I'm using the imren 50a 2600mah 18650 cells ( the leopard print wrap ) in my dripbox 160 vamping at 85w with a .4 ohm coil. Are these batteries any good if not which ones should I use?
Those batteries are not any good. On a regulated mod the coil resistance is unimportant.
Imren Leopard 50A 2600mAh 18650 Bench Test Results...just a 20A rewrap "This Imren is a rewrap with a ridiculously exaggerated current rating. It is identical in performance and appearance to the 20A 2600mAh Sony VTC5. At 27A continuous this cell gets hot enough to boil water. At its 50A rating down to 3.2V it only delivers about 15mAh (fifteen). I am giving this cell a 20A 2600mAh rating but Imren can change what cell they use at any time without telling us."
I've taken to throwing up the latest Mooch recommendation chart for these questions.
Honestly, it's not worth the risk to cheap out on batteries. Besides, you can find the authentics from vendors like IMR and Illum for ~$5 each (at least for my usual workhorse Samsung 25Rs, 20A, 2500 mAh, no grief).
Learn what a rewrap cell is. If you are using rebranded cell, does that mean it is inferior, poor quality, or even dangerous? Which batteries are suspected to be rebranded batteries.
