I really love the way mechs look i know its not all about looks but for me it def plays a role and mech can be pretty safe if you know ohms law and battery hygene but i was wondering...
Alot of mech lovers also really like the look of them why dont vape companies create tube mods like that but also regulated?
Im suprised we dont see this done already at least i cant find any the only ones i can think of is the provari,vamo,evic but those were back when vaping VW/VV started pretty much, but nothing since then???
Mehh maybe one day or just create more mechs thats good too and only sell to people that know ohms law to avoid those news articles and injuries

I just received a Smok Propad device, and primed it, but I am getting very little vapor from it. Anyone have experience with this device?

It does say a 70/30 ratio works best with it, and the liquid I am using is not this ratio. Would this make a difference?

I'm new here and hopeful I'll be able to find a solution to a problem I have. I'm not sure where in the forums I can post what I am looking for so if anyone could direct me? I need to find someone in Jacksonville, FL that can help me purchase juices from the shop I used to use there before I moved to California a few months ago.

I'm a super boring person when it comes to vaping. I use one juice, one mod, one tank. Never had much to talk about regarding it so I never really joined forums before. Though this was recommended to me in finding a way to get the only juice I vape. I have been vaping since 2013 and I'm highly sensitive to juices, so I have to be careful what I vape as I am allergic to most.

For now I'll just poke around on the forums a bit and remain hopeful that there is a spot I can post this request and find someone to help me out

Just curious what everyone else is using!

I have recently purchased myself two Hohm Tech Hohm Life4 batteries from imrbatteries.com to use with my Aegis Eteno E100 mod. Let me say, great little mod, pocketable and powerful enough for my needs. I just wish it had a 510 connector, but from what Ive heard elsewhere, the VooPoo magnetic to 510 adapter works great with it. Ill be hunting one of those down in the near future so I can use a RTA with the mod.

Now on to the real reason for this post. I purchased these batteries because I have seen them sold in more than one brick and mortar vape shop around my area and was curious as to how well they work. I bought them from imrbatteries.com so I could be as certain as possible that they were the real deal. Ive been using them for a couple days now and they seem to perform well. The vape stays the same quality as in volume, flavor, and temp until the battery is nearly dead. They replaced a couple Molicel P26A batteries that I have had since 2020. With the Molicel, the vape would seem to rapidly get cooler around 20-30% battery life according to the battery meter on the mod. I haven’t noticed this at all with the Hohm Techs. From my somewhat educated guess (I have some background in electronics and understand ohm’s law and battery safety) Im guessing that this is just because the Molicel batteries were a few years old and getting long in the tooth, so to speak. According to Mooch, the Molicel batteries are the best all-rounders, while the Hohm Tech dont even appear on his recommended battery list. I have a hard time believing that the Hohm Tech would outperform new Molicel batteries. But, Ive been wrong before, and will be wrong again, Im sure.

Now, on the Hohm Tech batteries themselves, I am wondering about something. Hopefully someone who knows more about batteries than I do (I know they are out there) can answer this for me. Mooch has rated these particular batteries at 20A CDR. The battery wrapped states a 22.1A CDR and a 31.5A max. Im currently running the mod stated earlier at 68-70w with a .2 ohm coil which should push the amperage to right at or just under 20A. That is what the amp meter on the mod shows when firing. Now, the question here is, should I be concerned about going higher than that? If I was using them in a senario where they would be kept at those currents for an extended amount of time, I would never consider exceeding 20A. But what I am wondering is, would it be safe to push them to say 25A or even their max on the wrapper in a mod, provided it doesn’t cause the battery and mod to get noticeably warm? On the Hohm Tech website it states that the 31.5A can be used, provided the cells are not allowed to exceed 80C, but I think in most cases Mooch uses 60C as his cut off for safety. So, staying at or under 31.5A and under 80C, or perhaps under 60C would be even better, should mean that usage should be safe for these, right? Or am I misunderstanding something here?

Sorry for the wall of text. Im just trying to make sure my understanding is as good as it can be. Can never be too safe with these things, right?

With original Widewick Joyetech was the first manufacturer to apply WideWick™ technology with mesh inside a disposable cartridge. I had really liked the original device, so with the original model one could speak of innovation in vaping to obtain the best flavor characteristics that a Pod can offer. This restyling maintains the same WideWick™ technology and the same 800mah internal battery which now has a more constant output. WideWick Air Pod Kit was assembled by injection molding, the fluid and smooth body of this product offers a nice brightness with an ultralight weight of only 40g.



For this test I received the "Pink Red" and "Pearl White" colors the tactile feedback is good thanks to the surface that appears very velvety, the "under the skin" streaks are captivating and the only two writings "Joyetech" and "Widewick" are small and non-invasive. At the bottom is the notification LED on charging and active battery protections.



► Joyetech WideWick Air Pod Kit; Airflow:
There are two small opposing holes, one on each side, used to feed the mesh-coil inside the disposable cartridge with air. These two small holes are designed for purely MTL vaping style.





On the bottom of the device there is the Type-C charging port, for a full charge it takes about 70 minutes. If you are not compulsive with 800mAh of battery capacity you can say goodbye to low battery anxiety during the day. The pod compartment contains; two magnets to hold the cartridge, two gold-plated contact pins, and the Puff automatic activation sensor which is raised above the bottom to avoid absorbing any condensation.

The cartridge has the classic flattened spout, the same spout is removable to allow you to fill the tank with 2ml of e-liquid. The Mesh-coil has been wrapped in a layer of absorbent material which occupies about 50% of the space inside the tank.



Refilling should be done relatively slowly to give the cotton enough time to absorb the liquid. The first time I filled this cartridge I waited 5 minutes and started vaping. After some time I checked the liquid level and saw that it was completely depleted, so I wondered why the net didn't give me back the classic burnt taste, I came to believe it's just this huge layer of absorbent material which saved my net reel. Just like a sponge, the wick at the bottom of the tank stays moist long enough before drying out completely. So you can also (cautiously) indulge in some carelessness before filling the tank completely again. Thanks to the WideWick TM cotton that wraps the coils, the heating occurs more evenly and without spitback. Regardless of whether the WideWick TM pod is slightly tilted when vaping. The flavor with this Pod is rewarded, above all it returns very well sweet flavors such as those of creamy or fruity liquids, emphasizing them a lot. The airflow isn't too restricted, the hit is smooth and quiet, the vapor is quite thick and plentiful. I haven't noticed any leaks or spitback phenomena. I liked the original version as well as I like this new Mesh+WideWick solution, so I absolutely promote this new Joyetch kit too.
