Another beautiful day down here in 'Bama. It was nearly 90 degrees! Hope everybody had some beautiful weather or it cleared up. Going for some Mexican food tonight. 'Taco Tuesday' and all of that. (now if the weather can just hold up)

Hi, Fran. Started rainy, but had a few bursts of sun. We still can use the rain. Most everything is green, and at dusk, the peepers are blasting loud.

And after 3 weeks, finally got a real tv, 40" LED. Set it up just in time for the finale of DWTS the Indy 500!!!

Nice Dave!!!! Love being at the Indy 500 in person but.....watching it on a big screen in a comfy seat, no crowds and being able to pause/rewind is the best! It's blacked out here but not in Michigan!

Like a pro Football game. Being there or watching at home is such a different thing, it's almost a different sport.
Love the tailgate, great food (sometimes), lots to drink and "partake", and hanging with a bunch of guys that don't interrupt with "honeydo requests". But it is expensive.

I do need to get to an Indy 500. You don't get the power, speed and sound unless you are there. And I totally enjoy sitting back, sipping cold ones that aren't $8.50 a glass and seeing the replays, incar, and the other info.

I'll guess DWTS is amazing in person, too...

Like a pro Football game. Being there or watching at home is such a different thing, it's almost a different sport.

It truly is electrifying to be there in person. The cars zooming by is just incredible and watching them in the turns and the pits is awesome. The traffic, parking, crowds and if it happens, crappy weather, is NOT fun. Main reason why the hubs just doesn't want to deal with it. We usually try and get a police escort in and enough people for a van or bus but getting out is a ZOO.

Or like one year at the Formula one race where they went on "strike" like after the warm up laps and most of the cars pitted and left the race....THAT was a lot of fun. We had friends that flew in from AZ for that race. Needless to say, they were beyond mad.

Usually it's darker during the rebroadcast, but now it'll be full daylight. Tough for psyc and Scape to peek into the winder to watch...

(luckily they found the house key under the potted plant on the stoop...)

omg! it's 85% humidity, 85 degrees, and for some strange reason i walked 9 blocks to lunsh for Cooper's


why did i haf teh second helping of mac n cheeze?!? i mean i know why i had the 3rd and 4th helping, but why teh 2nd?!?

i walked back in teh office, people were askin me if it was raining cuz i was drenched in sweat. like staring at AngiBe's bikini pic for 10 whole minutes amount of sweat. it's so thick and humid, like breathing while being choked by silk bed sheets...Diva knows what imma talkin aboot.
