► VooPoo Argus P1 S Pod Kit; First Impressions:
For this test I received the "Creed Black" color version of the P1 S which is the latest minimalist style version of the VooPoo Argus Pod series.



The finished product has very compact dimensions, an attractive look, a lightweight transparent plastic construction, finishes up to the mark, and an updated GENE.AI chipset. In the image below you can see P1 S configured with the collar included in this kit.



The Type-C charging port is located at the bottom of the Mod and allows the integrated 800mAh battery to be fully recharged in an excellent time of around 20 minutes.



The side profile of P1 S is softly connected to the rest of the body. In side view; the imaginative IML decorations are integrated under the plastic and continue up to the transparent central area which in turn borders a metal strap, on the metal strap there are two airflow holes which are opposite each other. The small size of the air holes makes me think of an MTL type of vape.



On the panels, at the bottom, you can see the writing "VooPoo" on one side and the writing "Argus" on the other. The In-Mold Labeling molding technique, whose acronym is simply IML, allows the plastic surface of P1 S to be enhanced with brilliant color and reflection effects. Furthermore, this manufacturing process makes the decorations of this device more resistant to wear compared to classic silk-screen printing techniques. The metal strap is decorated with vertical stripes and features the words "Gene" on one side. While on the opposite side you can read the writing "Gene Chip Inside". On the main side the transparent area allows you to see part of the circuit, but above all highlights the internal structure for the interaction of notifications which is made up of 3 LED lines.



► LED notifications:
• Three LEDs lit correspond to a battery charge level between 61% and 100%
• Two LEDs lit correspond to a battery charge level between 31% and 60%
• A single LED lit corresponds to a battery charge level between 0% and 30%



• During vaping the LEDs continuously change color.
• During the charging phase the LEDs continuously change color.
• At the end of the charge the 3 white LEDs will remain lit.

• In case of low voltage the light flashes red 5 times
• In case of undetected cartridge 3 red lights flash once
• In the event of a short circuit, 3 LED lights flash red twice
• In case of high temperature, 3 LED lights flash for 5 seconds.
• During use, if you exceed 8s of uninterrupted vaping, 3 LED lights flash red 8 times



The Compartment/Pod internally houses two rectangular magnets, two gold-plated spring-loaded pins and the sensor for activating the automatic puff placed in a raised position compared to the bottom.

The different combinations of cartridges with different resistances allow the user to select their ideal vape.



Inside the package there are two ARGUS POD cartridges equipped with integrated coils, one 0.7Ω and one 1.2Ω. The cartridge is made of PCTG and has an ergonomic lip spout, the transparency of the cartridge allows you to discreetly view the level of e-liquid inside it. Filling is carried out by lifting a silicone rubber, the good-sized hole allows you to easily insert up to 2ml of e-liquid. On the bottom of the cartridge there are 4 holes for the passage of air towards the coil, according to VooPoo this system expands the air flow that hits the coil globally, increasing the flavour, furthermore the 4 holes are an integral part of the anti-leaking system present on the inside the cartridge itself. On the bottom of the cartridge we can see that the magnets are NOT visible, in reality they are there, and they work quite well. According to VooPoo, the life of the cartridge and its integrated coil supports an average of 23 days of vaping.



The cartridges are compatible with the ARGUS POD family (ARGUS P1, ARGUS G, ARGUS Z, ARGUS POD, ARGUS POD SE). Argus P1 S reaches an estimated maximum power of 25W, for this reason the 0.5Ω ITO Coil (18-25W) could also be used profitably in combination with the "empty pod" which can be purchased separately.



► VooPoo Argus P1 S Pod Kit; Vaping Test & Final Conclusions:
The new Argus Pod P1 S appears like a simple Pod device, however it includes technical solutions aimed at improving the quality and hygiene of vaping without giving up a pleasant and refined cyberpunk aesthetic. The GENE.AI 1.2 Chip on this Mod allows the one and only automatic extraction, therefore simplifying operation for vaping novices. In fact, a slight suction is enough to activate the Puff instantly and without any hesitation. The 800mAh battery seems really well managed and recharges in a very short time. Both cartridges in the Kit are dedicated to MTL vaping. It must be said to be honest that it is not a restricted MTL vape, but it is a rather smooth and open vape. For this reason my favorite cartridge is the 0.7Ω one which provides greater hit and warmth than the 1.2Ω one. The aromatic yield is of a good level, with exemplary operation and no spitting. After very intense and prolonged use of both of these cartridges I really thought they could last a long time before being recycled, I also didn't detect any traces of condensation inside the compartment/pod. Another certainly interesting Plus is the possibility of purchasing empty cartridges as spare parts to be used in combination with the replaceable Ito coils.

So im fairly new to vaping and watch a bunch of yt to see how to build n tips n tricks n also to see whats new and do research on attys and mods. But ive come to a few videos mainly GrimmGreen and his views on 'crackle' seem to have me curious. I have had a bunch of coils do it with varying sounds and loudness and want to see what everyone else thinks and your views on which coils 'crackle' the most. Now im not talking about spitting thats not fun at all the sound im talking about is just that a sound and doesnt make spitback it seems to vaporise the liquid quick enough to no cause the spitting but it produces that awesome Crackle im speaking of. Now from my research n speaking to a friend it seems to be more surface area and the looser your coils wicked is what causes it but i just rewicked a 3mm alien and its more tighter than it was and now crackles louder than it did b4. So for the info currently i have cloud revolutions game over man tripple 28s in one of my rtas a steamcrave meson to b exact and and im using a 3mm cloud bar that i wrapped into my kylin3 and also have an Aiolien in my stubby which all 3 crackle at different volumes. My question is. What types of coils and wattages n theories do you guys have that makes this crazy loud without causing spitback. What coils produce more sound? As i seem to love it when it does it i dont know if its the asmr or what but when it doesnt pop i dont enjoy vaping i think it has to do with timing also as i also pull as long as it pops then stop as it slows down. Also seeing the GrimmGreen and Breeztones stream i watched Adam take a rip and holy heck did his atty sound like a maracca lmao. Anyway hope to hear from some of you. And again ive used coilology tricore n quadcore fused claptons and theyve also done it but these cloudrev aliens do it more than cheaper aliens did. But im curious if any ones got any other theories and practice with other coils n methods. I havent used anything like framed staples or fraliens or staggered anything the only types i have used are aliens fused claptons and a friend gave me some juggernauts that i tried out which also popped a little bit. So i vape 3mg using drag x plus. I use 0.2 coils

I thought i would try go to 0mg so bought 5 big bottles of 0mg.

It is not working for me so i need to go back to 3mg. I am in New Zealand at the minute traveling, from England. Due to legislation out here you cant buy nic shots, but you can buy flavoured nic salts up to 50mg.

I bought 30ml of 50mg nic salt in vanilla to match my other 5 flavours which are mostly dessert ones. My question is how much of this do I need to add to my 0mg 120ml bottles to make 3mg. I have used online calculators which says 7.2ml but just want to double check as i am not sure if this is calculating it based on the base being pure nicotine?

I also read about sub-ohms and nic salts, but i only vape at like 30/40w.. never used nic salts before but this seems cheapest option for me other than wasting all the e liquid i bought and having to buy more. Will i get nic sic vaping at this level?
