Someone got jealous and made a vertical coil in the Apollo, Q :D

FANTASTIC! And I am currently running the same build on my Calix :p 3mm Verticals.
Ps.: I've recorded the rebuilding process ~ prolly I'll upload it on YT too. Btw Bill, what's the name of the b/ground music you play on your vids? I'd like to use that :)

Hey Leo, ÿou by chance don't have a air ring with a single coil option do you?
If I understand it correctly you want to get air flow from one side. The rda edition of the Apollo has 3 sets of side air holes. You can either open both sides, or turn around the AFC until you reach the one-side air flow setup :)

International packages that reach and go through New York for USPS delivery can take up to a week to get to me in Illinois. Some of the USPS post offices are worse than others. Sometimes USPS can take longer domestically for an international package to go out for delivery than it takes for a parcel to go from Greece to the US. At least you didn't freak out. ;)

The thing is...it reached NY and left the same day but took 6 days to get to me. Unbelievable. :grr:

^^ I guess we are lucky here, this side of the border :) ELTA packages reach me within 5-6 days of shipment notification! Sometimes they get stuck at Canada Customs for a day or two ~ but mostly arrive at my door the very next day of hitting our soil.

Ps.: USPS packages to us take about the same timeframe ;)

^ What Bill said. Also you might be having a li'l too feeble piece of cotton inside your coil. Try beefing it a tiny bit more - that'd take away over saturation and excessive unatomized juices left behind too.

With cotton many tend to take the adage, "less is more", a bit too seriously. You must have enough cotton inside your coil to feel that li'l bit of resistance. It shouldn't be free moving - but remain restrictive moving - when you wick it.

My calix is leaking slowly from 510 connecter afc. I clean my mech mods connecter every hour. So i cant use vw mods. How can i stop leaking?

Could be a damaged O-ring on the bottom of the cup...? Or damaged red silicone O-ring up top? Either way, something is causing your tank to not hold a vacuum...and juice is leaking.

Thanks. I will try to wick more.

I have my Dripper Spiral and it fits nicely in my Woodville. :) The ohms was a little too high in the build that came with it so I've switched it out with my own build with rayon. So far it's great. I want to test it for awhile and then will come back with pics and more comments.

Mr Q & Billie.

I was asked the size of the vertical coil you built in the video. I just used a 14guage blunt needle (don't know what that equals) but if you were using a coil jig what size would you use. :p
Ma'am, I used a 2.4mm screwdriver to make that vertical coil in the Sophia video. I've previously also made and used vertical coils of 2mm dia (wound on a toothpick). Both work fine and give [nearly] the same airflow.

Thankyou. I looked at the 2.4 and thought it was a bit big so I went a bit smaller. I think the needle I used was just over 2 .

I will let him know :p

I was the lucky winner of the Apollo RDA by Leo in the 15 millionth ECF post.
First let me say thank you to @SmokeyJoe for the contest and Leo for donating this RDA. I opened it and it was nothing like any RDA I'd ever built so straight to YouTube for a quick tutorial.
I watched a short video by Leo in (Greek with English Subtitles). I couldn't understand how the hollow center post that came installed wouldn't flood my 510 connection so I removed and inserted the solid post  Why oh Why??? After finding this thread on ECF I've reinstalled the original post and have found my perfect combination of bottom and side airflow.
I quickly wrapped an onboard Ni200 coil and I was vaping in no time . Wow the flavor was amazing and the ease of the top cap snapping on and off was so impressive. Time to take a step back and take a real look at my little Christmas in June surprise :D.
It truly is beautiful with the combination of polished and brushed stainless and the engravings are subtle, well engraved and very classy in appearance.
I loved that everything I needed tool wise was included with a nice little package of spares.
I've been using TC devices exclusively for the last 6 months so this is now my favorite RDA for building with Ni200. The Apollo secures the wire so well it makes holding your target resistance a breeze. No more snapped wires trying to feed soft nickle through holes or screws backing out after a day.
I've loved looking at all the different build configurations and I'm sure I'll experiment as I go but for now I'm a very happy single coil kinda girl with tons of flavor and vapor :smokie:
