Innokin Klypse Kit Review by Dreamvaper

Hello fellow ECF members.:2cool:
I'd like to discuss the Innokin Klypse Kit that was sent to me by Innokin for the purpose of providing a fair and honest review.

Colour options available:

Key Features:
700mAh Built-in Battery
2ml Pod Cartridge with new and improved mesh coils
Removable Top Dust Cap with a magnetic "Klypse"

Short Description:
Innokin Klypse Kit allows you to navigate the MTL experience, the 2ml pod cartridge has an integrated 0.8ohm coil and features a side filling design. It has no adjustable airflow and captures a semi-restrictive MTL vape via its two fixed pinholes. Designing a 700mAh built-in battery, it has one hour of fully charged and gains a max 16W output. It optimizes a concealed LED light to check the battery level. The onboard chipset provides multiply safety protection. Constructed from aluminum alloy and decorated by a removable top dust cap, this kit seems most natural for easily carrying.

Let's check the Real Klypse kit (I actually received 2 of them, thanks Innokin):

First thing you'll notice it's the recyclable packaging Innokin is using for its latest devices:
Box is easy to open, compact, light and I guess it's easy to recycle. Plus points for that!:thumb: On the back you have all the needed info - QR code and authenticity check.:nun:

Opening the box:

Whats in the box:
Packing List:
• 1 * Innokin Klypse Device
• 1 * Pod Innokin Klypse (0.8Ω Mesh Coil)
• 1 * USB Type-C Cable
• 1 * User Manual
• 1 * Safety / Warning Booklet

Type-C charging port on the side is easy accessible:

Pod filling is an easy process, had no leakage or other problems with the pod:

Klypse is a pretty compact device, here is a size comparison with Relx, Sceptre and MVP:

One of the main Features - Magnetic Cap - dustproof and easy to Klypse on the back (by magnets) so you won't loose it.
I found it very useful indeed. It holds on the back of the Klypse very well :thumb:

Klypse Parameters:

Dimensions: 94mm * 29mm * 15.2mm
Construction: Aluminium Alloy
Pod Material: PCTG
Pod Dimensions: 35mm * 11.2mm * 25mm
Charging: Type-C USB 5V/1A
Output Wattage: 16W Max
E-liquid Capacity: 2.0ml Pod
Pods: Refillable, Non-replaceable 0.8 ohm Coil
Coil Material: Kanthal A1 Mesh
Filling Method: Side Fill Port
Resistance Range: 0.8ohm +
Battery Specification: Internal 700mAh
Output Current: 5.0 Amps Max
Display: Concealed White LED
Airflow: Fixed 2X Side Holes
Firing: Draw Activation Only
Cut-Off: 10 Seconds
Package: Recyclable Box

Award Winner:
Innokin Klypse won 3 big Awards on the recent Vape Shows, including the Best Pod VapExpo Award 2022!
Pros:
Affordable price
Nice design
Good and quality build
Easy to use - no extra buttons
Aluminum Alloy body
Dustproof Klypse Cap
Great mesh pod with improved mesh coils
700mAh built-in battery with quick Type-c charging
Awards Winner = Trendy Device

Cons:

No extra coil in the package to test the options
LED indicator is not very informative - watch for your battery not to run out

My Final Thoughts on Klypse kit:

Innokin created another decent yet affordable (around 19$ + shipping:2c:) compact vape kit with an interesting design and all needed features of a modern vape (auto-draw, lasting battery, coils/options, overheat and other kinds of protection) and an interesting bonus with the Magnetic dustproof Cap which is really useful.
I have a 2nd device and I'll gladly give it to one of my friends who is struggling to switch from smoking to vaping and I'm 100% sure that Klypse will do it's job for my friend.:nun:

Overall rank 8.5/10 by Dreamvaper.
Can recommend this device :thumb:

Thanks for reading:thumbs:

Dry tobacco on Volcano vaporizer

Hello, nice to meet you all! I own Volcano Classic vaporizer and i plan to vaporize rolling dry tobacco on it. Had anyone tested it? Is it safe? Which the ideal temperature for tobacco vaporization? I want the nicotine hit, but also the flavor. Also, it would be nice if i could vape e-liquids on my Volcano.

Disclaimer: I was planning to buy an electronic device for vaping e-liquids, but then i thought it would be worth to explore my current machine to save some money.

Did the batteries in JUUL devices get worse?

I started vaping back in 2019 using JUULs. I started off with 2 devices. The batteries lose their ability to hold a charge so I noticed after after about a year, the devices would go from green to yellow even without a lot of use.

So I bought 2 more devices. Pretty much every 12 months, I bought 2 devices (JUULs won't let you buy more than 2 at a time).

I bought new JUUL devices 6 months ago when JUUL had a sale. 2 more devices. I have noticed though that even after only 6 months, the 2 new devices are losing their ability to hold a charge too.

Some of the older devices seem to hold a charge better than the newest ones, even though the older devices have been used a lot more.

Did JUULs start using different batteries for their newer devices? Trying to figure out why the batteries in newer JUUL devices degrade faster than the batteries in older JUUL devices.

Hello

Newbie, wanted to get some info after the FDA decided to ban JUUL devices and pods. I might have to get info to make a customized vape kit.

I use JUUL and other than stocking up, which can't go on forever, it's either a customized vape kit or go back to cigarettes (or stop smoking).

FREEMAX MARVOS X 100W KIT REVIEWED BY BIGBOB2322

Hello again and welcome back for another vape review, today's review item was sent to me from Freemax and it's the latest version in the Marvos family lineup called the Maxus X 100W Kit. The Marvos X follows the recent Maxus Solo 100W Kit and have some similarities between them but also some differences as well, I reviewed the Maxus Solo100W Kit a few weeks back and really like it and have kept it in my personal daily rotation of devices that I use, if you missed the review it's link is here FREEMAX MAXUS SOLO 100W KIT REVIEWED BY BIGBOB2322. A single 18650 is the power source that runs the Marvos X and as the title suggest has a maximum power output of 100 watts with 4 power output modes of operation, I'll let you know right now that there is no TC function for those of you that still use temperature control. Before my review of the Marvos X100W Kit let's check out some information, features and specs on this lighthouse of a kit.

FIRST IMPRESSIONS

After opening the box the first thing I noticed was that the spine of the device is covered in leather that is more of a thin piece glued on, there is no soft cushy feel to it. I was sent the Brown colored version that has a image of a Horse that is divided in half by the Marvos X banner between both half's, the Horse and Marvos X banner are lightly embossed. There is a series of small X's also lightly embossed throughout the spine and brown stitching surrounds the spine giving the appearance of the leather being sewn on.

20220617_214240.jpg

I was pleasantly surprised to find no bottom battery door but rather a side battery cover that is somewhat of a C-Frame type cover, I really like a C-Frame cover for it's quick removal when swapping out batteries. The display screen is clear and shows the circuit board and button housings just as the Maxus Solo does also.

To the naked eye it doesn't look like much but when power is applied during a vape a light show illuminates the entire display screen that I'll cover later, remember if you don't like lights you have the option to turn them off. The contents of this kit include the Marvos CRC Pod, charge cord, 0.15Ω MS-D mesh coil, 0.25Ω MD-D mesh coil, safety warning card, warranty card, user manual and of course the Marvos X. I was sent a first batch sample version so the final retail version may differ.

20220617_145156.jpg

Starting out with the Marvos CRC Pod that is more of a Tank but because of it's magnetic connection to the device it's classified as a Pod. The MS-D Coils are a standard push and pull type with no flat spots to line up, the coils O-rings are a light Blue color giving the coils a accent of their own. There are 4 magnets on the Pod that connect to the metal internal top of the device as most Pods do.

The magnets do a good job holding the Pod in place and you can pick the device up by grabbing the Pod without it coming off the device, when filling though the Pod sometimes tilts because you need to lift up then slide back the top cap so hold the Pod in place when pulling up on the cap. The CRC Pod uses a 810 drip tip that can be replaced with one of your own personal favorites, I had no issues with the supplied drip tip so I kept it on during testing.

Having a clear Pod with a slightly tinted drip tip makes for a nice look but condensation does build up over time as you will see in my pictures. The CRC Pod is a very airy one that will make all you big air lovers very happy, I on the other hand like a RDL vape and have the dual airflow slots only opened up 1/3 of the way. The new MS-D Coils have different sized mesh netting for the appropriate wattage needed. Both coils have performed great at the minimum wattage but a boost to the best setting of 45w from Freemax was my sweet spot on the 0.25Ω coil.

20220617_165945.jpg

MS-D 0.15Ω Coil 60-80w Best At 75w MS-D 0.25Ω Coil 30-50w Best At 45w

Having a 5ml Pod that doesn't plow through juice is another bonus for the CRC Pod.
Filling the CRC Pod could not be ant easier than it is by having a spring loaded sliding cap.
The sliding top cap with the child resistant opening works great but I ran into a issue filling the Pod when using 100 or 120mm bottles because of the width of the bottles, if you fill the Pod using either size bottle the drip tip needs to be removed in order to get to the fill port, it can be filled without removing the drip tip but your taking a chance of having a mess happen.

The fill port opening could be a tad larger to completely insert the larger bottle tip but it works without spillage, I always fill on one side of the fill port when using a larger 100ml bottle so air can escape out the other side when refilling the Pod. Freemax made it easy to find the correct position to slide the top cap back by putting the Freemax name there, just lift up and slide it back, being a spring loaded top cap means no accidental opening either.

20220624_141206.jpg

We now come to the main star of show that is the Marvos X, removing the battery cover reveals a frosted semi transparent RGB housing for a single 18650 battery, boy do I wish it took a 21700 but it is what it is. Battery polarity is marked on the housing with a positive + symbol at the top and a negative - symbol at the bottom, both symbols can be seen but being highlighted in black would make it more visible but I am guessing it might interfere with the LED lights when illuminated.

The top positive battery contact is spring loaded so when inserting a battery connect the positive side of the battery first pushing up, both contacts + and - are Gold in color. The cover holds in place very well using 2 strong magnets at the top and bottom, the battery cover on mine is rock solid and snaps into place with no movement or play of any kind.

20220617_171234.jpg

When a battery is installed in the device the LED lights illuminate immediately showing a bright halo of light through the RGB battery housing surrounding the battery making the battery look like a Mummy in a Tomb. Always remember you can deactivate the LED's.

20220617_171322.jpg

I have to give Freemax a huge thumbs up on the details of the Marvos X mod, as you will see in a bit, the light show is amazing and being able to customize the lights, pattern, color and speed of movement just to name a few, there is even a illusion of the battery covers outer frame edge being illuminated which it's not but really appears that it is. I let you know that this is a very airy Pod and it can be seen by looking through the 2 airflow slots, for my style of vape just 1/3 open works best and improves the flavor as well.

20220617_171643.jpg

20220617_183311.jpg

On the front of the device when the LED lights are illuminated you can see the inner workings of the device circuit board as well as button attachments and the USB port to the board, without the LED lights on it's difficult to see all the internals of the see through display screen.

Even the ribbon attachment of the display screen can be seen, having a view like this really allows you to see what's actually inside a mod and how it's connected. There is a switch below the USB charge port that when engaged shuts the entire device down locking it and preventing any operation, a animated screen shows it's locked. Switching it back pops the same screen up showing that it's unlocked, a locking switch is a great way to ensure your device wont fire or any settings that you made come off when being carried in a pocket instead of turning the device off with the standard 5 presses of the fire button.

20220617_184000.jpg

Having a look at the display screen's information shows that most of the individual fonts are good sized but the battery bar and ohm readout is on the small side looking at it during a quick glance it's difficult to focus on. The display screens information is as follows from left to right and top to bottom.

* Battery Bar

* Ohm Reading

* Puff Counter

* Watts / Curve Settings / Volts

* Power Mode

* Volts / Power

FINAL IMPRESSIONS

First things first, the lights are not for all vapers but you have a option to turn them off if you wish to do that as you should. Normally I'm in the camp of not liking lights because most are done in a way making the device look cheap as if the lights were thrown on as a after thought but Freemax has put a lot of thought into the lights and patterns that include the ability to raise or lower their brightness as well as the speed of whatever pattern you are using making the feature of lights and patterns totally customizable to your preference.

Having a C-Frame styled battery cover makes swapping out batteries a much quicker experience than a bottom battery cap that needs to be screwed on and off. The device that was sent to me has a very secure battery cover and it has no movement to it.

The CRC Pod is a solid performer that should make every vaper happy because wide open makes the air lovers happy and closed down makes the RDL vapers happy with plenty of adjustments in between. Airflow is smooth no matter what position you choose but flavor is better the tighter the airflow becomes.

The new MS-D Coils proved to be what we all expect from Freemax ( GREAT FLAVOR ). I normally gravitate to coils that are low Ohm's but I really like both of these equally because both perform great giving a vape saturated with flavor, I have remained at the minimum recommended wattage for the 0.15Ω coil and see no need to increase wattage yet because the flavor is still coming through at the minimum wattage of 60watts. The 0.25Ω however works best at 45 watts for my taste buds and is the best setting for wattage that Freemax has recommended for this coil.

Having a smart mode that prevents the user from exceeding the maximum wattage for any coil is a great feature when it works correctly, trying to exceed the maximum wattage results in a Red flashing screen saying maximum wattage. Most of my testing was done in the smart mode.

I think Freemax really hit hit the ball out of the park with the development of the Marvos X Kit. Even if you hate lights on a mod the open design ergonomic hand fit and great flavor from the new CRC Tank and MS-D Coils make it a big winner in my book.

I would like to thank Tina and Freemax for providing the Marvos X 100 Kit for the purpose of my review, I hope that I answered any and all questions that you folks had.

THANK YOU

V2

hello;
was a v2 member years ago. I also kicked the cigg habit back in 2011, thanks to taking the vape plunge. I can't even say how many years I smoked, It's too humiliating to admit I was so stupid. I quit vaping about a year after I started, and since then I tried one cigg out of curiosity. INSTANT headache and queasiness.
I periodically fire up a vape. I'm posting today because of the SMART people who used vaping to quit that horrible habit, and denied Big tobacco and Big government's hold on me, and countless others.
What makes me ill are the stories I have read about the tobacco companies shifting their products to poor overseas countries as their sales here in the us have been declining.

Our government will never ban ciggs, WAY too much money involved.

FREEMAX MARVOS X 100W KIT review by hittman

Hello my friends. I’m back today with another review for you for yet another kit in the Freemax Marvos line of devices. This time I will be doing my best to cover the Freemax Marvos X. This starter kit is what I call a pod mod kit. The Marvos X comes with a 5-100 watt mod that has a pod connection on top instead of a 510 connection and includes a 5ml pod that uses the MS series of coils that are made using the CoilTech 5.0 technology in order to provide a 50% increase in flavor production. The top cap for filling is childproof but can easily be filled by an adult or at least most adults anyway. I noticed in the specifications that this one has a maximum voltage output of 4.2v so it doesn’t have a boost chip but shouldn’t be an issue since it can only use the available coils that fit the pod. Anyway, let’s see what is included and check the specs and promotional images then I’ll give my thoughts on it.

INITIAL THOUGHTS:

The packaging for the Marvos X has very vibrant colors and really grabs your attention. The front of the box shows an engineering drawing of the Marvos X and lists a series of features such as FM CoilTech 5.0 and Full Spectrum Vaping which refers to the LED lighting on the mod. There is a sticker depicting the color of the device contained inside as well as the Marvos X name near the bottom. It’s labeled as a 100 watt kit but I’m a little confused by this since it uses 18650 batteries. The Hohmtech batteries I have are only rated for 73 watts on the wrapper.

The back side of the box gives a list of specifications, contents list, authenticity label, and company information.

Once the box is opened then the mod, tank, coils, and USB-C charging cable are visible. Also included are the user guide and warranty card.
upload_2022-6-25_9-23-38.png

The pod tank included is the Marvos CRC Pod. The CRC Pod is ISO 8317 Child Resistant Certified. To fill the tank simply lift and slide the top cap to one side. It is marked where you need to slide it. It comes with an 810 drip tip with an o ring on it but there is also an o ring inside the top cap of the pod. I very much like that the CRC pod is clear so I can see the liquid level in any lighting condition. I thought it was kind of neat that you can see the blue top o rings on the coil while it is inserted into the top tube of the pod. At first I thought maybe I didn’t seat the coil properly but then realized the tube was clear like the outer shell of the pod. The CRC Pod tank allows a liquid capacity of 5ml.

The unit that I received is a review sample so it may be a little different from the retail version. Often times the review samples are built by a small team that usually doesn’t do the full production run. The pod tank has four magnets on the bottom and feel like it could use one or two more. It stays on the mod alright but when I lift the top cap to fill then it will sometimes pull the pod off the base. I feel like either the magnets need to be stronger or more of them. Also on the sample I received, the top cap has a little bit of a wiggle to it and there is a little bit of wiggle where it seats into the pod opening on the mod. I’m sure this will be corrected with the full production version.

The coils are simply pushed in place to seat in the pod tank. There aren’t any flats or anything to align on this one. The included coils are the MS-D .25 ohm coil rated for 30-50 watts and best at 45 watts. The second coil included is the MS Mesh .15 ohm coil rated for 60-80 watts and best at 75 watts. There are other coils in the MS series that are compatible and can be seen in my earlier pictures. These coils use the CoilTech 5.0/ Double-D technology for what they say is a 50% increase in flavor production. How do you measure that? I don’t know but what I do know is that just like most Freemax coils that I have tried, these coils provide exceptional flavor production. They bring out subtleties in the liquid that I used for testing that don’t come out with other coils. After all, who doesn’t like Double-D’s? Is that joke worn out yet?

Now let’s take a look at the Marvos X mod. The theme of this one is Full Spectrum Vaping. What that means is that the Marvos X is the first pod mod equipped with a fantastic lighting design that has 10 different lighting effects and multicolor and unicolor options. With this many options there is something for just about everyone. For those that don’t like lights on their mod, you can also turn them off.

The Marvos X 100W offers four output modes. They are Power, Smart, VPC, and Bypass. I think the majority of users like me just use Power mode on most mods. This one doesn’t have TC mode but really doesn’t need it. The smart mode is nice for beginners so that they don’t burn up their coils or get inferior performance.

The elaborate leather panel on the Marvos X is very nice in my opinion. I received the green version which I would normally not order that color but like it very much. The Marvos X name is stamped into the back of the leather and there are also vintage elements associated with Roman mythology stamped into the leather. There is also a light bar that wraps around the exterior of the leather if you choose to use the lighting.

upload_2022-6-25_9-27-49.png

The frame of the mod is made from zinc alloy and has a really nice design to it. On the front of the mod is see through so you can see the electronics inside. Also there are LED lights that go around the outside of the front side. That’s the full spectrum vaping that Freemax is talking about.

The front of the mod has the large fire button at the top followed by the .96” display screen, plus and minus buttons, USB-C charging port and near the bottom is the device lock switch. I’ve seen something similar on a few other mods and have to say I love that Freemax added this to their device. It makes it so much easier to just move a switch to lock the device before putting it in a pocket or purse than to try to remember the right button sequence all of the time.

The display shows the following information.

- Battery level indicator and Coil resistance

- Puff counter

- Output setting and mode of operation

- Output voltage under load

- The length of the current puff is shown while firing the mod and the display changes with the numbers as well as a scale that imitates a speedometer or something.

The button/ menu operation is as follows.

- Press the fire button 5X to turn the mod on/off

- Press the fire button and the – button to change the display color

- Press the fire button and the + button to change the LED if you have the lights turned on

- Press the + and – buttons to lock the wattage adjustment

- Press the fire button 3X to enter the menu system where you can choose between MODE, SET, and EXIT.

- Inside the MODE setting you can choose between the four modes which are POWER, SMART, VPC, and BYPASS.

- Inside the SET menu you can switch the THEME COLOR and can choose your LED settings or turn off the LED lights. You can also reset the PUFF COUNTER or reset the mod to factory settings in this sub menu.

- If you are using the SMART mode then you can press and hold the + and – buttons to automatically set the wattage to the highest setting and the words MAX POWER will display on the screen.

D7A7YHw.jpg

The top of the mod has the pod opening which has a pretty standard looking design with the two gold plated contacts for the coil and the metal ring around the outside that allows the pod magnets to have something to attach to and is secured by two torx head screws. The sample that I received seems a little over sized since the pod does move a little in the opening. The airflow adjustment is built into the pod opening and allows a very large amount of airflow. I never ran either coil more than 1/3 open.

The bottom of the mod simply has the Freemax name and Designed by Freemax printed on the bottom.

qWG8skl.jpg

IvOwJGy.jpg

The Marvos X has a C-frame design that I like very much instead of having the battery inserted from the bottom. The clear insert where the battery is inserted is illuminated when the lights are turned on. It is clearly marked with a plus and minus symbol on the plastic. The battery cover is held in place by two magnets and is very secure. I’ve experienced no movement with it.

I decided to use one of my Hohmtech batteries with this one since it is rated at a maximum of 104 watts. I do have a little bit of an issue with this mod being rated as a 100 watt mod while still using an 18650 battery. Even with a better battery I feel like you might get the 100 watt output but not for long. I would have felt better with this one stopping at 80 watts or even better if it had been able to use a 21700 battery. Honestly I would never run any mod at 100 watts because it just doesn’t match my vaping style. I think the highest I have ever run is 70-75 watts and that was just to test a review sample.

FINAL THOUGHTS:

Overall I very much enjoyed testing the Freemax Marvos X 100W kit. It was no surprise that the flavor and vapor production was very good. I feel like Freemax is well known for its superior flavor production and this one was no different. I very much liked and preferred the .25 ohm coil and felt like it ran very well at the 45 watt setting with the airflow set at about ¼ open. I had about 500 puffs on it when I switched to the second coil and the flavor production was still very good. As a matter of fact I plan on putting that coil back in after my review testing is done. The .15 ohm coil had very good flavor also and for my tastes it ran very well at 60 watts with the airflow open to 1/3. However, with this coil I kept getting a strange vibration noise while puffing. It isn’t an airflow noise. It reminds me a little of the noise made when using a mod with frequency control. I honestly don’t know if it’s an electronics noise or the coil vibrating. What I do know is that it becomes a little annoying after a while and doesn’t make me want to use that coil long term.

Yes, there was a little movement in the top cap of the pod and a little movement in the pod opening but believe this will be corrected in the production models. If you like to tinker with gadgets and like LED lighting then this is definitely the one for you. It has so many different options that I can’t imagine you not finding a lighting setting that you like whether you want to pick a moving feature like the waterfall with different colors or want a solid color not moving or even if you don’t want any lights in a certain situation then you can turn it off.

I’d like to thank Freemax and Tina for sending the Freemax Marvos X 100W kit for this review. It has been a pleasure as usual. A great big thanks to the readers that made it all the way to the end of another one of my reviews. Below is a link to the website.

► Smok G-PRIV 4 Kit; First Impressions:
SMOK G-Priv 4 230W Mod is the latest device in the G-Priv series and uses a touch screen display like the previous G-Priv 3 Mod. These versions are quite similar to each other in appearance, in fact they share a large touch screen side and a long Fire button that completely covers the front. The differences between G-Priv 4 and G-Priv 3 concern the different cell insertion system in the Mod and the use of the new IQ-M chipset. In addition, there is a slight decrease in the display measurements from 2.4 inches to the current 2.0 inches. The Smok G-Priv 4 Kit comes with the 6.5ml capacity TFV18-Mini Tank.

Smok-G-PRIV-4-Kit-230-W-8.jpg

The most noticeable change on the G-Priv 4 from its predecessors is that the leather design takes the place of the previous "IML Design". The leather decoration has been placed on the handle and laterally just where the palm of the hand is when using the device, this makes G-Priv 4 more elegant, more comfortable and with a greater grip in the grip.

Smok-G-PRIV-4-Kit-230-W-9.jpg

► Smok G-PRIV 4 Kit; Front view:
The narrow front side houses 4 triangular metal decorations in the corners which are painted in the same color as the frame and the fire button. The large fire button is made of metal and covers almost the entire space of this area, it is quite comfortable to activate. Above the Fire button we find the small Mode button which has different functions; it is used to make the screen invisible and to lock / unlock the touchscreen settings. Below is the usb-C charging socket. During use, the device keeps the two batteries balanced, balancing is performed when the levels of the two batteries are different from each other.

► Smok G-PRIV 4 Kit; Touchscreen and Operation Guide:
The large digital screen of the G-Priv 4 mod is easy to read and looks quite pleasing with its eye-catching graphics. The information on the display is complete and through the symbols that appear it becomes simple and intuitive to navigate in the modes that the chipset offers us. Various combinations of clicks on the keys and targeted touches on the screen allow us to perform the following operations:

• To turn off the device, make 5clicks on the fire button, at this point you will be asked YES or NO, type over Yes to turn off, alternatively it is possible with the settings to disable this function to be able to turn off the device directly only with the classic 5click.
• With 3 clicks on the Fire button we lock / unlock the MOD
• By long pressing the MODE key we lock / unlock the screen including the fire key.
• By briefly pressing the MODE key we obtain the Stealth mode of the display
• In the "unlocked" position of the screen and the touchscreen and using the left and right arrows at the bottom, it is possible to adjust the wattage from 5 to 230W in steps of 1W at a time.

► When the touch screen and the screen are unlocked, it is possible to enter the settings by pressing the symbol (square) at the top left of the display. Then the display shows the options; Mode, My Mode, Puff, Seting, Exit.
• VW Mode: 4 different types of soft / norm / hard / max preheat can be selected
• Tc Mode: 1) choose the material by pressing NI / TI / SS 2) Press the Touch + or - keys to adjust the best temperature of the TCR setting. 3) Press the Touch + or - keys to adjust the preheat from 10 to 230W, by default it is set at 60W.
• My Mode: it is possible to memorize and save 4 different profiles that take into account; Potency, Prehit, Flavor and nicotine concentration in the e-liquid.
• Puff: By entering this screen it is possible to reset or adjust the limit in the number of puffs (9999 by default) or to have no limit just select 0.

► System setting: The setting system is divided into three parts:
1) General setting this function indicates general information on the device, on its name, on the software version, on the firmware, on its origin. It is possible to restore it to the factory data or select the type of shutdown of the Mod (whether with confirmation or direct).
2) Chip: The dispay shows the information of the IQ-M control board.
3) Theme Setting: you can select 6 background colors (blue, purple, orange, yellow, white and green) you can also adjust the automatic shutdown time of the display from 15s to 240s.

► Smok G-PRIV 4 Kit; Elegant decorations:
G-PRIV 4 Kit is currently offered in 4 different frame colors, each combined with a specific color of the tank and decorative leather elements in different colors. The "G-Priv 4" branding is large and eye-catching, hot stamped on the skin. The handle of the Mod is decorated with vertical stitching and with the writing "Designed By Smok".
I like all 4 versions and I am happy to have received them in bulk, if I had to choose one I would be really embarrassed, they are all beautiful.

► Smok G-PRIV 4 Kit; Thread 510:
The stainless steel cup is raised slightly to prevent scratching the Mod. Fixed via 3 French screws and contains a gold / plated floating pin. The Mod G-Priv 4 can accommodate atomizers of up to 26 / 27mm diameter without external protrusion.

Smok-G-PRIV-4-Kit-230-W-14.jpg

► Smok G-PRIV 4 Kit; Battery compartment:
On the bottom of the Mod there is a door to access the battery compartment. The flap is made of sturdy metal and can be lifted via a convenient slide button to introduce two 18650 cells following the polarities marked inside. The bottom of the mod also houses the UK, CA and C E branding.

Smok-G-PRIV-4-Kit-230-W-15.jpg

► Smok Tank TFV18-Mini:
Smok's wide range of sub-ohm TFV tanks have always been characterized by using high quality stainless steel and Pyrex glass, this version is slightly smaller than the original giant TFV18 but retains an interesting 6.5 e-liquid capacity ml. According to Smok the recommended output power for using TFV18-mini is between 80-140W (best 100 - 110W).

Smok-G-PRIV-4-Kit-230-W-16.jpg

The tank can be completely disassembled for careful periodic cleaning of all its components. The knurling around the base and the top-cap is very useful for easily unscrewing the deck from the tank, in addition, a large amount of spare orings are available in the kit. The top sliding filling mechanism includes child safety, so you need to press the button and turn the top-cap counterclockwise. The refill slot is generously sized (12 x 4mm) and does not provide any membrane to protect this port. On the bottom there is the plated / gold pin that conducts the current to 5 copper braces inside the base to better conduct the current to the coil. The AFC system has 3 adjustable slots of 10x3.5mm each, these slots are able to pass a considerable air flow and direct it quickly towards the coil for a rather satisfying RDL / DL vape.

Smok-G-PRIV-4-Kit-230-W-17.jpg

Smok-G-PRIV-4-Kit-230-W-18.jpg

► Smok TFV18-Mini; Platform Coil:
Everyone knows the large capacity of "Mesh" type coils in spreading heat over a much larger area of cotton than traditional coils. This mesh solution has currently proven to be the best for flavor perception and the production of large vapor clouds. For this reason Smok makes great use of it on its Sub-ohm tanks. The coils of the TFV18 Mini have been slightly reduced in size compared to the incredibly large ones of the original TFV16 and TFV18 tanks, however we are always talking about rather large coils on this version too. During the start-up phase of a new heating element, it is therefore mandatory to moisten the cotton abundantly with e-liquid before using it to avoid dry burn.

The TFV 18-Mini Tank is a high performance sub-ohm atomizer that works well in the Cloud and has good liquid capacity. In the G-Priv 4 kit there are 2 Mesh Coil V18 Mini; a 0.15Ω Dual Meshed and a 0.33Ω Single-mesh Pre-installed. The third 0.2Ω coil can be purchased separately

Smok-G-PRIV-4-Kit-230-W-19.jpg

► Smok G-PRIV 4 Kit; Final conclusions:
The G-PRIV 4 dual battery Mod is solid and extremely attractive with excellent finishes and fine decorations. The Mod turns out slightly taller than the previous G-Priv3 model. However it is holds well in the hand, the weight is felt but isn't excessive. G-priv 4 weighs 165g without cells, about 20g less than the previous model.

In daily use, the large Fire button is comfortable to click and never tires. The beautiful touchscreen display offers quick and intuitive navigation assisted by the convenient Mode button. In addition, the touchscreen display can be deactivated for energy saving and can be changed in 6 different background colors, it also has a well-readable and sporty graphics.
The battery compartment is accessible and well insulated thanks to a spring loaded flap that opens / closes perfectly. The renewed IQ-M chipset proves to be stable and performing by delivering power continuously. The charge of the cells during use is "self-balanced" for greater autonomy.

The TFV18 Mini is a tank with a stainless steel construction, it is simple, robust, reliable and comfortable to fill up to 6.5ml. The system with release button is an excellent safety against accidental opening of the top cap. The Mesh-Coils included in the package are exaggeratedly performing and dimensionally large with a lot of cotton inside them, so you need to feed them well before starting to produce copious and dense clouds of steam.
Setting aside the 0.15Ω Dual Mesh Coil V18 Mini in FeCrAl with range 80-110W and best indicated at 90W mi, I found myself using with pleasure the surprising 0.33Ω Mesh Coil V18 Mini in FeCrAl with range 80-140W ! Best shown 100-110W! Frightening! I stopped at lower powers around 90 / 100W with satisfactory use already starting from the minimum recommended power. In fact, the great reaction speed of the Mesh allows it to be used at "only" 80W and with profit in terms of flavor production with dense clouds of vapor. The e-liquid leak resistance seems effective and I have not registered any flooding during use so far.

In conclusion I recommend Smok G-PRIV 4 with TFV18-Mini, I consider it an excellent kit for the demanding "cloud hunters" for the series of reasons you have read and for the price that will be quite attractive on some shops.

Thanks to Smok for sending me this sample for review.

LINVO VBAR CUBO PRO vs ELUX LEGEND 3500

Disposable vapes have quickly become the most popular style of e-cigarette over these few years. Thus, LINVO, a vape brand that focus on producing disposable vapes was born on demand. Even though disposable vapes have been around for over a decade, it’s only in recent years that technology has really pushed their performance to another level. Nowadays disposable vapes are designed to have larger batteries, better coils, and can put out more power and vapor to meet more customers’ needs. LINVO product lines have met all these needs.

LINVO was also named VBAR before, and it has released 8 products by now. Today we are going to particularly introduce the LINVO VBAR CUBO PRO, which is the first product that greatly builds up LINVO's brand reputation in the international vaping market.

linvo-vbar-cubo-pro-2_Wnlg2.jpeg

Design & Appearance
For appearance, LINVO VBAR CUBO PRO features the cuboid square tube shape, which may remind you of the ELUX LEGEND 3500, a very hot disposable vape in UK. Compared with ELUX LEGEND 3500, the LINVO VBAR CUBO PRO offers more comfortable grip. Made of high-level rubber paint material, it gives you soft hand feeling.

comparison_1WyAA.jpeg

What makes the CUBO PRO stand out from other disposable vapes most is that it utilizes the advanced MESH Atomizing Tech(VAMT), which ensures smooth taste & huge vapor. You can enjoy massive cloud on your every puff because one puff from CUBO PRO is equal to 2 puffs from other disposable vapes.

linvo-vbar-cubo-pro-1_WqeZd.jpeg

Specifications of LINVO VBAR CUBO PRO:
Size: 20 x 20 x 112.5mm
Capacity: 8ml
Nic-Concentrate: 5%(FDA)/ 2%(Russian)
Resistance: 1.2ohm Mesh
Battery: 1100mAh
Puffs: 3000 Max

Compared with ELUX LEGEND 3500 puffs, LINVO VBAR CUBO PRO provides fewer puffs and smaller battery capacity. However, the LINVO VBAR CUBO PRO can offer a better vaping experience with its mesh coil. If you used to use ELUX LEGEND 3500, we really suggest you have a try for CUBO PRO.
