Hmmmm, sez I. Let's do some troubleshooting and see what's up with that. First, I added it to the "bypass" list in AdGuard. Nope. No joy. Disabled Malwarebytes. Still no joy. Disabled the VPN. DING DING DING. We have a winner!

Immediately fire off an email stating I shouldn't have to disable security protocols on my device in order to use their app. Imagine my surprise when I received this in reply:

Security reasons my hind end. They're collecting data for marketing purposes and couching it under the guise of "security". That's absolute horse dung. What a shame. Hello, Can anybody help asses if these 3 samples of Samsung SDI 18650 35E cells are the real thing, i suppose the first one is [the oldest one form a coouple of years ago], but recently 2 more samples from different suppliers were aquired, tested for capacity and mR on a simple tester the oldest one ~3200mah and 20-40IR [basic pulse tester, probably not precise][been cycled maybe 20 times through those years] and the other two score about ~2700-2900mah and 20-40IR, times of discharge and charge are similar and no thermal camera to check the temps, they were charged/discharged @ 1A
i could only decode the oldest one and the new ones coding seems far away from what the internet describes as legit samsung sdi batch code,
