can anyone else advise if i use this as a regular vape tank will it eat through juices alot?
Just to note that if you are looking for rich flavor, that will mean that juice consumption will increase drastically as to be able to generate a rich flavor, more juice is required to be vaporized at a single point of time. To achieve the efficiency, you will need more surface. Therefore, coil count (dual/quad/etc), coil wraps and/or coil builds (claptons/twisted/braided/etc) is capable of producing more flavor due to increase amount of surface.

Back to the topic, you can build a single coil on the aromamizer with the 2-post deck which works decently and will help conserve liquid. However, you won't get as much flavor as the dual builds.

If your priority is juice consumption, it would be best to consider mouth to lung tanks like the kayfun or triton. The tanks will conserve juice and provide you with decent/good flavor (less cloud) compared to sub ohm tanks and rta with huge air flows.

I hope I'm making sense. .lol

Ordered my Aromamizer RDTA full kit today. Looking forward to trying something new after a year of using the kayfun v4. What gauge and diameter builds would you all suggest?
Guage would depends on your coil type and desired resistance. I would suggest to try 2.5mm diameter. :)

yes u do sorry im quite new to vaping...

well im trying to look for something inbetween as i was using the tfv4 and it was eating juice like an audi v8 engine, spitting very often ( even after tryingf multiple wicking and coiling methods )

so i was hoping that this rdta would be something i want lesser consumption than a tfv4 rba and flavor being there. and using it as a regular daily tank... as its really really hard for me to access to ejuices from where i am

Yes, I'm not sure this is the right atty for conserving juice. My most conservative is the Erlkonigin. But, I can name at least one single coil tootle tank that's a juice pig, the Taifun GS2. That little snot goes through juice like I have a never ending supply, lol!

I'm about to start diy. In the meantime I'm using less expensive juice in the Aromamizers like ITC and Mech Sauce. MS needs some major steeping time though. When I tried them after a week I thought 9 of 10 I got were horrifying. Some are coming around now though, and are actually pretty good, so I need to revisit the others.

If I didn't make my own juice I wouldn't be able to afford to vape lol

So I've been using a squape exclusively for about a year now always single coil. Love the flavor but it's heavy on juice consumption which is related as mentioned by m00shie above.
Talk about juice consumption, I'll vape 10-15ml/day in it!

Got the aromamizer 5ml with the new 2 post deck. Bummed to see its still pretty much optimized for dual coils since I am personally more of a single coil kind of guy. Wrapped up a couple coils & found the vape to be mediocre. Way airy even with the 2 hole rubber and slimming the intakes. I realize it was probably subtle things I could've done differently with my build or wick (I used bacon), but I ended up putting it on my bedside table and continued to use my tried and true squape. A couple days later, 5ml of juice all over a wooden tabletop from the aromamizer. I know I probably didn't give it the chance it deserves, but I'm through with this thing.

If anyone's interested, PM me. I have both 2 & 3 post deck set ups and 2 & 4 hole rubbers in black and if you're in the U.S., you'll get it much faster than from steamcrave. Used it for 5 mins tops.

My ideal atty is an RTA with 5ml capacity, phenomenal flavor, easy to set up with a single coil and as low a profile as possible and I can't have leaking. I need to be able to stick it in my pocket wherever I am without risking leaks. I suppose if I really wanted to I could experiment with variations of wicking it so it won't leak as much when laying on its side or in my pocket, and devote time, trial & error (& juice stains in the process), but honestly, I don't have the patience, lol.
For now, I'll stick with what works for me my squape. My next experiment will be with an Aqua FX which is being sent to me.

I've been using 28 guage kanthal and nicrome, 3.5mm I.D. wicked with koh gen doh, 5/6 wraps for about 1.0/1.08 ohm single coil builds in my kayfun v4. In my 454 big block I've been using quad 26 guage 1.0 ohm 2.5mm I.D. coils coming in at 0.26ish ohms. I'll be running the aromamizer on an IPV3. Hoping for some suggestions for good simple builds.

I'm thinking about doing a dual coil on the velocity deck and have seen some suggest 26 gauge, others suggest 24 gauge.

I made a few changes to correct some of what I feel are issues with this tank delivering it's best flavor. The two air holes aimed at the posts cool and dilute the vapor 100% Flavor is richer and vape is denser with the post holes blocked. Vape bands and tape is ugly and vape bands move easily. I thread tapped the two holes aimed at the posts with a 6x32 bottom tap. Only tap 3 1/2 turns deep so a 6x32x1/8" stainless set screw has a shoulder to tighten against. I also like lots of airflow so i drilled the two remaining holes out to 3.5mm. this increases air flow area by approx 40% A person could tap all holes to be able to block 3 of them for a single coil too.

Having a little problem wicking. I'm running dual claptons at 0.3 ohm's. Is this to hot of a build with this tank? Getting burnt hits. Maybe I'm using too much cotton?

If your coil touches the chamber wall it can really give a hot burnt hit. speaking from first hand experience herecheck your resistance before and after installing chamber to make sure nothing gets partially shorted.

I received the Aromamizer today from ebay. Took 2 days. I'm just ...... from ordering from China right now. Still waiting on Turtletech since Sept 2nd. The Aromamizer is a nice tank. If works well in this tropical heat where I live. My REO days are over. I'll find out tomorrow.

No apologies required. I'm sorry if I sounded harsh...i do not meant it. Just providing insight on why some tanks are consuming more juice. :)

The aromamizer is much more customizable than tfv4. The juice consumption will depends on your build but it does consume more juice than tanks like the erlk, typhoon or kayfun due to its design.

Sorry to hear that liquid is hard to obtain where you are located. In my location, juices are easily obtainable but can be pretty expensive. I have moved to DIY due to my vaping consumption...lol

You can try starting with standard dual parallel coils using 26g 8-wrap or 28g 5-wrap at 2.5mm which should give you 0.5 ohms.

Personally, for new tanks, I'll start with standard and simple build to set a benchmark on the performance of the tank. Once I found the sweet spot for the standard build, I then will move on to different type of builds or coil diameter.

If you are not planning to go sub ohm, try using the same basic build you did on your bigblock the first time (hopefully it's a dual coil) to get a comparison on the performance. From there, you'll be able to move on to more complex builds.

You can also join the aromamizer fan club in FB as it has tons of good info on different type of builds. :)

Since I received my Aromamizer on Monday I have been using and enjoying the experience. It is quite different than a standard sub ohm tank and more like a dripper experience as most of you have already stated many times.

My first build on this with on the dual post Velosity style RBA section (the 3 post was not included), with dual 2mm 24ga Ti tightly twisted with 30ga Kanthal A1 horizontal coils. I did about 7 spaced wraps giving me around .114 ohms on my SXM, and set it for TC at 450F using 32J to keep it there. I found the 4 hole silicone ring to be a bit too much airflow so I have been using the 2 hole silicone ring instead, using the 2 holes that line up perfectly with the center of the coils and not the 2 that line up with the 2 posts.

I find the workmanship and threading to be stellar and the ease of filling to be very good. I use about 80VG/20PG DIY juice, and for wicking I am on a Pima cotton kick and it is working perfectly with this build. Not once have I experienced a dry hit. This is one deck that is a pleasure to wick unlike some other atty's that require a meticulous skill level and is very time consuming to achieve great performance.

The dual post Velicity style deck is also fairly easy to coil with some room to move around, but I gave up on my first set of coils which were twisted 2.5mm which adds additional volume which I could have made work, but chose instead to just tighten them up to 2mm instead. I am sure a 2.5mm single wire would work just fine, but the twisted 24ga Ti with 30ga Kanthal A1 just took up too much room. I would love to have done 3mm diameter coils but that wasn't going to happen with this twisted wire as it would short the chimney. Maybe with future builds I will try vertical instead of horizontal coils as I have read some of you have had great success, but for my initial build and desire to get this atty cranking, the horizontal was in the comfort zone.

Well the vapor production is excellent and the flavor is equally so. Just enjoying the ability to get dripper performance without having to drip. No condensation either at the base of the atty. The only thing I am noticing at times is that the drip tip can get hot when vaping hard. For those of you counting the juice requirements, I am going through 3-4 tanks a day on this atty.
DIY juice making is the only way to afford it. :toast:
