Hello folks and welcome to my review of the latest member of the Drag family from Voopoo as of the date of this review called the Drag 6 with the updated Uforce-X Tank 2 that uses the PnP X Coils. The Drag 6 mod houses a 4400mAh rechargeable battery and has a maximum power output of 220 watts. The user gets 3 power modes including TC for those of you using temperature control. The Drag device has the locking/unlocking feature with different options to perform this task which is a nice bonus. Adjustments are performed using a precision control wheel that's built into the housing that actually improves the stunning appearance of the device.

Also included in the Drag 6 Kit is the new and improved Uforce-X Tank 2, the original was a performance proven tank. The Uforce X Tank 2 to me feels a bit shorter and has three airflow slots and a quarter turn top cap, plenty of airflow for a DL vape and can be closed down for a very tight RDL vape, there's a nice selection of PnP X coils to use in this tank. Voopoo calls the improvement to the airflow the golden triangle. It's nice to get a full size mod and tank combo to review for a change and I think you'll like it also.

I've been making my own eliq for years. Mostly unflavored, but sometimes a bit of flavoring added to small batches of the base eliq. Last week I was going to start making another base batch, but I ordered some Black Note eliq instead. Latvia, 18mg 50/50. I must say Sir Lancelot and I are happy campers!

These tests below only note my personal opinion for the ESTIMATED ratings for the batteries I tested at the time I tested them. Never exceed the battery’s true continuous discharge rating (CDR), never let it get colder than 0°C or hotter than 60°C to help lower the risks and extend cell life, and keep the plastic wrap and top insulating ring in perfect condition. Never use a battery that is physically damaged in any way.

Testing batteries at their limits is dangerous and should never be attempted by anyone who has not thoroughly studied the dangers involved, understands the risks, has the proper equipment, and takes all appropriate safety precautions.

If the battery has only one current rating, or if it only says "max", then I have to assume the battery is rated at that current level for any type of discharge, including continuous.




Test Results
This is a great performing and cool running cell, essentially equal to the EVE 30PL and Ampace JP30P1.

In testing the EVE 30PL performed a TINY bit better than the 30XG but that would be unnoticeable in use. The 30XG performed a TINY bit better than the JP30P1 but that difference would also be unnoticeable in my opinion.

If the tiniest bit of extra performance is critical in your application though then you’ll need to test all three cells to see which works best for you.

Pajda** is testing cycle life and that (along with cost) might end up being the way we choose the “best” of these three cells.

More info…

• The cells I tested were made in January 2026.
• There’s no CCC*** logo or CE mark so I am assuming these are pre-production samples unless Tenpower applied for, and received, an export-only exception from CCC testing.
• The 30XG reaches about 75°C at its 40A (down to 2.5V) continuous current rating so that rating seems reasonable. Its max rated cell temp is 80°C.
• There is no pulse/burst rating in the datasheet.
• 40A and 100A continuous current “shootouts” against other cells are available to my Patreon supporters (link below).
• There’s no standard charge rate in the datasheet. The max is 15A but that will definitely shorten the life of the cell if done often. I recommend staying below 3A to help extend cycle life.
• The minimum guaranteed cycle life rating at 6A/-30A (down to 2.5V) is >= 500 cycles for a drop to 60% of original capacity.
• The two cells I tested had a low DC IR (not AC IR!) of 5.92mOhms and 6.16mOhms, pretty consistent.
• The capacities were 3044mAh and 3020mAh, decent consistency and typical for China-manufactured cells. They both exceeded their 3000mAh nominal/typical rating.
• Notice that the (slightly) lower capacity cell was the one with the (slightly) higher DC IR. This is because the higher IR causes more voltage sag and that shortens the time the cell has until it reaches its low voltage cutoff (lowering the capacity it can deliver).
• Datasheet max weight is 48.0g. The heaviest of the cells I tested was 46.06g.
• Datasheet max size is 18.50mm dia x 65.30mm long. The largest I had was 18.38mm x 65.19mm.

***China Compulsory Certification, additional testing now required for all cells made or sold in China after August 1, 2024. The logo and certain information must be put on all cells once they are certified. This typically won’t be done by a manufacturer until the cell is ready to go into full production.
