Hello and welcome. I’m very glad to be here today with you to discuss the latest addition to the Lost Vape Thelema line of kits. So far we’ve seen the Thelema DNA250C, the Thelema Quest, the Thelema 80w, The Thelema DNA100C, and the Thelema Solo 100. Lost vape has done it again and this time I was sent the Thelema Mini Kit in order to provide you with a fair and honest review. The Mini has a maximum output of 45 watts while utilizing a 1500mah internal battery. The body is made of zinc alloy and it has a leather like backing on it. The tank included in the kit is the UB Lite Tank which promises a tight MTL to DTL performance. It has a liquid capacity of 3.5ml and the kit includes different two coils so you can sample both types of vaping I mentioned. Will it deliver on the promises? I sure hope so but stick around until the end of the review and I’ll tell you about my experience with each coil.

INITIAL THOUGHTS:

I was a little surprised that the front of the box for the Mini was blue. Normally I would see a white box with black lettering. Anyway, it’s not bad, just different. The Lost Vape Quest and logo are near the top left. There is a picture of the actual device contained inside which I like instead of using one image for all versions. I received the Titanium Green version for this review. No complaints here. I like all of them besides the pink and purple versions. The back side of the box has a list of contents, company information, a warning, authenticity code, and a bar code with color version. My box says titanium green but that isn’t one of the colors listed but believe it is the same as the dragon green.

One side of the box has a list of features with icons while the opposite side has the Lost Vape Quest name and the logo “The Modern Demarcation”.

Once opened, the Thelema Mini is sitting in a plastic tray with the UB Lite Tank attached. To the right of the Mini is a spare bubble glass and a rectangular box with the USB-C charging cable, two UB Lite coils, and an accessory bag with an RDL drip tip and extra seals for the tank. The user manuals for the mod and tank are on top of the plastic tray when you first open the box.

The two coils included in the kit are a 1.2 ohm coil rated at 11 watts and a .3 ohm coil rated for 45 watts. There is also a third coil available but not included which is a .6 ohm coil rated for 20-30 watts.

The UB Lite tank included in the kit holds is easily broken down for cleaning. There are two different drip tips included. The MTL tip comes already installed on the tank and the DTL tip is inside the accessory bag. I really like the MTL tip on this one. It reminds me of some old school drip tips I used to use.

Once the top cap is removed, you can see that there are two holes. The larger one is for filling while the smaller one is the vent hole. Even though it might look big in the picture below, it really isn’t and some bottle tips will not fit through this hole. The coils simply push in to seat and the bottom cap screws on to make connection and hold it securely. The

The Thelema Mini is obviously a shrunk down version of the Thelema Solo. It sports a 1500mah internal battery with an output range of 5-45 watts. It has a .69” OLED display for a user interface. The main body of the Mini is made from zinc alloy with a leather like wrap that covers the back and sides. It has designs embossed on it but it really isn’t padded at all. The name Thelema Mini is printed on one side of the frame while the Lost Vape name is printed on the opposite side.

The top of the mod has the 510 connection plate secured by three torx screws. The threaded 510 connection has a gold plated spring loaded center pin like we’ve become accustomed to seeing on most mods these days. The included tank is 22mm in diameter and is a pretty good fit for the size of the top plate. You might be able to get a 23mm on there with no overhang but feel like a 24mm is going to go over the edge.

The bottom of the mod appears to be made of a hard plastic and is secured with two torx screws. There are three battery vent holes in the base which is a good safety feature.

The front of the mod has a fairly large square fire button that is quite comfortable to use. Below that is the .69” OLED display screen followed by the + and – buttons with the USB-C charging port on the bottom. The charging port allows the user to charge the 1500mah internal battery. I’ve looked a few places and do not see a charging rate listed anywhere for the Mini. If I can remember before I finish writing this review then I’ll dig out my USB charging tester and see what it shows. The .69” display shows the following information.

• Battery level indicator
• Coil resistance
• Set wattage
• Length of time of current puff(10 second cutoff)
• Puff counter

The Thelema Mini is a pretty simplistic device. It only does wattage output. It is considered to be part of the Quest line of products but does not contain the Quest 2.0 display and buttons like we are used to seeing on larger Lost Vape mods. The few button operations available on this mod are as follows.

• Press the fire button 5X to turn the device on/off
• Press and hold the fire button and the – button for three seconds to reset the Puff Counter
• Press and hold the fire button and the + button to Lock/Unlock the adjustment buttons while the mod will still fire.

FINAL THOUGHTS:

I have really enjoyed testing the Lost Vape Thelema Mini for this review. It is indeed a simplified and shrunken version of the Thelema. It is comfortable to hold with its smaller size but performs like a full size mod when using the .3 ohm UB Lite coil. The airflow control with three smaller round holes followed by a larger slotted hole allows the user to go from a tight MTL vape to a very nice RDL in my opinion. The 1500mah internal battery seemed to last quite a while and especially when using the 1.2 ohm coil in MTL operation. There is also a pod tank available for purchase for those that like to use pods. I personally don’t see the point but Lost Vape decided to include it in the information on the Mini kit. I guess it would save one step in coil changing but you would then sacrifice the top fill of the UB Lite tank for a bottom fill pod. Not a move that I would make.

As far as my testing goes, I started out with the 1.2 ohm coil set at the recommended 11 watts and filled the tank with a fruit salt nic that I had left over from another review. I ended up running the airflow with one single round hole open using the MTL tip included in the kit and pre-installed. The flavor production was really pretty good but I yearned for more wattage. After running the coil at 11 watts to break it in then I bumped it up to 13 watts. This was a better fit for me. I don’t really do much low wattage MTL vaping but was pretty happy with this one at these settings.

Next up I cleaned the tank out and wanted to change to the bubble glass but after several tries and not being able to get the straight glass off I finally gave up and just switched to the .3 ohm coil and filled the tank with some Dinner Lady Lemon Tart. I have to admit that I was really surprised by this coil. I know it’s rated for 45 watts but I started out at 25 watts just to be safe. Even at that setting it was a really nice and powerful vape. I did work my way up to 45 watts but at that setting for me it was too warm and after a few consecutive puffs it didn’t seem like the coil was fully saturated. I ended up dialing it back to 28 watts and was very happy with this setting. Great flavor and a respectable amount of vapor. I’ve noticed on many stock coils that even though there is a recommended wattage setting that many times it’s just not a good fit for me.

Now let's see in detail what is the first VooPoo Sub-ohm Tank equipped with "Top AFC", because it is a particular construction type which, compared to the classic "Bottom AFC" arrangement, is able to eliminate any loss of e-liquid.



This tank can be easily disassembled for cleaning operations and the package is particularly rich in spare silicone gaskets and o-rings.



► Voopoo U-Force-L Tank; Drip Tip 810:
VooPoo (cleverly) made the 810 housing featured in the top cap "standard", this solution allows you to use any 810 Drip Tip equipped with one or two silicone rings. The original Drip Tip has two white silicone rings that offer an excellent grip, the extraction hole at the base is 7mm wide then the chimney widens upwards progressively to end with a 10mm diameter at the top.



► Voopoo U-Force-L Tank; Facilitated refill:
The top cap has a finely knurled perimeter for better finger grip. In fact, with the classic bayonet system, 1/2 a turn is enough to remove the cap and proceed with filling. There are two filling slots with elastic holes to allow the insertion of even fairly wide tips of the respective e-liquid dispensers.



In the image below you can see the large silicone gasket removed from its housing, you can see the shape of the gasket and the protuberance that goes into the single blind hole around the filling slots. You can also see the "bayonet" system for opening the top cap.



► Voopoo U-Force-L Tank; Triple upper vent:
You can rotate the AFC ring on the top of the atomizer clockwise or counterclockwise to adjust the airflow as you like. The three large vents are connected like a funnel to channel and compress the air from top to bottom. In the lower part of the central structure, the three air intakes wrap around the coil at 360°, feeding it in a large and uniform way. Furthermore, the hollow structure in the central part absorbs the noise of the airflow to allow you to enjoy the vape silently and without annoying whistling.

Above the oring for the pyrex glass seal, there are 3 large windows for the passage of the e-liquid towards the coil, these windows are carefully flared on the edges.



In this image I tried to show you the 3-headed dog logo (maybe 3-headed wolf) that VooPoo laser engraved in the center of the supporting structure.



► Voopoo U-Force-L Tank; Base with Heatsink:
On the bottom of the base are; the inscription "VOOPOO", the inscription "Designed By VOOPOO", the CE mark, the disposal logo. The Thread contains a gold-plated, slightly protruding fixed pin.



In this image, you can see the base design that mimics a heat sink to speed up the cooling of the tank. The base joins the central structure via a sliding thread, between the base and the central structure there is a silicone o-ring for a perfect seal.



The base is quite deep to contain the possible formation of condensation without a way out. In the center are the gold plated contact pins for better electrical conductivity to be transferred to the coil. You can see that there is another o-ring on the upper perimeter of the base for a perfect seal with the tank.

The manufacturer promises a strawberry cream macaron cake poured into this longfill mould. I was hooked immediately, I wouldn't miss this strawberry dessert. It was disappointing right from the start as it doesn't have much of a scent, what I got was a very faint cookie something. It's ok, I didn't buy it for the smell, let's look at the taste. Unfortunately, I didn't get what I would have expected in terms of taste either. The strawberry is almost impossible to identify, it's some kind of fruit, but it's not strawberry for sure. The cakey part, which would be the macaron in theory, overpowers the fruit part of the flavour, but only because you can at least taste some of it. I got a rather sweet sugary taste that is so present that you can almost taste nothing else. I was wondering while steaming what could have happened, how the producers could have ruined this flavour like that. If it has fruit and cookie flavours, I could at least tell one of them for what it is. I expected more from the Croatian producer KTS, who has so many flavours that I can almost only write good things about. I found this aroma to be very weak and pointless on my part, which is a shame as I could have gotten much better flavors out of the intestinal oils I did get. But that's okay, there are worse flavours than bad ones, and the good news is that I have tasted worse flavours. Since there are seven flavours available in the Liquid Chroma range, I hope the other fruity flavours don't go down the same bad road as the Srawberry Macaron.
