You dropped the ball on some of this. There is a large amount of research on using nicotine without the smoke. There are at least 150 studies out of Sweden that show long term use of nicotine does little harm. The long term use of snus has been shown to decrease life expectancy by a few weeks as opposed to ten years with smoking. The evidence is really overwhelming. In order to find the evidence you have to look at the research on smokeless tobacco and there is plenty of it.

The other point is that you consistently have stated is that tobacco is the problem. It's not. You have fallen for the decades long propaganda that all tobacco products are equally harmful when the evidence is overwhelming that smoking is the problem, not tobacco. Modern smokeless tobacco, and that includes not just snus but US made smokeless, has the same low risk as electronic cigarettes. You may want to talk to people like Carl Phillips and Bill Godshall on what the science really is.
