)

Thanks SK for the contest and for being you!!! It reaffirms my belief that people are generally kind, loving and giving when I see the things you and other ECF Members do to help fellow Vapers! This contest has been so inspirational and I for one would like to see a permanent thread like "SK's Daily Thanks" so that Members can go there to give thanks or just read some uplifting and moving thanks posted by others. I was thinking there was one more day for entries so I was saving this one for last, so here it is.......

Today I am thankful for School Bus Drivers. Think about it. We trust them with our most prized possessions, and they seldom fail us. And when accidents are reported, its usually someone else's fault... except those mail boxes...

I am thankful that so far, I have not seen nor gotten any bites from the fleas that the stray cat I kept in the laundry room had. Not that they are easy to see.
I didn't see any on it when I petted it but according to a message from the shelter, it was flea infested. 8-o
Poor cat.

Now that the contest is over. I want to say thanks for letting me share. Everyday I find something to be thankful for. It makes life a lot easier for me. Being able to share this week has really made me fill good . Also reading other thoughts was a joy .

I'd like to reciprocate the suggestion of a thread continuing elsewhere for daily thanks ... it would be nice to have a place to post things as they come up through the year, and a place to go to when you need to see encouraging words.
I am thankful today the invention of the smart phone, although sometimes I feel it might be a bit smarter than me, it certainly is a wonderful product.

Now keep in mind that these are only the names of the FINALISTS!! The order has nothing to do with what gift they will be receiving yet. That will be determined later by putting the names in a "Hat", which is another Random Generator, along with the prizes (in a separate list) and then the two lists of results will be matched together to find out who will receive what... Kind of like a Secret Santa!!!
I was lucky that no duplicate names were drawn, and just wanted to let everyone know that I DID NOT bother to check to see if you only posted once each day... or if each post was different... those Rules were mainly meant to discourage people from abusing the Challenge. You were all on the Honor system here!!
I have seen too much in-fighting over Contests lately, and people even complaining that the "Prizes" were not adequate enough in another one!! That is NOT what this Community is all about, so I will have none of that here!! It only spoils the fun for everyone else...
