Notice the contacts are wired funny... with the conductor attatched directly under/above the battery instead of on the bottom plate. I did this to eliminate voltage drop. This one is wired with 16ga to the battery and 12g from the board to the atty. The final will use 14g wire to the battery and 12g for even better conductivity. In the current state 16g/12g I have run it down to 3% before the battery icon blinked. I love these 20700s. I have not tried either version with the 4000mah version.

Man that sucks. It's always a shock when someone you interact with passes.
The word on Hank is that he passed from a heart attack in his sleep. He had been having blood pressure issues and just started with blood pressure meds. I'll miss our chats. He was a heck of a guy.

Greetings all! Never posted in this thread but saw the talk of Frank aka Hank. He was a great friend of mine, the kind of friend you'd spend hours talking to about the most random things.
He leaves behind his 2 daughters and wife, my heart goes out to them and everyone in his family and anyone that had the chance to know him. This is all so sudden, I spoke with him the day before and he was his normal self. Only to come home the next day to the news of his passing.
