Lol Coco! Yeah, or triple creme Brie, or aged Gouda, or Chevre, or epoisses, or..
Or Caciocavallo Podolico (spelling might be off on that one) from Italy or Britian's Old Ford Goat's milk Cheddar! Amazing stuff. Sigh.Pricey heavenly cheeses!

My vegetable drawer contains insulin and e-liquid.

@JGD - one more tip. A few family members have had polyps so I've been tested 3 times. The most recent prep, with strong pills and any clear liquid, was a LOT better than drinking the gallon of glop. Either way, you can have clear liquids, so have some in the house. You are going to get dehydrated during this.

Include a can of clear broth or consommé. The first time I got so chilled to the bone that I ended up dashing to the supermarket at the corner during a safe time. I didn't want any during the second prep but I was glad to have it during the most recent one.

ETA: And the anticipation of the prep is worse than the actual process. It's not wonderful. I certainly wouldn't go through it if I didn't have to. But it's not such a big deal, either.

Well I am back here had quit smoking for 6 months fell off the Vape Wagon and back to give it another go.

Dug out my Vape stuff cleaned it up and getting it ready. A big part of my issue was finding e-liquid that I liked and have read a lot about Ahlusion so I thought I would give it a try. I do have kinda gripe is they do due a poor job of describing there E-juice it makes deciding what to get a little frustrating.

Congrats on getting back on the wagon! Ahl is great stuff. Folks here vape it by the liter; if a juice looks interesting to you, someone will be able to provide a detailed description. Promise! :)

You all did great on recommending Strawberry Shortcake so now I need your opinion on Crisp Melon. Like, dislike, subtle flavor or not, anything else you want to say about it? Thanks.

I like Crisp Melon very much! And in fact, I might just throw together a tank right now. The chemo is making everything I eat or drink give me heartburn...even ginger ale. And my flavors in my juice are overwhelming....pretty ironic. Crisp Melon just might work; it has a great balance of sweet and lime.

AND, now I'm going to bore you to tears. I've been collecting, storing, and drinking fine wines for over 30 years. The parallels between wine, and juice, are many. (phenolics, flavonoids, etc.) A lot of things are simultaneously going on in those bottles. In the case of wine AND nicotine and the flavorings in Ejuice, oxygen destroys it. You absolutely want to prevent exposure to it as much as possible, to get the BEST results. Same goes for heat, and for sunlight (UV).

You WILL simulate aging with the heat bath, and exposing it to air frequently, but, MOSTLY the NEGATIVE aspects of aging. In a bottle of wine, it is simultaneously improving, and dying, with time. The cooler it is, and the less light and oxygen it is exposed to, the SLOWER the DECAYING part of the process occurs, while the harmonizing and melding of the phenolics, are still occuring.

So, if my experience is worth a dime, you will get SOME of the same results out of the LVC with what you are doing, but it isn't going to be what you will REALLY get from letting it mature gracefully, slowly.

My advice, especially since you seem to have a VERY discerning palate, is to order more, now. I'd crack one open, close it, and put it in a cupboard that doesn't get TOO warm. Should be great when your current inventory is gone. I'd put a few somewhere COOL, like a basement, and I'd put a few somewhere cold, like the back of your fridge, near the top where it isn't the coldest. When you take the one from the cupboard, move one from the basement to the cupboard, and one from the fridge to the basement, and replace the one from the fridge. Keep doing that, and in 6 months, you will be in eternal heaven ever after. :) hahaha...

Edit: Oh yeah, and a friend who is a MASTER Diy'er, observed the same thing. BAKERY flavors (which LVC is one of) don't suffer as badly as delicate fruit flavors ( like dragonfruit, or passion fruit) without bakery. But he attempted to speed steep a delicate fruit batch, and it absolutely destroyed the flavor. So, second data point.. The cake flavor will hide much of the damage to the more delicate fruit flavors, but with your palate, you might find it.. less than optimal.

Great write up - thanks for doing this. Saving for future reference.

Although Ahlusion does do some desert liquids well, what sets them apart from most manufacturers is their fruits. In 6 years I had never found a citrus vape I liked. Now I have 3 -- Lemon Vanilla Cake, Lime Cream and Sublime Breeze. Those are also the only citrus flavors I've tasted from Ahlusion. I'm a relative newcomer to their juice and my favorite flavors are so good I have a hard time making room in my rotation to try any of the others I have ordered but not tried.

yeah, I can't get out of Whole Wallet Foods without a very pricey stop at the cheese section, and a couple loaves of crusty French. :)

I wish I had a Whole Paycheck store in my area! The local coops are as good as it gets around here. That store is like a drug for me. The bakery!? I'm done for! Ugh. Now I'm having Whole Foods day dreams. Rural WI....boo!

I like the Lime Cream, but I wanted it to be a little creamier. I've been putting a little SDV Daft Spunk in with it, and it's heavenly! It basically makes it into the key lime pie I always wanted.

Good to know as I have both of them - thanks. The next time you order from SDV you may want to ask for a sample of the Skeleton Key. I had a sample from my last order and liked it.

Thank you!!!! I'll keep all that in mind! I'm just glad I can avoid that prep fluid! I couldn't hold it down... not one drop. It was a very long night of non stop naseau! It was so awful, I just wimped out after that. My dad has had pre cancerous polyps removed many times. I lost my grandpa to colon cancer and now my aunt on my mom's side just had a large portion of her intestines removed due to a huge cancerous polyp. I know once I get through it a huge burden will be lifted! I'm probably fine. I'm a health nut, very active.. just hoping those things work in my favor!
