This box started life as a 2020 RNB. It has received a full custom job from Elemental Cerakote, including the addition of a USB port for Escribe, which was done very nicely. Mod is gorgeous.

Also includes blue Cerakoted boro tank with DNV unbreakable glass, YEC panels and flush nut.

Chocolate Cookie Ice Cream Sandwich with Peanuts

FA Vanilla Cookie 1.5%
SSA Crumbly Cookie 1.5%
FA Cookie 0.8%
WF Ice Cream Dark Chocolate 2.5%
SSA Clotted Cream 1%
FLV Peanut Butter 0.6%

Optional: Sweetener to taste. Start low, as in 0.25% - 0.5%.

The FA VC, FA Cookie and SSA CC cookie base is one I've used before. Combined they make an awesome tasting cookie. It's a nice base that can be taken in many directions with nearly any flavors (fruits, coffee, nuts etc. etc.).

WF Ice Cream Dark Chocolate is an excellent flavor. In this recipe it pulls double duty as a fine ice cream and it changes the "blonde" cookie base into a chocolate cookie.

Clotted cream boosts the overall IC profile and adds a wonderful mouthfeel. It also helped in making the chocolate less "dark" leaning.

FLV Peanut Butter is an excellent, and very realistic, roasted peanut with a light salt note. It is not even close to what I would call a "true" peanut butter flavor.

It is just as tasty without FLV Peanut Butter. I originally mixed it without FLV PB, so I could get the other flavors set, then as was my plan, added the peanut butter.

I mixed two 10ml versions of this recipe. One minus sweetener. The other with 1 drop CAP Super Sweet. Both are flavorful. The one with CAP SS is a wee bit sweeter, but it's not something I would call a "sickly" sweet. It's just the right amount for my tastes.

This is a delicious tasting IC sandwich. You get the chocolate cookie profile out front, a very creamy ice cream in the middle and the peanut on the backside.

Note:

A "blond" cookie version (no chocolate) of this ice cream sandwich can easily be made with one or two subs. Pull WF Ice Cream Dark Chocolate, then sub 2.5% SSA Ice Cream or 2.5% SSA Ice Cream Vanilla. Or use them in combination, with one at 1.5% and the other at 1%. The SSA IC's make a more complete ice cream profile when combined.

I was never able to score the boro for it back in the day and I used to run the atmistique bridge in it. I have since lost the bridge and was wondering if there is any thing out there that will work in it specifically or if anyone on here has anything they would offer for sale? I don’t do FB btw….

So I've done this with just about every single tank I've ever owned that had a top fill. When I use the coil at first, it hits great, tastes great, and works as intended. Near the end of it's life however, I noticed something. I'll start getting those nasty burnt hits that tastes horrid and feels like you're inhaling a dumpster fire. I learned that if I open the top for a second and hit it again, it's back to normal with a great taste and a great hit. If I don't open the top again, the next hit is going to be that horrible hit again. Now this makes me wonder if there's a "fix" or "hack" to do to the coil or tank that would make this stop happening until the actual end of the coil's life. I can look down into the coil right now and see some of the mesh is a little darker in some places, but again, I'm looking down at an angle so I'm taking that with a grain of salt. I've used q-tips against the coils gently to see if I can get a little char or whatever off, but I can't really see that well since.. well, angle. This isn't a huge problem as I can just open the top and get a good hit for weeks, but I've been doing this for years and have never had anyone else tell me they've experienced the same thing. They tell me "coils die in a week, just replace them." Um.. mine last like a month lol. I'm don't vape lightly either. So I guess my question is: has anyone ever experienced this particular thing and what do you do about it to extend the life of the coil afterwards? I know the basics. Use light juice, not ultra sweet, use within watt limits, all that.

Vuse: I am a hopeless tobacco junkie, I don't like any flavor at all, except Golden Tabacco.

I have been smoking only 4 analogs a day for 7 days. I have tried all Vuse flavors and only like golden tabaccoo. Everything else doesn't taste good to me at all. I don't like all the fruit flavors at all, don't even finish the cartridges.

Am I a lost soul? A total tobacco addict? What was your experience of quitting smoking in the first few weeks?

These tests below only note my personal opinion for the ESTIMATED ratings for the batteries I tested at the time I tested them. Any battery that is not a genuine Samsung, Sony, Murata, LG, Panasonic, Molicel, or Sanyo can change at any time! This can be one of the hazards of using “rewrapped” or batteries from other manufacturers so carefully research any battery you are considering using before purchasing.

Misusing or mishandling lithium-ion batteries can pose a SERIOUS RISK of property damage, personal injury, or even death. Never use them outside of a fully protected battery pack and you use them at your own risk. Never exceed the battery’s true continuous discharge rating (CDR), never let it get colder than 0°C or hotter than 60°C, and keep the plastic wrap and top insulating ring in perfect condition. Never use a battery that is physically damaged in any way.

Testing batteries at their limits is dangerous and should never be attempted by anyone who has not thoroughly studied the dangers involved, understands the risks, has the proper equipment, and takes all appropriate safety precautions.

If the battery has only one current rating number, or if it only says "max", then I have to assume the battery is rated at that current level for any type of discharge, including continuous.




Test Results
I was hoping the BAK H18650CAP was going to be a decent low-cost competitor for the Samsung 20S or EVE 20P but it wasn’t even close.

Flashlight enthusiasts and “mechanical” mod vapers look for the “hardest hitting” 18650’s they can buy since they provide higher power (due to running a a higher voltage) in a small size. The Samsung 20S and EVE 20P are great examples of cells like this. They can’t run for long at high power levels but for a short period of time they can hold their voltages higher than almost every other 18650.

But the BAK H18650CAP ran for 32% less time at 20A and 65% less time at 30A, compared to those other two cells.

The BAK is rated at 30A “max continuous discharge current” but this is clearly a non-continuous, temperature-limited rating (for things like power tools and electric vacuum cleaners) since this cell was almost hot enough to boil water at 30A. The datasheet lists a 75°C max cell temperature spec so that makes it about an 18A cell. I recommend staying below 18A to reduce voltage sag and help to extend cell life.

The two cells I tested delivered 2100mAh and 2109mAh. This is fantastic consistency and meets this cell’s minimum/typical spec of 2000mAh/2050mAh.

BAK has some great cells but I can’t recommend this one for any use. Its capacity is low and its current handling ability is even lower than a 20A-rated cell (which would probably have greater capacity).

Design
The design on both of these devices are sleek and straight to the point. They are appealing and stealthy designs, not made overly childish or anything, while they still managed to keep it colorful and pleasing to look at. There is some branding on both the back and the front for both of these devices. I think the major difference is that the 10k device is rechargeable, which the 3,5k one isn’t.
The 10k device has a glass looking finish, and on the bottom a flower shaped battery light indicator. On the bottom there is a usb type-c charging port as well.
The 3,5k one doesn’t have a charging port, because it’s not rechargeable.

Flavors


Sunrise
This flavor was ultimately my favorite and the one I wasn’t able to put down. It offers fruity and refreshing flavor tones, without it being too sweet or icy.



Ocean
When reading the name of this flavor, it bothered me a little bit at first, because I was like; “what does the ocean taste like?”. After tasting it, I kinda understood why they went with this name. If you know the air fresheners with the name ocean to the scent, this reminded me of those a little bit. It’s a nice and fresh flavor.



Mango Peach Watermelon
This one tastes exactly like the name. First getting hit with those typical mango peach flavors, followed by a hint of watermelon. These last two flavors from the 3,5k version of the device both are light flavors and they aren’t very sweet.



Mountain Dew
If you are familiar with a mountain dew drink and you like that, you will probably also like this one. It tastes almost exactly like I remember the drink tasting, but also a little less noticeable in flavor and a little less sweet.



Performance
For both of these devices I wanna say that I really appreciate them not being overly sweet or icy in terms of flavor. Another thing that I think ELUX is definitely doing better than some other companies, is keeping the 20mg as the standard for nicotine strength, no one needs more than this. For a heavy smoker trying to quit smoking, 20mg really is that sweet spot that might help them quit.

Feela ENE 10000:
The mesh coil for this device really ensures a consistent vaping experience. You try it once and after that you know what to expect from it. The puff count from 10k is also considered relatively high in the disposable market, which I really appreciate. I have charged them a few times and they are still going strong like in the beginning. When completely empty, the device is fully charged again after about an hour of slow charging. The 600mAh battery will probably get most vapers through a day, especially if you have 2 devices to switch up the flavors.

ENE Legend 3500 Mesh:
This one has a huge 1500mAh battery, which will definitely get most vapers through a few days. This is the one of the devices that can’t be charged and has to be disposed of once the battery dies, but after a few days of using them, mine are still going strong. The flavors on this device are a little less sweet than most disposables out there, but I like to switch it up every now and then, so to me that’s actually not a bad thing.

Verdict
If you like a rechargeable device or one that you vape until it’s dead, ELUX offers both of these options. I personally did prefer the Feela ENE 10000 version of these vapes. Just because of that little more flavor and the fact that I can recharge it multiple times, before it is fully empty. The ENE Legend 3500 Mesh is really more for those people who like a straightforward basic disposable. I would recommend choosing one of these devices based on what you prefer, convenience or longevity.
