Hello Guys!
Welcome to my site, today I would like to introduce you the
Geekvape Digi Q Vista vape kit.
I am thankful to
SOURCEMORE for sending me this device for the purpose of this review.
The
Geekvape Digi Q Vista is available at their webshop with a 40% discount for an attractive price of 16.19$
Geekvape has also entered the disposable looking line with their new
Digi Q Vista and set the benchmark even higher in the game! It boosts an attractive curved 3D screen, auto-draw & fire button, 35 Watts max power, 1600 mAh battery, 3 power modes and adjustable wattage. What else can you wish for?
Color and design:
I received the device in Ocean Blue and there are a total of 8 colors available (Black, Gunmetal, Silver, Champagne Gold, White, Ocean Blue, Lavender Purple, Light Jade). The device has a professional looking pod-mod design and it feels more like you are holding a traditional battery mod in your hand with a pod on top: a hybrid of disposables and pod-mods. With its maximum output of 35 Watts, it also comes closer into the pod-mod range. It gives you a rich, powerful and warm hit and for that reason the device is more meant for RDL and even DL vaping enthusiasts, in my view, definitely with the 0.4-ohm coil. A new segment here as there are not too many RDL/DL disposables out there on the market! The device boosts a sparkling curved 3D color screen that wraps almost the whole front and the right side of the device. I love the pearl-like plate at the back, it infuses something classy to the overall design, reminding me of the classical mods. At the right side you can read out vertically all essential vaping information (battery status, wattage/resistance and selected mode). There are 3 power modes with different color schemes (ECO=green, SMART=blue and DYNAMIC=Red). This unique curved screen displays a flashing planet with sparkling stars in the universe (it’s a portal according to my wife). This fancy lightning animation lights on with every puff but can be deactivated luckily when the device is locked. The 3D graphical feeling is achieved by multiple IML film layers. At the bottom resides the USB-C charging port. At the left there is a firm airflow adjuster slide and at the right you have a responsive fire button and a lock button underneath. I would like to highlight that the fire button is positioned perfectly with a rounded edge on top, where your thumb can rest comfortably. The lock-button works well: it locks the fire button to prevent accidental firing yet the auto-draw still works. It won’t display the lightning animation when the a-lock is activated; you will just see the battery status, current mode and a small lock on the big display. By pressing the fire button 3 times you enter the wattage menu where you can switch between the power modes that are split into wattage ranges. The 0.6-ohm pod you can set into ECO mode 21-22W, SMART mode 23-29W and DYNAMIC mode 30W. The 0.8-ohm pod will be divided similarly between 12-18 Watts. The smart VPU recognises which pod you inserted and offers you the best wattage automatically. Pressing the fire button 5 times turns off/on the device.
Battery performance:
The device has a powerful 1600 mAh built in battery and supports 2A fast-charging; it charges in about an hour. I am using the device since 5 days and only topped it up now short for the shooting.
Size and weight:
H: 107.87mm, W: 43.9mm. Made of zinc alloy and IML film. It is on the heavier side due to the durable material that was used for the frame; the exact weight hasn’t been disclosed but I estimate it around 100 grams.
The device just feels right in your hand; it feels more expensive than what it is.
Pod:
The kit comes with two Geekvape Q pods with meshed coils inside: a 0.6-ohm and a 0.8-ohm, 3ml capacity. The pod connects firmly with two magnets, barely wiggles and you can hold the device by the pod itself, it won’t disconnect. Since I was looking for an RDL vape this time, I was very satisfied with the 0.6-ohm coil at 25-26 Watts. It produces smooth, very rich and flavorful vapor consistently. No leaks or condensation were detected. And a plus: the Q pods are cross-compatible between the Wenax Q, Wenax Ultra/Pro Q, Sonder Q and Hero Q devices!
I paired it with a 6mg Berry Mint traditional e-liquid that I vape frequently and I could taste a richer and more flavorful profile than I am used to with my other devices. Taste and vapor production is definitely a pro on this device.
Wattage ranges per pod:
Final verdict:
It is a very well made, professionally looking device with a unique curved 3D screen. Flashy animation and adjustable wattage modes, separate fire and lock buttons with a simple interface. It boosts a very flavorful and good hitting pod.
The only con I can mention is entering the wattage setting; you need to learn exactly how fast and how hard you are pressing that fire button in order to finally enter the menu. I would have loved to see touch buttons for increasing/decreasing wattage, like on the Digi Max - but that has a different price tag.
Hope you liked my review; would you have any advices or questions don’t hesitate to connect with me.
Happy vaping folks!
