Ok thanks for the help. So the main concern with coil resistance and batteries is for unregulated mods. Glad to hear that 3000mAh can be used as it will give me more vape time. I do have one mech mod, what would you recommend for that if I'm building the same range of .20 ohm to .60 ohm builds?

Run the ohm's law equation. If you're drawing less than 20A or so I recommend the same batteries as I did before.

I haven't tested them yet but they appear to be a standard 10A-12A battery with not very high capacity.

Hey Mooch,
When are you putting out another (updated) version of your battery poster?
When I go looking for batteries, that's what I use for my #1 reference.
Thanks mate

This recommended batteries table?
It doesn't change until I find other batteries to recommend. :)

Until then this is the latest, up-to-date version.

I saw RIP Trippers throws away his batteries after 3 months and buys new ones.
Does anyone else throw away their batteries after 3-6 months? I've been using some VTC5s for a couple of years! Is that safe?

Yes.
If they're not getting hotter during use then keep using them until they're too frustrating to use anymore due to reduced performance.

Hey mooch real quick question I have been using the lg hg batteries since I've started vaping and 3 mods later just wanted to make sure there still good to use I have them on the wismec 200s a kangertech dripbox and a alien 220 all stay around 60-50 watts just wanted to make sure it was safe to use around that wattage everything has been fine but just wanted to hear your opinion

I don't know the condition of your batteries but assuming they have been well cared for you can use them up to about 75W each. What is making you worried about them now if they have been working well, without issues?

Mooch, I have always used AW batteries from RTD but now have regulated mods that the wife uses. What should I get her for 10to 15 watts? Also I use an old REO grand & mini is the newer AW 2200 mah the best for my 1.2 to 1.5 builds?

Thanks in Advance,
Louis

At 15W or 1.2 ohms in a mech the NCR18650GA's are your best choice with VTC6's, 30Q's, or HG2's being a good second choice. But if you need button top batteries they might be hard to find in a button top version. Try www.imrbatteries.com

Thanks as I was wondering which would be best for my REO's. Can use the flat tops just have to push down a little more on the firing button. Thanks Again, Louis

Check my blog for my 20700 ratings table and my test report for that battery.
