Thoth B, Kumiho continues to progress. Refill is secured by a silicone plug with the possibility of using chubby bottles with large caps without issues. Usual locking and reading system with gold-plated pins and magnets that grip the Thoth B body. As always, the entire Thoth line shares the same pod and cartridge format, so there is no need to buy different pods.



Several variants of both cartridges (like the one in the photo) and empty pods with interchangeable coils are available on HealthCabin, along with various colors. In the photos, I included a second cartridge only to show both sides simultaneously, but I reiterate that the package includes only one.

In terms of flavor, the 0.6 ohm is the one I have tested the most since it is provided in every package. With (as will be seen) the airflow wide open, it is a good pod for a light RDL, and I always suggest using it at the minimum recommended wattage since it already works perfectly and rarely gives dry hits even with rapid successive puffs.



On the side, the fire button and, as per Kumiho tradition, it is the only one present on the Thoth B, allowing you to adjust watts and fire, with the constant possibility of using auto-draw, especially if you are left-handed. It is slightly recessed into the frame, making it difficult to press accidentally when pulling the Kumiho out of your pocket.



On the opposite side, the airflow adjuster which, combined with a careful choice of the resistance value of your pod, allows for anything from an MTL draw to a light RDL with the airflow wide open. Like all other Thoth models, the adjuster is quite stiff, making it difficult to move accidentally during use.



On the back, there seems to be a second screen, but it is just a small LED that lights up, and the vibration sensor (should) be placed under the body, which activates, for example, when a Thoth Pod is inserted or when turned on.



The base is flat and wide enough to stand the Thoth B upright. On one of the sides, the USB Type-C port supports 1.5 A charging. A full charge takes about an hour.



The front side is covered by the large 1.44-inch screen, truly sharp and bright, superior to those of many much larger box mods. I should specify that although it looks like one, it is not a touch screen; everything is managed via the side button.



The menu remains faithful to all the screened Kumiho devices I have tested. It is managed with the classic 5 clicks, allowing you to switch between powering on, resetting the puff counter, and locking the fire button. Adjusting the output is unlocked with 3 clicks, while 2 clicks cycle through three output profiles: Super, Normal, and Eco. Essentially, three different boost curves to customize the coil's punch. Output up to 35 watts.

On the safety side, the circuit is complete: cutoff set at 8 seconds and total protection against shorts, overcharge protection during charging, and short circuit protection in case of incorrect resistance readings.



Kumiho, a brand I have followed since 2024, continues its work without leaving those who supported them behind, keeping the same coils on the market always available and offering a great choice between various models. This is an 18650 box mod kit (Coolfire Z80) paired with a strictly MTL - tight RDL atomizer (Zenith II) utilizing the Z Coils that Innokin still produces and remain easily available due to high demand. Kit provided free of charge by HealthCabin for review purposes; no compensation or business relationship involved.



The package is generous with accessories alongside the two main protagonists: the Coolfire Z80 and Zenith II. Included are a second sealed drip tip, a set of O-rings, two Z Coils (0.3 and 0.8 ohm), a USB Type-C cable, a replacement glass tank, a user manual, and a warranty card.



Innokin Zenith II, constructed from 304 stainless steel, measuring 51.7 x 26 mm with a 5 ml capacity. Standard 510 connection for any drip tip. No screw-off top cap; instead, a twist-to-fill system reveals the silicone seal, compatible even with wide-nozzle chubby bottles.



The "exploded view" shows the top cap/refill section with the 5.5 ml glass installed, which fits into the central block with the steel cage to protect the pyrex and house the Z Coils. Finally, the threaded base plate keeps everything secured.



The airflow ring is positioned at the bottom. As is often the case, I find bottom-airflow tanks like the Zenith II more aromatically satisfying than top-airflow versions, offering a draw that feels much closer to an RTA.
Z Coil installation remains simple and immediate, with the coil base serving as the contact pin. Coils must be inserted by aligning them with the notches in the housing. Always check for the black O-ring near the bottom threading of the coil; it acts as both an insulator and a seal for the Zenith II.



Z Coils continue to be produced years after their release. All are made of Kanthal and compatible with most tanks in this line:

Despite the 0.3Ω option, the Zenith is structurally much closer to a pure MTL tank. The 0.8Ω coil gives a great impression of what it can offer in MTL mode, outperforming competitors and even top-airflow Zeniths like the NEX. Flavor on the Zenith II is significantly more defined and full-bodied despite its age.



Coolfire Z80, given the scarcity of 18650 boxes on the market, it’s best to play it safe with a mod that offers minimal dimensions (83.5 x 38 x 28 mm) and a solid zinc alloy build.



The 510 threading is well-executed, with a notch on the plate to prevent atomizers from sitting completely flush, allowing those that take air from the pin to be mounted without issues. It accommodates atomizers up to Ø 26 mm without any overhang.



The steel battery cap for the single 18650 has the positive pole facing up and a flip-handle to assist unscrewing. There are 4 venting holes provided for safety, but be careful when placing it on wet surfaces.



My unit (Black) features a faux-leather wrap with a great hand-feel and a slight rough texture for better grip. For other colors, it's closer to standard fabric. The front face houses the fire button, accented in gold/orange. The color screen is a Ø 0.96 inch display with good visibility.



A hallmark of this circuit is the Refresh mode, a coil "cleaning" feature using frequencies to prevent gunk buildup, ensuring the coil wears out evenly. It actually works, especially visible when using drippers or RTAs.
The Coolfire stays in a permanent standby state; pressing the fire button once wakes the screen with a prompt that 3 clicks are required to turn it on.

It's increasingly rare to see MTL kits with removable batteries. OXVA XLIM PRO 2 DNA versus OXVA XLIM PRO 2 is where I’m at now. Only 1 of them or both might replace my XROS 5 & 3 system (yes I use both, alternate between the 2. XROS 5 on Simple Essentials deluxe tobacco, and XROS 3 on Vapouriz classic tobacco, though sometimes swap the pods. Or use both at the same time for that hit feel!).

I have Aspires, the newest ones, pro and unpro coming tomorrow though.

(And I have Innokin Sceptre, Innokin MTL, Endura T18 II, Voopoo - the latest one, Geekvape Digi Q Pod System or whatever it’s called, G3 Pro KOKO, also have Nevoks Feelin AX)

Difference between XLIM PRO 2 and XLIM PRO 2 DNA Version

My true go-to’s and primary uses are XROS 5 first, then XROS 3. Can live on both. The rest, as I said, unused. [p.s. XROS Pro 2 is a no no!! It was made for wine tasters. That’s not me. I want my hit and it works consistently all the time. But I’m not averse to discovering, playing about with wattage on a standard provided pod and my 2 main juices to find my greatest/best kick, hence the OXVA XLIM PRO 2 DNA versus OXVA XLIM PRO 2)

Hello and welcome back for another review. Today I will be taking a look at the Lost Vape Centaurus N100 Kit that was sent to me by Sourcemore in order to provide you with a fair and honest review. The N100 can use a single 21700 battery or an 18650 with the included battery adapter for a maximum output of 100 watts while using the Quest 2.0 chipset. It has translucent side panels that can be swapped out and has the 4 in 1 jog dial interface that I’ve seen on other mods from them. It is button activated and is lighted. Included in the kit is the Centaurus Sub Ohm Tank which has a 5ml capacity while making use of the UB Max series of coils.

INITIAL THOUGHTS:

The packaging for the N100 kit is much like you would expect from Lost Vape. The front of the outer sleeve has a nice color picture of the mod and tank contained inside. In the background is a large 100 indicating that the Centaurus N100 is a mod with a maximum of 100 watts of output. The back of the sleeve has a contents list, company information, a QR code, and a bar code with the color name of the device. As you can see, I received the Grey Rock version for my review.

Once the outer sleeve is removed and the top of the box is removed, the mod and tank are exposed but both are wrapped to protect them during shipping. Underneath the insert holding the mod and tank, there is a spare glass, two coils, a USB-C charging cable, and user manual. The two coils included are rated at .2 and .3 ohm.

The two sides of the mod look almost identical besides the fact that one side has the Lost Vape name and the other has the Centaurus name. Both have the Centaurus symbol in the center of the panels. Both panels are removable and can be swapped or panels from other colors of mods can be used. When the mod is first opened, there is an 18650 battery adapter found inside the battery compartment. I personally prefer to use a 21700 with this mod since the option is available. There is a ribbon in the battery compartment to assist with battery removal. The inside of the battery compartment is clearly marked with + and – symbols.

The front of the mod has their trademark 3 in 1 jog dial switch at the top of the face. The outer ring turns to move between selections or adjusts the wattage. The center of the button is pushed to make a selection. Below that is the display screen followed by the on/off switch and the USB-C port. The display screen has a battery level indicator as well as a battery percentage, Lost Vape name, set wattage, mode of operation, coil resistance, output voltage, time of last puff, and puff counter. It is pretty clear in the close up picture below but the font is so small on the bottom of the display that I personally can’t see the numbers without magnification. The N100 is a wattage only mod and is fairly simple to operate. The on/off switch turns the mod on when pushed to the right. There are only two modes of operation which are Normal and DIY. The wattage adjustment increment is 1 watt when adjusting 5-39 watts and is 2 watts when 40-98 watts. The button is backlit like other Lost Vape mods I’ve tested but I honestly pay no attention since I can simply look at the screen and check the battery percentage. Three presses of the fire button will lock the wattage adjustment so you don’t have to worry about accidentally turning the wheel. Five presses of the fire button switches the modes between Normal and DIY. To reset the puff counter, have the mod off and press the fire button while sliding the power switch to the on position.

The N100 kit comes with the Centaurus Sub Ohm tank. I am pretty sure that this tank has been around for a while and believe that I have reviewed it before. Like any other new tank, I disassembled it as far as I could and gave it a warm soapy bath to get rid of any residue that might remain from manufacturing. Initially I couldn’t get the glass off but after soaking it, I was able to remove it. It is a top airflow tank. The Centaurus symbol is on the chamber and the Lost Vape name is on the airflow ring. The top cap has an internal o ring to help the drip tip stay in place securely. The top cap makes use of the standard quarter turn for removal and has a blue o ring underneath to seal the tank from leaking. There are two fairly large fill ports. The bottom of the tank has the name printed on it. The coils included are the X2 which is .2 ohms and the X3 which is .3 ohms. The X2 is rated for 60-80 watts which is higher than I normally vape and the X3 is rated for 40-60 watts which is right in my comfort zone. The UB Max coils are a little different looking with the dual o rings. The rated wattage is etched onto each coil.

Hey everyone, I’ve been vaping on and off for a while and I need some advice.

I’ve had a GeekVape L200 (Aegis Legend 2) for over a year now. I stopped vaping for about 4 months because it got expensive with cigarettes too, but now I’m back on a budget so I started vaping again since it’s cheaper.

For batteries I’ve been using some cells that say “FIRE HAZARD! NOT FOR VAPE! NEVER INSTALL, CARRY OR HANDLE!” — I actually just saw the text and I also bought them from a local vape shop. So far I haven't had a problem with the batteries.

For coils I’ve been running dual Z coils 0.25Ω at 47–55W, also from the local shop. They don’t last me long — usually less than 700–800 puffs before taste gets bad. The shop guy told me they’re best for flavour but I’m not sure.

***Review***

I received this tank and a box of the new V coils as well as a box of the Valyrian 3 coils on Thursday and have been using it ever since. I have a couple of issues with it however. Chief among them is that the spring seems to be a little wobbly. Not too much that it'll break if you look at it wrong, but if you drop the tank while the top is open, good luck cause it'll possibly break. Another gripe is that the tank protector comes preinstalled on the spare glass and does ***NOT*** seem to be removable, thus if you want to protect the glass, you've gotta use the spare glass as I don't think it fits the larger preinstalled glass. And finally my last gripe is the drip tip. The included tip ***is your only option*** as it's not quite an 810, but not a 510 either so you can't use any spare tips you have laying around which is kind of odd. The performance and function of the tank, in my opinion far outshine the negatives of the tank. The preinstalled.18ohm V-Coil is probably the single best coil I've ever used. The clouds are phenomenal, taste is that of an RDA, and it's not thirsty for being such a big tank with a big coil. Am I not happy with the fact it's a twist to remove coil? Yes, but the coil flavor makes up for that. Honestly, the thing never leaks, deapite being a bottom AFC tank. It also never has condensation build up on the bottom either which is also awesome. Honestly, I prefer the V-COIL over the Valyrian 3 coils as the flavor and clouds are more muted in the Valyrian 3 coils vs the new V-Coil. Overall i give this tank a 8/10.

***Verdict***

I'm honestly surprised at how well this tank functions despite its few drawbacks. It's beautful and it works better than intended. It's on par or better than an RDA imo.
