Excuse the caps but I'm frustrated.

I'm a long-time vaper who HAD to give up smoking due to damaged lungs. I started in 2009 with the tech still in its infancy, but as the tech improved, I managed to quit cigarettes completely over a few months. After that, I followed the improving tech until I found my ideal; the JustFog C14 tank and coil. My ventures in following the tech further failed, especially the Direct to Lung and low resistance kits which had an almost immediate adverse effect on my lungs; too dangerous for me.

I mixed my own 50/50 PG/VG and was using an imported vanilla flavouring in my e-juice, from a particular supplier, and had no problems until they went bust during Covid. After that, I sampled dozens of alternative flavourings but the ones that tasted good enough, all hit my lungs and caused breathing problems. At this point, about 2 years ago, I took the decision to go flavourless. This worked for a year or so.

I continued buying separate PG, VG and Nicotine and mixing down to about 16mg concentration; however, this is no longer working for me. Over the last year I've struggled with problems such as lack of 'hit' which reduces satisfaction and a big increase in phlegm. Despite being an experienced vaper, I don't know what's wrong!

It could be the PG, VG or Nicotine not being up to scratch, although I've used a number of different, reputable suppliers. It could be the atomisers imported from China (no one else makes them anymore), not doing their job properly, although they seem to heat ok. It could be the eGo batteries, also imported from China (no one else makes them anymore), which measure a fixed 4.1V, a little higher than my preferred 3.7V.

Basically, I'm not enjoying my vaping atm and I just don't know which way to turn anymore. Any ideas?

Thanks for having me. I've been vaping inconsistently for a couple of years. I started again last year and have now decided to shift from sub-ohm tanks to re-buildable tanks. I made a mistake by prematurely switching to mesh coils. There's a significant difference between watching tutorials and actually rebuilding. I gave up after trying to wrap my coil more than 20 times and switched to traditional coils to get a better understanding of the building process.

You often hear from people going from sub tanks to rebuildables like rdas and rtas but are there any people out there that done this but went back to regular coilheads like those in sub tanks anyway?

I love rebuildables i would never give up my rdas and rtas but i cant lie i also like a good sub tank sometimes with a tasty mesh coil..

I eat condensed milk with avocado all the time and I need to replicate this flavor in a vape. I think it would be delicious. But no one is out there reviewing avocado flavors. I see the notes for Flavorah on ELR and they are not promising.

I started vaping in 2013 in hopes of improved focus. Didn't get as strong of an effect as I wanted and quit mid-2014.

Managed to quit the stinkies as Bogan would say. Started out buying a few disposables but realized they are a waste and just as expensive as cigarettes. So a guy at my local shop sold me a caliburn A2. I Didn't like it much. Battery sucked and it was chewing through pods. When I realized you could just change coils in other devices I was recommended a Aegis B60 by another vape shop. Loved how it vaped but it only lasted a few months before it quit charging!

A co worker had been telling me that a mod is the only way to go so I ordered a Legend 2 and have had it for a few weeks now and am loving it. And I've been watching tons of YouTube videos and learning all I can. So of course now I want an RDA! And want to start DIYing liquids... and want a smaller device for when I'm out and trying to stealth vape at work.

The only site I've found that offers free shipping and doesn't charge adult signature fees doesn't have a great selection of rebuildables. Does anyone know of anywhere else that has good prices and offers cheap shipping and no ridiculous fees and isn't in China?

Hi I have a fairly old Xtar VC4 and it appears to overcharge. I read the specs and it says cutoff voltage 4.2V but when I wait for the charger to say "FULL" I measure the battery with a multimeter and it reads 4.8V. It also takes some time after the charger reads 4.2V to read "FULL". Batteries remain cool but checking all my batteries they all read 4.8V. Is the charger faulty and should I just pull the batteries when the charger reads 4.2V?
