Couldn't agree more, the wait is almost over for my first pinch ;)

And I got on the list a couple of weeks ago for my first pinch! Or maybe a Giggity-Nutpunch (haven't/can't decide)

I'm starting to see a pattern round these parts

It's a gorgeous mod!
It really is...I really like the look of the Titanium! Although not a significant difference in color it is very noticeable beside the aluminums. The added weight over the aluminums which was always a concern for me I'm finding to actually be a plus. :) Really like the feel in the hand :thumb:

How much heavier is it then the SS? Is it noticeable? I don't know the kind of CC it'll be, but I'm heavily considering getting Ti next time :headbang:

I don't have a SS. I've got 7075 and 7068 which are about the same around 3.5 iirc. The TI is about 5.5 and the SS is pushing 10. Corey did some visual aids concerning weight I believe :)

Unfortunately, I've got to let my 1st go. But I'm so excited for my 2nd!

:high fives GD:

:high fives PH:

I have a 7068 aluminum. I never will let her go. I am excited for my second family member also. This time I ordered some buttons too.

...
With a clear cap you can see the coil in relation to the air slots, you can adjust your heat some by lowering or raising it to suit your personal preference.

Oh man this cap is looking nice! As far as I know you make them on your own?

From lightest to heaviest:
Aluminum
Titanium
Stainless
Brass
Copper

Although it's noticeably heavier than aluminum, Ti is nowhere near as heavy as the last three. Brass and copper are quite close in weight, with SS just a bit lighter.

Thanks, Marcus. :)

I'ma go ohm that build, here in a few minutes, just for fun. I bet you're right on the money, though. Too dang hot!

I must confess,....I found the build I like, in almost any atty, really early on,....so I've just kin'a stuck with it. Playing around with other builds here and there, but always goin' back to what I'm used too. Which, btw,...I'm perfectly happy with,...so I'm not really sure what exactly I'm chasin', here...

Nice!!!

I did the same thing last night. Took off the Clapton coil and went back to my trusty kanthal 28g single parallel, 6 wrap,2.5mm, RxW. It was like putting on my favorite broken in jeans!:thumb:

Thanks :) They are my favorite caps :D

I did make them on my own but don't have plans for making any more :(

If you ever do man, I am 1000% in. As I've lamented many times recently, I got in the Nuppin game far too late, but would still love some of the awesome accessories I've seen :(

And (rightfully) it doesn't look like anyone wants to part with any of them.

I will continue to dream of matchy caps for my Nupps ;)

@The.Drifter maybe you can whistle-blow some informations about how you make them:
What kind of material do you use?
What kind of lathe do you use? simple or professional one?
How did you polish the surface?
Do you slap newbies asking silly questions?

I'm pretty confident that The.Drifter has access to professional equipment. :D
