Flat wire resistance

feel like I want to try some flat wire, but I know nothing about it. I like to vape at 0.8 ohms and above 13-20w, is it suitable. I just like my kanthal, not ss etc

You can use Steam Engine to calculate the resistance of the coils. Personally, I didn't care for flat wire by itself. It does work great combined with round wire to make really flavorful coils though. Tiger wire is a personal favorite, but can be a little tricky to make. My best attempts to far were with 28ga round and .5mm flat. It twists a little easier than 24ga and .8mm.
