Hello.

Hope you all are having a great day so far!

I noticed a couple of pages back that someone quoted the price they had heard from a dealer and I recall it was off by +$10. I wanted to clarify so you all have the correct pricing.

The P3 will retail at $249.95 for the silver and colors will be +$20.00

We also have something new to announce

* New Feature!

The P3 has the capability to have its internal firmware upgraded via an external programmer that we will be offering for sale to participating authorized resellers. This significant NEW capability will allow future planned updates and features to be added over the life of the P3. All P3 units have the capacity to be updated. Existing P3 beta units can also be updated.

We don't yet have a timeline for when the programmers will be going out to resellers, the cost of each update, or which resellers will opt to have the programmers. In the near future we will establish a list of places where you can either send your P3 in for updates, or walk-in for updates. Of course ProVape will also still do updates if you want to send it to us, but this new feature allows you to get updates without having to send the device to us. This will also benefit those in other countries where shipping the unit back to ProVape is more than $5.

How exciting! Only one thing I'm waiting for........

The release of the product!

The latest is, we suggest you contact your local dealer and get on the list as they will start to have units within a couple of weeks. If they don't offer the P3 or don't have a list, then give them a nudge :)

We will keep you updated as for when we cross over from dealer only to website release.

Are you talking about this one - Provari P3?

Thanks I have it bookmarked. I'm glad to hear the extension caps come with it. That's $17.00 less IMO. Now to buy from a dealer or wait to buy at Provape. Save another $20.00 on sales tax. My it's almost free now.

In the future, could we see an upgrade that would add temperature control to the P3? As this is a recent innovation. I'm sure the powerful P3 board could take such an upgrade, preferably using a different wire than Nickel.

So ProVape out to be about ready to take my money. I am willing to go on a list - not asking for the date, we know the price, so allow us to pre-order please?

I've been number 1 on my local Vape Shop's P3 list since the P3 Beta was released. I'll have to check with my Vape Shop to see if they're going to sell it to me for the same price Provape just announced.

My vape store just told me they are only selling the P3 as a kit. Just what I need more batteries and another charger. I'll wait till Provape starts selling them.

I have a good enough relationship and have spent enough money with my local vape shop that I'm pretty confident they won't try to do that to me.

Doubtful, as that would require the inclusion of a temperature sensor. Can't add hardware via software and all.

Not really, It would just be a mathematical calculation of power applied to a known resistance i.e. Nickel Coils

I'm headed to Phoenix for the winter next week. Does anyone have a recommendation for a good prover dealer in the phoenix area? We are staying in Surprise which is on the northwest side of Phoenix. Currently we are in San Diego and there are 3 good Provari dealers I know of, but looks like I need to find a good dealer in Phoenix.

ProVape Store Locator

There appears to be 2 retailers in the Phoenix/Mesa area.

Yay for including the beta in that as well

Well, here's a couple thoughts on that.

First ProVape is a very reputable company. I would have expected them to upgrade the beta firmware regardless. Not only is it a potential safety issue (and we all know how big ProVape are on safety), but also reputation. They don't want any products out there that have bugs that aren't fixed for people to demonstrate to their friends. It's not good PR.

Second, the betas were not provided free of charge - they'd have a legal ground to stand on with those of us acquiring betas if the were. Since they were paid for by the shops, at least those shops who purchased the betas would be able to send them in for upgrades. Worst case, those of us with betas would have to return them to the shop we purchased them from, and in turn they would have had to send them in to ProVape. I worked out that very deal before buying mine. It's good to know there's a much easier way than ever expected. That's ProVape - exceeding expectations, even this late in the release process.

So for us beta testers.... what are the changes to the final release? Many of us requested feature changes and tweeks and since we are mere weeks away from release how about letting us know what changes have occurred? I'm still all in regardless of any or no changes, but since it must be finalized by now give us something new to talk about! Come on Provape... throw us a bone, we want a little something to chew on while we wait for the release.
