However on this occasion I got to admit I was proven a little bit wrong... Well not just a little bit wrong I was proving VERY wrong. With the gold package I received i got 4 bottles 70/30 vg/pg juices each with 20mg salt shots,

► Freemax Marvos S 80W Kit; First impressions:
The Freemax Marvos S 80W Mod is robustly built with Zinc Alloy + Stainless Steel is powered by a single 18650 battery with a maximum output of 80W. I really like the side display which is a good size and quite bright. For the rest, the style of Marvos S 80W kit is directly inspired in shape and size by the famous and legendary "Pico", the result is an attractive, solid, manageable Mod with excellent finishes and a weight of only 115g. . I was sent the sample with Black-Black coloring and red stitching, I find it very sober and elegant.



► Freemax Marvos S 80W Kit; Side view:
The bright 0.96 "TFT color screen is installed laterally above the rocker arm which incorporates the +/- adjustment keys. This solution allows to reduce the size of the Mod and to facilitate its use in an intuitive way for the user. Through the display you get all the basic information, such as; battery level, voltage, power, resistance, puff counter / timer, as well as your display choices with the interlacing of colors you prefer.

About two-thirds of the Marvos Mod's side surface is covered in leather which is stitched around the sturdy zinc alloy and stainless steel body. I must add that this is one of the few cases where I think leather could actually be real leather.

At the top there is a large oval-shaped metal button for switching on and off. The key is comfortable to reach with your fingers. The 5V / 2A USB Type-C charging port is positioned at the bottom and allows you to keep the mod in an upright position while charging.
The leather decoration with its red stitching extends to the back of the Mod, the handle is comfortable and pleasant in the hand.



► Freemax Marvos S 80W Kit; Top and bottom view:
The 510 plate is screwed to the Mod with torx screws and offers excellent hospitality without protrusions to any Tank within 25mm of maximum diameter. The thread has a smooth and flowing thread, the 510 pin is gold plated and spring loaded. The sturdy metal cap is easily unscrewed / screwed, the compartment / battery collar is cleverly raised to prevent e-liquid infiltration. On the bottom of the compartment / battery there is the `` + '' symbol for the correct direction of insertion of the 18650 cell.

The bottom of the Mod offers a stable support base and on its surface there are various identifying writings. There are also three vent holes on the bottom for user safety.



► Freemax Marvos DTL Pod Tank 4.5ml:
The Pod Tank Marvos DTL Sub Ohm is made of PCTG and derives from that of Marvos T. The design of the transparent PCTG cartridge is of the "circular" type and uses the refill from below through a port hidden by the classic silicone cap, this pod you can introduce up to 4.5ml of e-liquid which allow a good autonomy of vape before refilling again.



FreeMax has created for this Pod-Tank a 510 metal adapter with an "infinite" type AFC adjustment ring that offers a large air flow towards the coil, the purpose of freemax is to maintain the excellent performance of the Fireluke tanks. On this module there are also a replaceable anti spit-back Drip-Tip 810 and new dedicated coils. The coils are inserted under pressure from the bottom and the magnetic connection between the cartridge and the 510 base is very strong, on the cartridge there are 4 powerful magnets that guarantee a solid anchorage.

I much rather vape than smoke, hate smelling like an ashtray , yellow fingers etc yuch .
By potentially banning vaping they would , in their minds, force us back to smoking.

I am new here and also new to vaping. My husband uses nic salt liquid, but having never even smoked anything before, I didn't want to get into nicotine use. I want to vape to have something to do with him when he does, or when he has a cigar, or just to relax and enjoy a nice flavor.
I did some YouTube watching and some review reading and I went to my local vape shop and told them what I was looking for. I ended up with the Smok novo 2. And a bottle of Fruit Monster 0mg juice.
Maybe it's because this is my first ever vape experience but I am getting barely any flavor from this. My vape kit came with a 1.0 ohm mesh pod, and a 1.4 coil pod. The one the store told me to try first was the 1.0 mesh. My juice is 75/25 vg/pg blend.
If my juice too thick for the coil? I'm getting crazy dense vapor which is nice, the vapor itself is warm. But like crazy muted flavor to where I really can't tell the flavor at all.
Am I just so new that my expectations were too high going into this? Is this normal? Am I using the wrong pod? Did I buy the wrong device for my needs? Maybe I need to buy a different juice? Or just say what the heck and try hubby's 2.5mg nic salt stuff. Any help is appreciated.
I plan tp try steeping my juice for a little and see if that helps, or just get a different brand and flavor (menthol maybe?) And try the other pod.

Hello again. I’m here with another review for Sourcemore. This time I was sent the Uwell Valyrian 3 kit in order to provide a fair and honest review. The Valyrian kit contains the mod that uses dual 18650 batteries and has an output range of 5-200 watts. It boasts lightning fast firing speed and offers Power and TCR modes as well as a .96” color screen. The included tank has a liquid capacity of 6ml which you’re going to need with the included high output coils rated 80-85 watts and 80-90 watts. The tank also has a different type of top cap that flips open instead of unscrewing. I doubt I’ll be running them consistently that high so hopefully they operate at a little lower ranges also. The nice looking mod, 6ml tank, and the Pro Focs flavor testing technology leads me to believe that this is going to be an enjoyable experience. Follow along and we’ll see if that ends up being the case.

INITIAL THOUGHTS:

I have to hand it to Uwell. They did a really nice job on not only the promotional materials but also on the packaging for the Valyrian 3 and the appearance of the Valyrian mod. On the front of the box is a very nice picture of the Valyrian and the text is in a font that lends itself to a medieval theme. That and the statement “The Power of Fire” reminds me of game of thrones or something like that.

On the back is the package contents but instead of the usual listing, they included some cool little pictures to keep with the medieval theme. Also listed is the company information and contact information.

In my opinion the Valyrian is really a gorgeous mod. The same text type that was used on the box is used to put the name at the top on the front of the mod. Under that is a square fire button that is pretty clicky. Going down from there is the color display, plus and minus buttons, and the USB-C charging/update port near the bottom. I really like the combination of the metal frame and brown leather with a scale like pattern. The leather sides are slightly padded. The color display is nice but feel like the font could have been a little larger. It is however fairly easy to read. The display shows the following information.

- Two battery level indicators

- Mode of operation

- Set wattage

- Output voltage and coil resistance

- Puff counter and length of current puff

- A cool little dragon emblem

The menu operation is as follows.

- Press the fire button 5 times to turn on/off

- Press the fire button 3 times to enter the mode selection where you can choose from Power or TCR. The selection will exit after 8 seconds

- Press the fire button and the – button to lock the device

- Press the fire button and the + button to lock only the adjustment buttons

- Press the + and – buttons to clear the puff counter.



I saw this in the user manual and thought it was odd.

“Attention: The output voltage will decrease gradually during vaping. When the output

wattage cannot reach the set wattage, the device will lower the wattage automatically,

and then the screen will display the output voltage after automatically adjusting the wattage.”

The leather is only on the sides and on the back is an odd plastic type material that to me gives

the appearance of a dragon scale or something and is enclosed in the same shape of frame as

what is found on the front. It’s a little comical but I didn’t realize until I was at work and decided

to plug the mod in that the slots in the back light up. The way that I hold the mod to fire it, I had

never noticed that the lights turned on since that side is in the palm of my hand.

The bottom of the mod carries the Uwell name and has a series of six slots with three holes in each for battery venting. To load or change the batteries simply slide the button on the bottom and the door will open on a hinge. The underside of the door is marked clearly with the battery polarity as well as the inside of the unit has + and – signs. I had zero issues with the batter door while using the mode and it seems sturdy.

I thought it was a really nice touch that the 510 connection plate has a picture of a dragon etched into it. Just one of those small details that makes a difference. It’s too bad you won’t see it once the tank is installed.

The Valyrian 3 tank has a liquid capacity of 6ml which is good because you need it. All of the coils for this tank are rated 80w+. The included coils are the SS316 UN2 .32 ohm coil rated at 80-85 watts while the FeCrAl UN2-2 .14 ohm coil is rated at 80-90 watts. I’m not sure why the redundancy. I personally would have like to seen one rated somewhere around 50-60 watts which is a more comfortable range for me. I found it interesting that Uwell decided to go with coils that thread in rather than the simple push in style we have been seeing on most tanks lately.

The Valyrian 3 tank is fairly attractive in appearance but the one issue I have with it is how the top cap opens to refill. There is a button on the side that you push so that the top springs open. That spring pivot point doesn’t seem all that sturdy to me and could see it getting broken. The Valyrian name is etched on the button so it is easy to locate.

The base of the tank appears to be gold plated inside with three outer connection points to make connection with the bottom of the coils. The base also has three slotted airflow openings which provide plenty of airflow for just about any user. With the .32 coil running at 72 watts I still only had the airflow open about ¼ of the way.

FINAL THOUGHTS:

I have enjoyed testing the Uwell Valyrian 3 kit. The mod has a really nice appearance and seems to work very well. It is a little wide but I have found that I hold it much like I do with the Abyss and use the side of my thumb to press the fire button. I don’t have large hands so am guessing that the average user would be able to hold this one comfortably. I do feel like the back side of the mod is unnecessary and will have some effect on battery life. I saw in the user manual that is suggested to use batteries with a minimum current rating of 30A. Normally it is not recommended to charge batteries inside a mod but also in the manual it said to use a 5V/2A charger. I’d say it’s still better to not charge the batteries in the mod if you have a choice.

I have mixed emotions about the Valyrian 3 tank. I do like the appearance and at first thought it was a nice idea with the way the top of the tank flips open with a button press. However after thinking about it for a while and seeing how the top cap kind of loosely flops around when you have the top open then it got me to thinking that it might be pretty easy to break that hinge point if it got hit on something.

I felt like the tank and provided coils produced pretty good flavor. I would probably give it a 7.75 out of 10 in the flavor department. It does however deliver very large amounts of vapor that will fill a room in no time and therefore goes through liquid fairly quickly. I have to admit that I never run as high as these coils are rated on any of my normally used mods and tanks so this one was a bit of a stretch for me. I did end up running the coils in the 70-75 watt range with the airflow around ¼ open but if I chain vaped the vapor just got warmer than I like it. For this reason I would have liked to have seen a coil in the 50 watt range.

Hello there newbee here. Thanks for the welcome.

After several years away, I am back onto working on some theatrical smoke generating projects. I actually have on back-order an E-cig mod with a fan, to make it a fog machine for theatrical and photographic uses. It is the MicroFogger by Vosentech. It can be remotely controlled, both by a wired button, and a wireless controller.

It has a lot of great features, but I have some things I would like to see on it... I wish the atomizer could be moved away from the battery box. And I would love to have a way to integrate a LED light source at the fog output, and have that light controlled by the mod.

So, I am hunting to see if I can find a mod, that I can purchase complete, but is easy to hack. I.e. I would need to open it up, and wire in some sort of remote trigger. It would need to have some available outputs from the microcontroller, that I can use to trigger other things, like a LED light. And of course, you need a bit of free space to run the new wires. And of course, it would need to be done with a microcontroller that can be re-programmed. Perhaps Arduino based.

I realize I can start from scratch, and there are a bunch of tutorials about doing that. But, first I would like to check out if there is anything already on the market that I can purchase already put together. Note that I would want to do at least 50 watts, and more likely 100 watts.

Hi all.
I'm new to vaping, brand new .
I just received the Ego AIO kit in the mail and I'm trying to set it up.
I followed youtube tutorial videos to help.
I added 8 drops to the coil (in the hole), screwed the coil on the top part again .
Filled the tank till just under max.
Also charged it till the red light went out.

Clicked the button five times, it lights up , I suck air but there's no vapor?
none whatsoever. So what could I be doing wrong?

I was worried that this would happen
I hope someone can help.

Also, I'd love a beginners kit that clearly indicates whether the device is on or off, or at least a beginners kit that turns on/off a bit less fussy

Why are they pushing a ban on vaping and not cigarettes?

I purchased this from the classies here recently, since I rationalized that for the great price, it would be crazy not to grab it as a back up for my other 21700 75C Spade. After thinking about it more, I decided that I really don't need duplicates of everything, and it's time to let some gear go, including this one.

This 75C Spade 21700 is in great previously-owned condition. There is some scratching around the 510 connector, which is normal, and not seen with an RDA installed anyhow. Included is the Spade 75C 21700, original box, 18650 adapter tube, and spare bottle with the sweet VA keychain holder.

I have changed the original VA theme since I like more in-depth info displayed, but upon request, will switch it back before shipping. Regardless, the original VA 75C Spade theme is available on Evolv's forums, along with many other choices, and it's fairly easy to change using escribe.

I will also include another recently manufactured resin panel with magnets straight from VA (a $50.00 value). This particular Spade 21700 is an early serial numbered version which VA did not initially make with magnets.
