Univapo Symba RDA Mesh Coil-Single-Dual-Triple Coil

Univapo Symba RDA Mesh Coil-Single / Dual / Triple Coil

Univapo is a fast growing new vaporizer manufacturer. With few product lines but each worthy, Univapo continues to focus on what customers require, dedicating itself to bringing reliable products to market.

After having achieved some success with the previous items intended for beginners (Zumix, Unico, Unix) Univapo now turns its attention to advanced users.
At the beginning of November, Univapo released its fourth product, it is an innovative hybrid RDA called Symba, its Deck has an enviable functionality; is the first in the world to support both mesh coil and regular coil installations, without replacing or rotating any parts.

Enjoy the reading

Packaging:
Symba RDA arrives in a cardboard package whose outer sleeve shows on its surfaces: The Univapo logo, the image and name of the product, the packing list, the specifications, the social addresses of the brand, the address of the manufacturer, some warnings and the scratch & check for the safety check.

Once the external sleeve has been removed, the contents of the package are accessed, the valuable gull-wing opening is magnetic, the internal arrangement of the elements exploits the small space available in a rational way.

Package contents:
1 X Univapo Symba RDA
1 X Bending Tool
1 X Multifunctional "T" Screwdriver
3 X Cotton Strip
1 X 0.25Ω MESH
2 X Normal Coil of 0.5Ω
1 X Spare part envelope
1 X User Manual

3.jpg

Univapo Symba RDA main features:
Height: 23mm
Diameter: 25mm
Weight: 38gr
Construction material: SS
Drip Tip: 810 anti-condensation

The device in terms of height measures only 23mm with an average diameter of 25mm. Supported the fit of type 810 Drip-Tip, the mouthpiece is equipped with a system to prevent the accumulation of condensation, according to Univapo the inverted groove prevents condensation from entering the mouth.

4.jpg

The Symba RDA is mainly made of stainless steel and is available in a specific design, which is distinguished by three different colors of the side skirt:
Blue, gun and rainbow.

5.jpg

Air-flow system:

The outer sleeve is free to rotate 360 ° and features two opposing AFCs, with a diameter of 12x3mm.

The internal bell is equipped with a sturdy green o'ring that guarantees its sealing with the external sleeve, Symba RDA adopts two types of air-flow; the first type of ventilation has a honeycomb design with two rows of 10 opposed holes (total 20 holes), the second type of ventilation adopts a classic 12x3mm conventional opposed slot system.

The bell has a four-tooth interlocking system, they fit on as many grooves on the deck, this system prevents rotation during the positioning of the RDA on the Mod, allowing the outer sleeve to rotate completely to obtain the best adjustment of the 'air. To change the AFC arrangement from honeycomb to classic, simply raise the bell / sleeve and place it back on the deck in a different position.

6.jpg

Hybrid Deck:

This system is truly ingenious, in fact it involves the simultaneous use of a conventional postless deck and a mesh deck.

The turrets with "V" shaped allows you to install the legs and cut them easily after fixing, with its four fixing points it allows to obtain different types of builds; single, dual triple coil.

The "Mesh System Deck" is composed of a thrust spring which acts on a ceramic material cushion, the correct positioning of the cotton is thus guaranteed. The mesh-coil is fixed via two side plates.

To tighten the different types of coils, Univapo used slotted screws.

The main feature of Symba RDA's unusual multi-functional deck is to offer vapers many options for wrapping their Coils. Thus, the Dripper supports the installation of one Mesh Coil, one single large Coil, two Coils, three Coils and even one Mesh together with two Coils! ... Such a construct has never been offered by any manufacturer before.

- A spiral
- Two spirals
- Three spirals
- Mesh
- Two spirals + mesh

7.jpg

The upper edge of the tank has four grooves (previously mentioned) for locking the bell, externally there are two o'ring to obtain a perfect seal.

The bottom of the atom shows the writings; Symba and "designed by Univapo", there are logos, brands and a progressive number, the contact Pin is plated / gold and can be unscrewed.

Unfortunately I have not found any perforated BF Pin in the packaging of this new Symba RDA, is it possible that Univapo has forgotten? We hope it includes it in the final version, making those who want to use this RDA with Squonk Mod a great pleasure.

8.jpg

Symba RDA is a completely removable dripper, for a better cleaning of the elements.

If desired, during reassembly it is possible to install only the classic postless deck, avoiding to reassemble the mesh system (spring, ceramic cushion, plates), this will slightly increase the liquid capacity of the tank, but will limit the vaping variants to use, only classic coils in this case.

Both decks are adequately insulated with peek, peek is present in the rectangular casting mold on the bottom.

9.jpg

Build:

I tried different configurations appreciating the ease of regeneration especially in single and dual coils, in truth it is not difficult even to regenerate in triple coils, but to generate a correct simultaneous heating of the resistors this operation requires a little more attention, with the "triple" configuration coil "i removed the elements that make up the supports for the Mesh-coil obtaining a greater liquid capacity of the tank.

The installation of the mesh is easy, the spring pushes the cotton well, the plates move and tighten well, however some experience is required to not get dry pulls, the cotton must adhere perfectly to the mesh, I do not know the range of use of these resistors, I started at 15w and then settled at 30W.

A combination I haven't tried yet is to use 2 coils + 1 mesh, but I'll do it soon.

New Member/New VooPoo Drag S

Yesterday I bought a VooPoo Drag S, along with American Patriots juice by Naked. My initial impression is that is didn't really provide the cigar like tobacco taste I was hoping for. Plus I can still detect some sweetness, which I don't care for at all, but I guess that is the case with all juices. So I'm going to look around for a juice that is more what I want. I am/was a weekend cigar smoker, and that was put to a half due to dental implant surgery, and the permanent denture prosthesis won't go in for another four to six months. So vaping is taking the place of cigars for now. Which brings me to a couple of questions as a newb:

How often should I be cleaning the pod and tip? I didn't use my Drag S that much yesterday (22 puffs?) but noticed some condensation inside the pod tip. I cleaned off the outside of the pod tip with alcohol on a cotton square, and used a cotton squab to clean around inside the tip. There was a light brown residue already. Glad I don't inhale!

When I want to change the juice in my pod, besides emptying it out, is there is special procedure for cleaning inside the reservoir? And what else should I be cleaning? I am going to be a weekend only vaper, and then only in the late afternoon/early evening while enjoying a beverage. Basically two hours a day, taking occasional draws (like I did with my cigars).

The salesman at the vape shop I bought my Drag S said something about keeping it sitting upright, and if I weren't going to be using it for a couple of days, take the pod off. When doing so, should the pod sit tip/mouthpiece up or down?

Thanks!

Vaporesso Luxe PM40 Pod Kit - Review

Hi ECF members, In this review i take a look at the Luxe PM40 Pod Kit from Vaporesso. The Luxe PM40 Pod Kit was supplied for the purpose of this review by Jasmine from Vaporesso.

LUXE PM40 » Vaporesso

Introduction

Vaporesso have become giants of the vaping industry with it's parent company Smoore being the first Chinese vaping company to be floated on the stock markets back in July and their shares have tripled since then so at least not all news around vaping is doom and gloom!

The Luxe PM40 is their latest Pod device coming with a Nord type palm size form factor and one button control for both firing and wattage adjustment as well as accommodating their ever growing GTX family of coil heads. With a neat top-fill design, adjustable airflow and whopping (for it's size) 1800mAh battery let's give the Luxe PM40 a good look!

___________________________________________________________________

In The Box

2 x 4ml LUXE PM40 Cartridge (2ml TPD Version)
1 x GTX 0.6ohm MESH COIL
1 x GTX 0.8ohm MESH COIL
1 x Type-C USB Cable
1 x User Manual
1 X Warranty Card

___________________________________________________________________

Aesthetics and Ergonomics

The Luxe PM40 came in cardboard box packaging with outer cardboard sleeve and on opening i found everything neatly packaged in one layer with each item having it's own compartment. I received the Jade design which refers to the design of the front and back panel, the options are Black, Jade, Lava, Silver or Carbon Fiber.

As mentioned it has a form factor similar to the Nord but with more curvy panels and slightly thicker body and i can certainly see the Luxe/Revenger look to the device and is just as well made using the same Zinc Alloy main chassis and IML panels to give high resolution designs with a transparent protective coating!

The device is palm size but quite thick to accommodate the 1800mAh battery and feels substantial in the hand, it actually feels really nice, ergonomic and has some reassuring weight without being too heavy! On the front we have a protruding horizontally positioned oval fire/adjustment button central towards the top which has a matt Silver face then chrome edging and central tiny round indentation.

Moving to one side we have a central elongated screen, then towards the top one airflow slot and a dummy slot, towards the bottom is a type C USB port. The opposite side is plain apart from 2 airflow slots towards the top, moving to the base we have printed branding and safety stamps. On the rear of the device towards the top we have a slot with small circular flat faced lever for adjusting airflow which aesthetically is very similar to on the XROS but it executes airflow adjustment differently. Up top we have the protruding clear pod with Black duckbill mouthpiece! Very nice looking device!!!!!!

___________________________________________________________________

The Pod

The Luxe PM40 has a clear pod with frosted bottom section (e-liquid isn't stored in this section) and a solid Black duckbill mouthpiece which is removeable to allow the pod to be filled. The standard pod holds 4ml of e-liquid and the TPD pod 2ml, removing the mouthpiece which is done by pressing it from the front and it pops off reveals a round fill port with self sealing silicone membrane and on the opposite side a small hole to allow air to escape. The top-fill method Vaporesso have used before and no surprise it's revisited as it is very quick to fill and mess free!

On the sides of the pod we have protruding sections to clip the pod in the bay and moving to the base the round opening for the coil head to be press fitted into place.

___________________________________________________________________

The Coil Heads

The Luxe PM40 uses the GTX PnP style coil heads of which 4 are compatible. The coil head just gets press fitted into place you just need to make sure the straight edges are lined up with the front and back of the pod and rounded edges to the sides. The two included coils are both Kanthal mesh and are the 0.6ohm coil head rated between 20w to 30w and the 0.8ohm coil head which is rated between 12w to 20w.

The 2 coil heads included differ from the previous 0.6ohm and 0.8ohm GTX coil heads by having an extra O-ring lower down. This gives the coil head a total of 3 sealing O-rings and also the e-liquid only stays stored in the top section of the pod where it wicks the coil head. The lower section between the 2 bottom O-rings has a self-circulation system which recycles escaping e-liquid rather than it escaping into the pod bay!

Not all the GTX coil head family are compatible but as well as the 2 included coil heads we also have both mesh and regular 1.2ohm coil heads for MTL options, you do lose the bottom O-ring on the other compatible coil heads but with the upper bottom O-ring and self-circulation system the pod will still be leak resistant, see below for coil head compatibility:

___________________________________________________________________

Fitting The Pod

On either side of the pod we have protruding clips with outer protruding tabs which dig into the inner silicone lining when the pod is inserted and i have to say it's much more secure than it sounds and takes quite a tug to remove, the pod has no movement whatsoever when installed!

Looking into the pod bay it's very neat and tidy, we have the central Gold plated, spring loaded contacts and the inner perimeter has a silicone lining which hides what's going on with how the airflow operates.

Once the pod is inserted and filled we have a thin viewing section front and back but at the sides the device tapers down to give a much larger viewing area and with the pod being clear you can see your juice level at all times without needing to remove the pod!

___________________________________________________________________

The Airflow

On the rear of the device we have a slot and a lever with a flat round head which can be moved right and left. The slot itself has a wall behind it as air doesn't enter through this slot but rather the lever is mechanically moving the side slots open and shut, moving the lever to the right is opening them and moving to the left shutting them and obviously they can be as much open as you require.

The weird thing is we have 2 adjustable slots one side but the other side only the top one is a slot and the bottom an indentation to keep an aesthetic symmetrical look but why only one slot one side and two the other has me baffled!

___________________________________________________________________

Display

The display on the Luxe PM40 is very old school but both bright and sharp. Top left we have the resistance and then bottom left the puff counter which shows puff duration while pressing the fire button. Central we have the wattage followed by the unit "w" and above the unit a closed padlock which disappears when unlocking to allow wattage adjustment. Top right we have the battery status bar and then underneath the status shown as a percentage which will please many as usually Vaporesso displays do show the percentage but within the status bar making it difficult to see so this is much better!

___________________________________________________________________

Operating The Device

The Luxe PM40 is the usual 5 clicks of the fire button within 2 seconds to switch on and the same to shut down. When switching on the device the wattage will be set to what you were last using before shutting down but the device has smart wattage so when the pod is removed and then put back into the device it will give a suitable wattage around the middle of the coil heads recommended wattage range so for example with the 0.8ohm coil head it adjusts to 18w.

By default the button is locked as a wattage adjustment button so when pressed it fires the device, this status is also shown on the screen by a closed padlock. To unlock press the button 3 times quickly and the padlock disappears and now instead of the button firing the device each press increases the wattage in 1W increments, holding the button down speeds it up.

The device adjusts from 5w to 40w and round robins as this is needed because it only adjusts one way so if you overshoot the wattage you want by a couple of watts instead of just going back 2 watts you have to scroll all the way to 40w and then use the round robin feature to start again at 5W, a con? yes but not a deal breaker! When unlocked so acting as a wattage adjustment button no activity for 3 seconds causes the button to lock and the padlock reappears and the button is back to being the fire button! That's it as far as operating the device goes because we only have the one button which means no combo button features so the puff counter can't be reset but it only goes up to "999" and then goes back to "000".

A lot of these smaller devices although they have adjustable wattage don't have voltage boosting so it only gives you the set wattage if it's within the batteries voltage capabilities so depending on what voltage you are using for the wattage set you can get a drop off in power like with a direct output device. The Luxe PM40 though does have some voltage boosting like the buck boost system which they call Turbo boosting so if you notice any drop in power at all it will only be in the last about 10% of the battery life up until then you will get stable wattage!

Charging

The device is charged via the Type C USB port and it has a claimed 2A charge rate which allows the device to charge in 1 hour although that hasn't been my experience. Even if switched off when the charge cable is plugged in the device displays the working screen with the battery status bar now becoming a charging progress bar and the charge also given underneath as a percentage, while charging the device supports pass-through.

How It Vapes? And Thoughts!

Firstly although subjective i find the Luxe PM40 very pleasing to the eye and what isn't subjective is the top-notch build quality, this is made from the same materials and just as well as the full size standard Luxe devices!

I like the airflow design and any airflow adjustability is a big plus on a pod system and this does work as if you take a vape fully closed, half way and then fully open you can tell the increased airflow with each vape. However there is air leakage when fully closed so a loose MTL is as tight as it goes (maybe a mid to loose if you source one of the 1.2ohm coil heads) and this isn't as airy of a device as something like the Drag X for example so really between fully closed to fully open isn't a massive difference just going from a loose MTL to a restricted direct lung draw but then a lot of vapers do vape in this draw zone which is why devices like the Caliburn are still so popular!

The fire button is very nice, the device fires with absolutely no delay and the Turbo Boosting gave a great consistent vape, personally i didn't notice any drop off even when the battery was weak! Using the same button for both firing and adjusting wattage and how it's been executed is a great innovative feature but it does limit to only being able to adjust one way which isn't a deal breaker for a 40W device but would be a big con if the same design was done with a more powerful device!

I love the tried and tested top-fill design on the pod and with the pod being both clear and plenty of the pod on show especially at the sides i could see my juice level at all times so you only ever need to remove the pod for a coil change. I did remove the pod on other occasions just to monitor how Vaporesso's claim to a leak resistant pod was going and i haven't even had condensation, the bay throughout testing remained bone dry!!!!!!!

Another claim though i do dispute and although having type C USB is a pro every time i charged it took about an hour and a half which i make a max charge rate of 1.5A (about par) and not the charged in an hour 2A charge rate claimed, it definitely isn't 2A!

I am a big fan of the GTX coil heads and cross compatibility is a big plus although for this device only 4 of the coil heads are compatible which are the 2 included plus both a mesh and regular MTL coil head, for a 40W device though it's well covered!

I find all the GTX coil heads give above average flavour and both supplied coils in the Luxe PM40 gave really good flavour. The 0.8ohm coil head i found great and warm enough for me at just 15W with airflow closed down for a loose MTL this also with the impressive (relative to device size) battery capacity gave cracking battery life! The 0.6ohm coil head i had the airflow about three quarters open for a very restricted direct lung draw and i found this best at 25W. It also needs pointing out what a smooth draw it gives, it really does give a fantastic vape!

To put things into prospective in regard how i like the device and that's most devices of this nature i don't test as my main device as i am an RTA vaper and really don't enjoy vaping stock coils for a period of time. I did test this along with other devices which is my usual method but also found i was happy using this as a main device which i did do for a couple of days which is something i just don't usually do with a pod style device but i just really like both the flavour and draw it gives and it feels such a nice device in the hand!

Creating coil wire, or find what i need.

Okay so my target is to get .12 ohms consistently, doesn't fall apart, 3mm diameter, 4 loops. Fralien has one I find is best for my needs. However, the cool down time is too long and its still cooking that wicking, because the size of the coil outside diameter.

I've tried a few coils, like this wire mesh stuff, 4 loops, 3mm etc, .14 ohms. This to me is very uneasy and just inky dinky.

Main goal is for quick .13 ohm 85 to 90 watts, 3.8 volts fire up and possibility of much less cool down time in case I want to chain vape. No I do not get hot spots or dry hits, but I do taste how the cotton life is, pure and hybrid with canna.

GEEKVAPE TALO X RDA REVIEWED BY BIGBOB2322

Hello and welcome back for todays review of a new RDA from Geekvape that has some very nice options for various airflow adjustments that should make every vaper happy. The name for this new RDA is as the title says Talo X, there is a reason the X is in the name and it is because the build deck resembles the letter X. The Talo X can be used as a single or dual coil but really shines in it's dual coil configuration and can also be used in squonk mode.

talo-album-05.jpg

Positive post are in gold and the silver post are your negative. This is a 4 piece RDA that consist of the build deck, outer barrel, top cap that also works as a inner half chamber barrel and the drip tip. The big feature of this RDA is airflow options from the top cap/ inner barrel that gives the user vertical or horizontal choices that can be tailored even further. Before I give my review lets get to know the Talo X from Geekvape a little bit.

FIRST IMPRESSIONS

Packaging was straight forward with the Talo X resting in a form fitted foam insert and a box containing all your supplied materials below with the user manual underneath. Geekvape includes everything you need for the Talo X RDA.

20201112_143154.jpg

The Talon X came to me clean and free of machine oil residue but as I always do with any RDA or Tank it was washed and left to dry. The Talo X broken down into it's 4 pieces with the drip tip already attached.

20201110_134040.jpg

The post screws are a bit on the small size and are flathead, I had no problem using them and they attached the coil wire very secure. The top cap uses a single o ring while the bottom deck uses 2 and all should be beefed up to a larger size because after wet with juice the top cap and barrel slip off to easily but remember folks this is not the finished product just a sample. There is a squonk hole on both sides of the deck in the middle and each coil gets a even amount when used in squonk mode as I did. In the picture below you can see the cutouts and locking tab that has hard stops, the Talo X also gives the user a little bit of wiggle room at the bottom so when your airflow selection is made the user can turn the barrel chamber just enough to center the air slots to hit the coil dead on, very nice.

20201110_134505.jpg

After cutting the supplied coils at 5ml on the cutting tool that is provided and installing them they Ωed out at 0.19. Installing the coils is easy with plenty of room and because the screws are side mounted and the coils drop straight down, there is no coil leg distortion when tightening your coil legs.

20201113_141942.jpg

20201113_142200.jpg

Wicking the Talo X is also very easy just be sure to leave space for juice to flow freely. The wells are fairly deep and hold a good amount of juice also. Because the airflow slots on the barrel are set higher up there is less of a chance of leaking.

20201113_144151.jpg

20201114_074939.jpg

There are a lot of choices for the user in the airflow department from vertical slots that can be cut off one at a time or horizontally cut in about 1/3rd of the top portion for either each slot or the entire row. There are a total of 14 airflow slots, 7 on each side.

4603.jpeg

20201113_150154.jpg

FINAL THOUGHTS

My final thoughts on the Talo X RDA are this, the airflow options make this RDA because it will appeal to every vaper who either likes a very restricted DL, restricted DL or a air lover. Flavor is very good in any airflow setting but for me having the top completely shut down gave the best flavor with a very restricted draw, to restricted for me so I close the top portion on 4 slots leaving 3 slots fully open for a flavorful vape. So many airflow option .

As I said I used the Talo X in squonk mode with the Aegis Squonk Mod and never had a overflow of juice because of the position of the airflow slots being higher up. Having the ability to center the airflow slots to hit your coil dead on center is great, the little bit of wiggle room of the barrel makes all the difference, also in every airflow setting I tried I had no whistle happen.

I have nothing bad to say about the Talo X except that the o rings need a larger size for the retail version, remember mine is a sample version and not the finished product. The only other thing is that the ultem drip tip is a bit to low profile for my taste as you could see in the review I switched out the supplied one for a higher one, besides it's getting a bit dated and time for a new one.

Other than the 2 things I mentioned above I can easily recommend the Talo X RDA because it's easy to build, wick, can be squonked, very good flavor with airflow options that should make any vaper able to find their sweet spot, and it looks good as well.

20201113_151643.jpg

I would like to thank Elliott and Geekvape for providing the Talo X for review and I hope that this review helped anyone looking to purchase the Talo X RDA. Another winner Geekvape.

THANK YOU

Despicable - Young Wisconsin vapers sue Juul

Young Wisconsin vapers sue Juul, say false advertising led them to start vaping and develop nicotine addiction, health problems

Bruce Vielmetti
Milwaukee Journal Sentinel
Nov 13, 2020

The teen and young adults from Milwaukee, Walworth County and a small city in Barron County have all joined as plaintiffs in a federal lawsuit that seeks to stop JUUL Labs and Altria, the tobacco giant that bought a $12 billion stake in JUUL two years ago, from continuing their marketing. The suit also seeks payments for various damages....

...The suit says that vaping JUUL cartridges is actually more dangerous, delivering more nicotine more quickly than smoking, as well as oil-based substances....

Wisconsin residents sue JUUL over marketing they say led to addiction

So, the putrid creatures are still trying to falsely blame nicotine vaping for lung disease caused by vaping THC with vitamin E acetate.

Noisy Cricket

It looks like this mod has been around for some time. Roadside Vapes is selling them for $19.95. Seems like this would be a good addition to the collection. I did read the warning about the hybrid connection, and will use an atomizer with a protruding pin.

One question: With double the voltage, is there any concern about the insulation in an RDA?

Sig humvee 80w

So I haven't seen a lot written about this pod mod but I found one on sale and I thought I should give it a try. I already have the drag X and multiple other voopoo products that accept the PNP pod and the coils so it was a good fit because I already have tons of coils. And this does take those coils. It also accepts the pods but the Humvee pod will not work on the drag s or X or Max.

There's a lot of similarities between this and the drags. And I do feel like they borrowed some elements or perhaps stole them however it is actually different enough that it is a different device. I've seen a lot of direct copies of the voopoo products and this really isn't one.

First off it's much heavier but it feels much more solid. And it isn't so heavy even with a battery that it's cumbersome. It's comfortable in the hand and I have small hands and it's fairly ergonomic. I think it would have been better had they not added the little resin accent I bought the red version which goes together pretty nicely but some of them were quite jarring but that is personal preference.

It seems to have more power at the same wattage then the voopoo did. And I don't know if that means that it's overpowered for the wattage or underpowered for the voopoo but I can say I actually prefer the sigelei. Also while it's external battery and therefore closer to the drag X it has draw activation like the drag s. You don't have to worry about which way you put the battery in because there is no polarity. You can plop it in there any which way and it will work.

Sigelei coils have never really impressed me I feel like they always have a weird machine oil taste even if you clean the tank. Well I can't tell any difference between these coils and the PNP coils from voopoo at all. In fact though I've only been using this a few days the coil seems to be lasting longer without losing any flavor. It also has bypass which I don't know how useful that's going to be but if you like bypass it has it. It also has wattage mode where you can adjust the wattage and it's not like smart wattage but of course also has smart wattage.

Overall I am just incredibly impressed with this and while I still think the drag x has a nicer appearance to it I think that the functionality thus far of the sigelei is better. It also has a much more rugged appearance to it it does look like it's trying to be a waterproof mod but it definitely is not a waterproof mod.

If you have a bunch of PNP coils and you're looking for a new device but you don't want to have to invest in alternative coils I think that this is a good option especially if you already have the drag acts and he want something similar but different. I paid for this myself no one asked me to do a review I just know that I didn't see any reviews about it so I decided to do one albeit not very professional.

Bought some coffin nails

Driven by an almost irresistible force, I got a pack of camel non-filters after a year of vaping just to remember the taste. I couldn't believe how NASTY it was. Tasted like a pile of burning newspaper (NY times like). They were a little stale, but still NASTY. Now I know. Back to Squonking on the flavors I can't buy anymore thanks to the FDA. My fingers still stank after multiple scrubbings to boot. (insert steaming pile emoticon here):|

Armageddon Time! For Admirers of Armageddon Mfg/Immortal Modz/Other Madness

Armageddon/Immortal Modz has been running some great deals this year. I bought a couple of things. How about you? Show us your Armageddon and Immortal Modz, and other manufacturers of vaping badazzidnis--Kennedy Vapor, Vaper's Cloud, Purge, etc...

It's Armageddon Time!

One of several Redemptions that I bought. Once I tried one, I had to have a backup. And a backup to the backup. Plus another. I love 'em--they're easy to build to the mellow, cool, big and puffy output that I love. It's sitting on a Kennedy Vindicator 21.

I rarely ever buy kits, but this one with an Armageddon Oden mod and Apocalypse RDA is well made, well matched, and a real great vape.

Anybody else?

Zeus Mesh Coils Not Detected By Aegis Max

Hi All- I’ve been vaping for the better part of 10 years, sub ohm since it became an option. I recently purchased a Geek Vape Aegis Max kit with the Zeus tank. I’m using genuine ZO.4 coils properly installed per Geek Vape’s videos, instructions etc. I like the combo but I’m having sporadic issues with the mod “losing” the coil. I get a “coil not detected” message on the screen and it won’t recognize the coil until I fiddle with the tank, unscrew base, reinstall coil, sometimes just slightly tightening the base of tank will cause it to recognize the coil. This has occurred on 3 separate coils. I also have trouble getting the mod to “see” the coil when installing new coils. Lots of fiddling with it. If I remove the tank from the mod and put on a coil resistance meter it will always recognize the coil and ohm out at .4 ohms give or take. Today the mod lost the coil at least 10 times while I was at work. Very annoying. I’ll also mention that the mod has no trouble with other tanks. My Aspire Cleito is fine. This is the first tank I’ve used that doesn’t have a base that screws into the coils and I’m assuming this may have something to do with my issues.
Anybody have any experience or insight to offer?
Thanks in advance!
