Over the past few weeks, I’ve done quite a bit of testing to understand why some coils burn out fast while others last for weeks. I discovered the key lies not in the wattage alone, but in watt density — the amount of power applied per unit surface area of the coil.

What Is Watt Density?​

Watt Density = Power (W) / Coil Surface Area

Higher watt density = hotter coil = faster cotton degradation and coil gunk.Lower watt density = cooler, cleaner burn = longer coil life.

Factors That Improve Coil Longevity:​

1. Larger Coil Surface Area - Use thicker wires (26–28 AWG) - Increase coil diameter (2.5–3mm)
2. Lower Wattage - Stay within 10–20W if you're MTL - Avoid overpowering small coils
3. High-Quality Wicking - Make sure cotton is saturated - Never fire on dry cotton
4. Juice Matters - Avoid sugary/dark liquids if coil life is your goal

Would it be accurate to say that most of the industry is beginning to lean toward the newer 21700 and away from 18650?

Very slightly used and original with the COA. The wife was going through some stuff in storage getting ready for a yard sale and found it in an old box I had.

Ive maybe used it 3 times while I've had it.

Tell me if I am wrong in doing the math:
So the nicotine boosters that we buy have 20 milligrams for every milliliter of liquid
in which they are diluted and therefore if math is not an opinion
each booster has 10ml and therefore 10 x5 = 50 milligrams of nicotine inside.
I found on sale and also without much difficulty
pure nicotine (C10 H14 N2) at about 300 euros for 100 milliliters of 99% pure nicotine
The problem now is to see these milliliters of nicotine how many milligrams contain?
And here we just need to find the specific weight (weight of the unit of volume)
of nicotine which Google's AI easily revealed to me is 1.01 grams per milliliter
For ease of calculation let's consider 99% purity in 100% and that 1.01 in 1.00.
So if 1 milliliter weighs 1 gram, 100 milliliters will weigh 100 grams.
But we need milligrams and not grams, so
100 grams of nicotine results in 100,000 milligrams.
Going back to the argument that math is not an opinion
and that in a nicotine booster there are 50 milligrams of nicotine
with that 300 € we buy 100,000 milligrams of nicotine
we can get by dividing by 50 milligrams contained in a 10 milliliter booster
(100,000 : 50) exactly the amount of nicotine contained in 2000 nicotine boosters!!!!
I guess I have also seen on sale 5ml of the same 99% pure nicotine
for 50€ and in this case dividing it by 20 (100ml to 5ml)
there would be nicotine equal to that contained in 100 10 ml boosters
(2000 : 20 = 100).
Still talking about costs, considering that 2 liters of PG and VG (1l pg + 1l vg)
me being the last wheel of the wagon paid them about 25€,
10ml of pg/vg 50%/50% would cost me 0.125€, while for nicotine
300€ divided by 2000 boosters I would pay for the nicotine of one booster
about 0.15€.
If we add to this the price of an empty 10ml bottle at about 0.15€,
it would come to a total of 0.425€, However, this last count,
leaves time to be found because these are prices of a consumer,
while at the industrial level prices drop at least 10 times if not more.
Let me know first if you think the counts are accurate
and secondly a judgment on how much markup
the booster manufacturers take and tax the states/nations that take advantage of them.

Let's start by talking about the shape of the Dead Rabbit Mini. As you can see, it's a really small atomizer, though with the beauty ring, it looks absolutely stunning on most single-battery devices. The airflow intake has an insert that makes it very, very aesthetically pleasing.

As you can see, the airflow intake consists of four simple holes, on both this side and the other. Adjustment is done by simply twisting the atomizer's cap. When it's completely closed, a single hole remains open on both sides. It's a very simple but very effective adjustment. I have to say that it filters the air very, very well, and with all the holes open, it provides a perfect RDL vape. In addition, it can be very, very restricted when closing the airflow, which can be perfect for someone who loves an MTL vape.

As you can see, the drip tip is a 510 (more focused on RDL and MTL) and comes with two included in the box: one resin and the one you see in the photo. Both feel very good on the lips and are very comfortable since they are so small.

To disassemble it is really simple. You just pull the cap upwards, and it comes off like butter, especially if it's been used before or if you've already taken a few puffs, thanks to the e-liquid's lubrication. The same goes for the drip tip; you just pull it straight up, and it comes off without much effort.

Here, I'll show you the building deck. As you can see, it has four screws. To install your coil, simply unscrew the two screws that are diagonally opposite each other. Once you've trimmed the coil to Hellvape's recommended length (5mm in this case), you place it in the holes and then tighten the screws little by little. (I tighten them slowly and alternate sides to avoid deforming the coil too much.)

It's a very, very small building deck, but it has plenty of space to work with. I don't know the exact diameter of this coil, but I think you could put a slightly larger one in if needed.

From this picture, you can see the airflow intake. It should hit the coil directly to get the best flavor.

After inserting the cotton into the coil (remember, it shouldn't be too tight or too loose—it should offer some resistance when you pull it from the side but without moving or deforming the coil), you should tuck the ends into the bay designed for it. This is where the liquid you drip or squonk will be stored.

The assembly and setup are incredibly simple, which is why I fell in love with single coils. It's so quick and easy to change the cotton whenever you need or want to.

This is the threading part of the atomizer. I'm showing it to you because it might be interesting for those who use a BF pin, because yes, it comes with a BF pin. I personally don't use a BF pin, but it was tested for this review, and I have to say it works wonderfully. The liquid reaches the ends of the cotton perfectly and is supplied to the center of the coil.

I just got one of these so I could have a Refillable Vape to use for some Herbal E-Liquids I am making from Imphepho, Yerba Lena Yesca and Mucuna Pruriens.

I’ve been Using Disposables like Geekbar, Fogger and Subox. I would say this is Shaped more like a Geekbar, but it’s Smaller, it is a Pod System kind of like Fogger but the Pods are Smaller, and it has Airflow like the Subox which I liked in the Subox because it allows You to get a bigger more Cloudier hit. It also came with 2 Pods, which is Legit because I was thinking about Ordering more Pods so I could have at Least 1 for Nicotine and 1 for the Herbal Vape Oil, and now I might not have to Order anything else.

I was Reading up on it while I waited for it in the Mail, and it says it is a “Restricted Direct-to-Lung” (RDL) Vape, and when I looked that up it says there are 2 Other Type, which is Direct-to-Lung and Mouth-to-Lung, and the RDLs are like in between the 2.

I got 2 Flavors to go with it and I have a Third, I already have some Kiwi Strawberry from Juice Head, and I just got some Lemon Waffers from Cookie King and Peach Pear Juice Head Oil both in the Mail with the Vape.

I just got the Vape like 30 Minutes Ago, but so Far it Hits Good and there aren’t any Problems with it or anything. It did say the Battery lasts 4 Days but it Drained 10% in 30 Minutes, so I’ll post an Update about that when it gets to 0% or Close to 0.

I have looked into 1 Herbal Vape, for unrelated Reasons, one Time, and I found this Vape Brand Called Hyla, and they make like L-Dopa Vapes with Mucuna Pruriens and Caffeine (from Guarana or something), and I found that to be Interesting and I have a Bag of Mucuna Pruriens so I was thinking of making some Vape Oil with that also. But, so, I know there are Herbal Non-Nicotine Vapes being made.

I will Figure this out Myself if No One can Help, but I just wanted to see if I could get some Advice on making a Vape Oil for Ukuphahla Purposes.

But it seems that not a lot of People have been making Herbal Vape Oil/E-Liquid. Someone suggested that People who make NETs could Answer the Questions I have, and I didn't even know what an NET was before they mentioned it to me, but it seems that here on the Forums there is a whole Section just for that:

And what they seems to be doing is something with PG or VG or VG/PG Mixtures, and something to do with Alcohol. So that kind of Answers my Question, but I want to do some Tests. I have Quite a bit of Herbal Materials, 8oz of Imphepho, 8oz of Yerba Lena Yesca, and about 500g of Mucuna Pruriens Extract Powder, so I can Test some Things out. I have about 4oz of 60/40 VG/PG, which isn't a whole lot, but I can Test out a few Things with it. Plus I have a Still type Device, so I can make Hydrosols and maybe some Essential Oils.

So I am going to See what Happens with:

Steeping Herbs in VG/PG at Room Temp
Steeping Herbs in VG/PG and using a Double Boiler (and I might Try Putting the Herbs and Oil in a Mason Jar and Boiling the Mason Jar)
Steeping Herbs in Water
Steeping Herbs in Alcohol
Making a Water Distillation Product (Hydrosols, etc)
Making an Alcohol Distillation Product (I will also Test out Fractional Distillation with the Water and Alcohol Products)
Rosin Tek (Using a Hair Straightener)

Basically most of it will Involve just making a kind of Tea and Straining the Material Through a Cheese Cloth, French Press, or Coffee Filter. Then the Others will be Distillation and Rosin Tek. I'm just going to Test it all and see how it Works. All of these will Involve Mixing it into VG/PG, but I may have to get more VG/PG to do all of these Tests.

The Main Goal is to Create some Imphepho Oil for Ukuphahla. I am also making Soap and Candles, but the Vape Oil will be another Addition so that I can Completely Immerse myself in Ukuphahla. So Basically this is kind of Religious Endeavor.

If anyone has made Herbal Vape Oil before I would be Interested in Hearing about the Process that You Used. I have seen One Product on the Market from a Company Called Hyla, which is an L-DOPA and Caffeine Vape, so I know that Mucuna Pruriens can be Used, and Really Everything should be able to go into a Vape. I have heard that there are Other Herbal Vapes, I just don't know of any Other Brand Names or Anything like that. The Process should Basically be the same as Making a Cannabis Vape, as that is a kind of Herbal Vape, but most Cannabis Vapes in this Day-in-Age are Distillate Based, but I have Read about Using Rosin to make a Vape as well. So there should be Multiple Routes to Creating a Successful Vape. This is also Similar to Basically like Extracting Terpenes, and then Adding Terpenes to Vape Oil, which is done in Every Cannabis Vape. So a lot of this is already being done in some Form or Fashion, and I am Sure there are Threads somewhere on this Website about this. I just thought I would make this Thread and Document Everything that I am going to do, for the Benefit of Other People who may be Trying this in the Future; and to Start a Discussion where People can Comment about what they have done, so that we can have Information about this in a Thread if there are not already a bunch of Threads about this.
