Hello and welcome back for yet another review. This time I will be taking a look at the Vaporesso Gen SE kit that was sent to me by Sourcemore in order to provide you with a fair and honest review. The kit comes with the Gen SE mod which makes use of an external 18650 battery and has a .96” TFT display. It makes use of the Axon chip to provide a 5-80 watt output range. Also included in the kit is the iTank T Tank which has a standard liquid capacity of 3ml but can be increased to 6ml with the included spare glass. It uses COREX 2.0 technology while using the same GTi coils that were used in previous versions of the iTank.

INITIAL THOUGHTS:

The packaging for the Gen SE is what I have come to expect from Vaporesso products. I have been a longtime fan of Vaporesso products like the Xros line of products and the iTank along with the GTi coils that I use daily. The front of the box has a black background with the Vaporesso logo in green. There is a nice color picture of the actual device contained inside. The back side of the box has a list of specifications along with a contents list and company information.







Once the outer cover is slid off then the Gen SE mod can be seen with a clear plastic wrap around it, the iTank T with .2 ohm GTi coil pre-installed, spare .4 ohm GTi coil, spare bubble glass(6ml), USB-C charging cable, and user manual. There are also some spare seals included which are tucked into the spare glass.




The Gen SE mod makes use of a single external 18650 battery. I was curious as to why it wasn’t made to take a 21700 battery until I actually received it and saw that it was much smaller than I expected. The panel on one side is removed to load the battery. The panel is held on with very strong magnets and there is no movement once it is installed. The battery polarity is clearly marked and there is a battery warning on the back side of the panel.

For some reason the pictures I took make the mod look much lighter in color than it actually is. It is a very nice dark blue. One side of the mod has the Vaporesso logo etched on it while the other side has the actual Vaporesso name etched on it. This is a really sharp looking mod.










The 510 plate is centered in the top of the mod and is held in place by three torx head screws. The 510 center pin is plated and spring loaded.

The bottom of the mod has the company and product name printed on it and is secured by two black torx screws. There is a cut out on the bottom that can be seen in the picture which is where you can get a fingernail inserted to remove the side cover to install the battery.





The front of the mod has a large round fire button on top followed by the vibrant display, adjustment buttons, lock switch, and USB-C charging port. The display shows the following information.

• Battery level indicator
• Lock/ unlock symbol
• Mode of operation
• Set wattage
• Coil resistance
• Puff counter
• Theme display( 3 options)

The button/ menu operation is as follows.

• Press the fire button 5X to turn the device on/off
• Press the fire button 3X to enter the menu where you can choose from F(t), Pulse, Eco, VV, Themes(3 available), Setting, Smart, and Puffs.

The Veepon Tita was, and still is to some extent, one of the smallest single 18650 based boro devices on the market. The Tita X2 however takes the original and manages to make it just that little bit smaller while moving it over to a DNA based board.

These tests below only note my personal opinion for the ESTIMATED ratings for the batteries I tested at the time I tested them. Any battery that is not a genuine Samsung, Sony, Murata, LG, Panasonic, Molicel, EVE, Lishen, BAK, or Sanyo can change at any time! This can be one of the hazards of using “rewrapped” or batteries from other manufacturers so carefully research any battery you are considering using before purchasing.

Misusing or mishandling lithium-ion batteries can pose a SERIOUS RISK of property damage, personal injury, or even death. Never use them outside of a fully protected battery pack and you use them at your own risk. Never exceed the battery’s true continuous discharge rating (CDR), never let it get colder than 0°C or hotter than 60°C, and keep the plastic wrap and top insulating ring in perfect condition. Never use a battery that is physically damaged in any way.

Testing batteries at their limits is dangerous and should never be attempted by anyone who has not thoroughly studied the dangers involved, understands the risks, has the proper equipment, and takes all appropriate safety precautions.

If the battery has only one current rating number, or if it only says "max", then I have to assume the battery is rated at that current level for any type of discharge, including continuous.




Test Results
A decent performer, it’s best at around 5A and lower due to voltage sag (like many other high-capacity cells). Other cells perform a little better (check my Ratings & Performance table, link below) but EVE cells are often available at a lower price so they are worth considering if the last bit of performance isn’t the priority.

My thoughts and results below…

• The 50E has a 15A max continuous current rating in the datasheet but it easily exceeds its 60°C max temp limit at 15A so I am giving it an estimated 10A continuous rating and a 15A non-continuous “temperature-limited” rating. You can run it at 15A but never let the cell get hotter than 60°C.
• DC IR measured 21.1mOhms and 21.3mOhms for two cells. This is fantastic consistency.
• Capacities were 5055mAh and 5056mAh, which is amazing consistency and is above the cell’s 5000mAh rating.
• The standard charge rating is 1A and fast charging is only 2.5A. I recommend staying at 1A or lower for long cell life.
• It has a decent cycle life spec, delivering at least 1000 cycles before dropping to 70% of its original capacity. But this assumes that the discharge stops at 3.0V, not 2.5V. These “narrow” voltage windows for the high capacity cell cycle life specs are common and vary a lot so be sure to carefully read the datasheet before comparing the claimed cycle life of different cells.

This time, I'm testing Unicorn Vape's own brand products, which are the result of a kind of collaboration, as other manufacturers are often involved in the making. In this case, the company behind it is Jin and Juice. The "Ramisu" is made for fans of dessert flavours, which are made up of biscuit, coffee, creamy layer and cocoa powder. It is inspired by the well-known tiramisu dessert, but here biscuits have been used instead of the traditional baby biscuits, according to the description.
The scent really brings the tiramisu dessert to life for me. The first sensation I experience is the characteristic aroma of cocoa powder, followed by the soft and sweet cream cheese. This combination is rich and inviting, suggesting a kind of creamy sweetness. Finally, the subtle scent of coffee rounds off the overall impression, giving a slight but distinct character to the aroma that perfectly echoes the layers of the dessert.
Flavours. The biscuit base predominates, followed delicately by a creamy layer that is slightly sweet and sprinkled with cocoa. This is followed by a soft coffee flavour, not of the "chewy" variety, but harmoniously intertwined with the creamy part. On the exhale, the cocoa flavour comes to the fore slightly, which balances the sweetness of the dessert nicely. The effect is indeed as if the top of the cake had been liberally sprinkled with cocoa powder. The proportions are perfectly balanced, with all the ingredients coming through nicely. As a result, it's safe to say that this taste experience almost visually evokes the alluring sight of tiramisu .
Verdict: True, I don't understand what the "mouse" is doing on the sticker on the bottle, I hope it has no connection to the flavouring it contains, but for my part it delivered all the key flavours of tiramisu while steaming. And as for the price: it's on sale for just €4.90, which in my opinion could be a real gift for any dessert lover.

I just bought a Voopoo Argus G2 and I could not be more disappointed. The first thing I did with I received the Argus G2 was scratched off the QR code and scan it to make sure I received an authentic VooPoo product and not a counterfeit. I then filled the 0.4 pod with juice and it sat for about 45 minutes before I tried using it. I only vape CBD and THC so one of the juices I decided to go with was Maui Wowie from CBDfx. Maui Wowie is a 50pg/50vg mix with 2000mg CBD and 75mg THC. As I said I'm using the 0.4 tank that it comes with and I first tried it at 18w and I barely got any vapor production at all and what I did get was hot, tasted horrible and was harsh on my throat. The higher up in wattage I went the hotter and harsher it got, I did get a little more vapor the higher I went but it was nothing like I saw in the reviews on YouTube. Im probably not even getting 1/4th of the vapor I saw from the reviews videos. It's either too hot and misty with higher wattage used, or disturbing taste with lower wattage. I just don't know what I'm doing wrong or what the issue could be? I guess what I'm hoping to find are individuals who have owned and used the Argus G2 that maybe had the same experience and knows how to solve the issue.

I don't think you will be able to find a device on the market like Aegis Solo III 3 Mod that together with these features (IP68) manages to combine the same high qualities of manageability and compactness.

► GeekVape Aegis Solo III 3 Mod; How it is made:
Sourcemore sent me the "silver" color during this test, in reality the only truly "silver" part is the removable front panel which is screwed to the body via four torx screws. The frame in this version instead takes on a matte color that perfectly matches the rubber and silicone parts that concern the handle and the cap that protects the charging port. The couplings between the various materials have maintained the high quality of the previous Aegis, GeekVape's effort was to further improve the finishes and every small detail.



► GeekVape Aegis Solo III 3 Mod; Smart Touch:
The back (Handle) is soft to the touch and thanks to the texture with transverse lines it also provides an excellent grip with the hand. The rubberized cover hides a "Smart Touch" sensor underneath it that can be deactivated in the menu. This sensor allows you to automatically unlock the fire button when you hold the Mod, while it should automatically exclude the Fire button when you put the mod in your pocket or bag. Unfortunately, this function does not prevent accidental activations, in fact the sensor is not able to distinguish the touch of the hand from contact with other surfaces. In the menu you can activate or deactivate the "Smart Touch" function, or you can activate the function to lock the adjustment keys but without blocking the Fire button. So when you put the mod in your pocket or bag the only solution to avoid activations is to turn off the Mod. On the front starting from the top there is the Fire button, the 0.96" screen and the plus and minus adjustment buttons. All these buttons are well integrated into the line of the Mod, in particular the Fire button transmits an excellent feeling with the fingers. The 0.96" color TFT display with adjustable brightness allows easy reading of the main vaping data.



► GeekVape Aegis Solo III 3 Mod; Operating Guide:
The AS 4.0 circuit powered by an external 18650 cell has a power range from 5 to 100W with an increase/decrease of 1W per click. To turn the mod on/off you need to click the Fire button 5 times, while to enter the menu you only need to press the Fire button 3 times. There are different sections inside the menu. By entering "Mode" you can select different vaping modes;
• Power: Classic delivery mode
• Smart: the chipset automatically adjusts the power based on the coil reading
• Boosting: With this configuration the power delivery is greater than the classic delivery
• Memory: Allows you to configure up to 5 different delivery settings in memory
• Eco: The circuit delivers less power for energy saving
• TC/TCR: Temperature control functions

In addition, the following setting options are present:
• Lock Setting: Activation/deactivation of the Smart Touch function or locking/unlocking of the keys.
• Puff reset
• Color: Choice of display color from black-white to blue, orange, purple, pink
• Brightness: Adjusts the display lighting
• About: Installed circuit version + reset to return to factory data

My doctor topside dual, just randomly stopped working was working fine when I went to bed when I woke up it won’t fire says shorted with every atomizer. I took apart and cleaned all the juice out it changed it from saying shorted to low ohms .04 on everything. If anyone has a fix for this or has topside dual with a broken body but the chip and the piece the chip is hooked too are good please pm me. I have no other dual battery mod to use. Currently can’t afford to buy a new one.
