I have never tried it but I have tried wax on mods before looks great but unless the customer could apply more it faded .
How does it hold up ?

This is my first woodvil so I'll let you know. I am a woodworker myself... cabinets and furniture and turn bowls and things like that. It works great on those.

ETA.. like you said though... if you don't reapply it fades. I imagine you would have to reapply monthly with something that gets handled frequently.

Yeah it should work great for you because when it wares off you have the skills to apply more .

I really dug seeing the 3D view, they look so comfortable!

Some oils will turn ebony to mud .The secret to keeping the detail is to take a small dab of poly and rub it into the wood and let it dry before you oil it .

Ah, thanks. My incoming Woodvil has an Ebony door. So please help me out of my ignorance (anyone) - what is "poly"?

Both of mine arrived there yesterday evening as well... no update since.
I think it'll be ok.

That's what mine is showing, too. I just have faith that someone forgot to scan and sent it on. I'm sure mine's on the road to Austin, last stop before Out For Delivery!. Tracking shows mine is estimated for Friday delivery, but many times, it ends up being a day early. One can only hope!
