Review

So I got the Bloody Mess color to put atop my Aegis T200 aka Aegis Touch, as it's blue and I figured it would look dope as hell, which it in fact does. I also tested it atop my Legend 2 and it is equally impressive looking. I was impressed by the build quality of this RDA and as it's my first RDA I figured I wanted something unique which this definitely fits the bill. I will say it oddly enough is hard to get the wicking right on. As in it is harder to wick than my Fat Rabbit 2, but when you get it down it's the flavor king so far in my experience. Clouds are the most impressive yet. It's nice not having a glass tank to worry about breaking when you drop it. It is a pain having to carry a bottle of juice with you but well worth it with it's flavor quality and build quality. I've been running this for about a week and a half and I can honestly say I'll be running it for the foreseeable future. I will tell you I used my own coils I bought off AliExpress instead of the included coils. My coils were. 13ohm in dual form and I run it anywhere from 99W to 110W.

Verdict

If you're looking for an RDA to start your DIY vaping journey, look no further than the Drop Dead V2. I rate this RDA a solid 9.5/10

I’ve only used it with the 510 connector, which has been stable in terms of resistance, so no problems with TC. It clicks firmly into place, so no problems with it coming off (unless you want to remove it). The pod has never been used, and includes two coils.

These tests below only note my personal opinion for the ESTIMATED ratings for the batteries I tested at the time I tested them. Any battery that is not a genuine Samsung, Sony, Murata, LG, Panasonic, Molicel, EVE, Lishen, BAK, or Sanyo can change at any time! This can be one of the hazards of using “rewrapped” or batteries from other manufacturers so carefully research any battery you are considering using before purchasing.

Misusing or mishandling lithium-ion batteries can pose a SERIOUS RISK of property damage, personal injury, or even death. Never use them outside of a fully protected battery pack and you use them at your own risk. Never exceed the battery’s true continuous discharge rating (CDR), never let it get colder than 0°C or hotter than 60°C, and keep the plastic wrap and top insulating ring in perfect condition. Never use a battery that is physically damaged in any way.

Testing batteries at their limits is dangerous and should never be attempted by anyone who has not thoroughly studied the dangers involved, understands the risks, has the proper equipment, and takes all appropriate safety precautions.

If the battery has only one current rating number, or if it only says "max", then I have to assume the battery is rated at that current level for any type of discharge, including continuous.




Test Results
This is a great performing cell. It is a little better than the Samsung 40T and essentially equal to the Molicel P42A. The Molicel P45B and P50B, EVE 40PL, Ampace JP40, and Samsung 50S perform better (by varying amounts) than this cell but they can be a lot more expensive.

My thoughts and results below…

• DC IR measured 11.2mOhms and 11.4mOhms for two cells. This is fantastic consistency.
• Capacities were 4166mAh and 4179mAh, which is great consistency and significantly above its 4000mAh “nominal” rating. This is what it should be though for a 4000mAh rated cell in my opinion.
• This is not a “tabless” construction super-cell like the EVE 40PL, JP40, and others. It’s a standard high performance power cell in the Samsung 40T/Molicel P42A class.
• The 40P datasheet lists a 35A continuous and 50A temperature-limited rating (with a recommended 75°C cutoff and max 80°C cutoff). You can run this cell at up to 50A but never let it go over 80°C!
• Since this cell reaches 80°C at about 30A in my testing I am giving it an estimated 30A true continuous current rating. This is lower than EVE’s 35A rating but they are close and the difference can easily be caused by the use of different equipment and criteria for setting the rating.
• Standard charge rating is 2A and maximum is 6A.
• This cell has the China Compulsory Certification (CCC) required logo and printing on the wrap (polarity, capacity, model number). This is something we will most likely see on all the cells we use (eventually).

Hello, trying to find a Glaz rta with all included parts. Can't find a website that carries it considering it's been out for so long. In 2019 I decided between it or the Damn Vape Diamond and chose the Diamond and have been stuck on it ever since. I'm getting a new stratum v6 dna60c which accepts 23mm tanks and the Glaz appeals to me more than something like the newer Dead Rabbit mtl rta, at least I think it does. Please if you have one lying around jet me know, or have any suggestions for 23mm Mtl rta that I'm not seeing let me know.
