Been quite some time since I bought a new mod. I've always been a Kanger fan. I'm using an ancient Stainless Subox Mini-C I think it is. I've had a few of them as I bought a ton of coils and still have quite a few. The mod I'm currently using is quickly starting to fail. The coils I have are round (as opposed to squarish ones I also have). I want to say they're OCC but it's been a long time since I bought them so I'm not sure, I can post a pic if necessary. It really has been a long time so I have no idea what the latest, greatest is today. I do know I would like to purchase a mod that can use the coils I have.

Can anyone recommend a good Kanger or other mod I can purchase that uses these coils? I'm not a high voltage person. I use the 1.5 olm variety.

I'm wondering here. At first I thought that big tobacco companies were going to try and get rid of vapes, but instead it seems like they've turned around embraced a multimillion dollar market of e cigarettes. I feel a little crazy saying what I'm about to say, because I've never liked lobbying in the government. Of course the tobacco industry has only taken interest in e cigs because of the potential of huge financial gains, but that being said, did they actually prevent the vape industry with it's rainbow of flavors from being wiped out? The vape industry itself is a massive money maker, removing it would take away or harm lots of jobs businesses, and revenues. The government tax on e liquid really brought prices up, but they too just want the extra money generated off of these products being sold, so banning them means less money funneled to them too.

Are we safe? For now? Forever? Hopefully they just leave vaping alone like they do with cigarettes and blunts. Not like they're trying to ban berry flavored Cheyenne's. Man those things are nasty but they have their place I guess. Anyways, thoughts? I've been totally out of the loop. Ive seen tons of flavored disposables still covering the shelves of gas stations tho.

I get to re-experience the quitting sensation from chain smoking. Started vaping cut my cigarette consumption down by half at first, then in just a week or two I don't even want a cigarette. I could chain smoke 4-6 cigarettes in the morning, 2 cigarettes on each of my breaks, 3-4 cigarettes on my lunch break, 4 on the way home and another 7 or more at the end of the day. Also I would straight chain smoke for hours on the weekend. That's a ton of nicotine. Id wanna smoke before 2 o clock break. That feeling is just gone now. One 5ml tank of 3mg juice being only 15mg of nicotine, and the fact I can't even smoke that much juice on my break has completely limited my nicotine consumption to the point of switching entirely to the vape. It works. I remember last time having more energy too. The sweet liquid has also taken away my sugar cravings, but if I'm hungry it triggers my appetite. It helped I already had an awesome rig set up from the first time, but It works. I definitely prefer low mg sub on to those nic salt vapes, I think the nic salts are what made me relapse to smoking again last time because i was consuming way more concentrated nicotine.

Doesn't hurt to throw this out there in hopes that someone may have a XvoStick DNA 40 or 60 (60 preferred ) to part with....

I also am interested in purchasing the Smoant Knight V2 in decent condition, in case one of those may be floating around...

Lately i got into mechs after leaning ohms law ofc anyway ive just been using the same coils for regulated that i use for mechs...
my mech is a 21700 battery if that matters..
My question is ive been reading alot of back and forth and its making me confused
Alot of people say to only use kanthal or nic80 basic wire for mechs cause exotics have too much mass to work well..
Then i read like i said back and forth that exotic coils work fine if not even better than round as long as you keep the outer G at around 36g outer and up so 32g is too thick etc..
I checked mine are dual fused 26*2 / 36g so since its 36g and my battery being 21700 its not too beefy right?

Or am i doing it wrong and need to use basic round?
I jus want good flavor and clouds

I just did a experiment for fun to compare anyway long story short the build in my rda is .2 in my hybrid mech acording to ohm law calculator its about 80-88watts just to compare since i dont have another of the same rda i just unscrewed it and put it on a regulated mod now and set it to 80-88watts as well just to compare and see if 80watts is the same on both devices and its not!
I feel like the mech hits a tiny a bit harder how is that possible should be same watts no?,
it could be my brand new batteries(30T) in the mech doing it idk but the batteries(25R) in the regulated mod are only a few months old but
since its the same rda/build and juice i expected similar results they were close but mech def felt like it hit harder/better hard to explain..

Next comparison test will be done using same batteries across both mods

Anyone done something like this before what was your results?

Anyway still love both and use both on the daily was just to compare and a fun thing to do
