Let's see... I used to call BBSs on a 300 baud modem, and thought it was super cool when they could auto-dial.... I remember the popular Baud rates... 300,1200,2400,9600, 14.4, 28.8, 32.6, 56K. We used to run a BBS on the Commodore 64 using three 720K disks and two 5 1/4 drives. Remember the notching of the disks so you can use the other side. The post about the AOL, I remember that tone.. and scary enough, I know what all those sounds mean. Never had an AOL Account, and seriously considered getting ISDN for the home, but they charged for the data. I remember being cool using the work's T1 lines to download MP3's.
