If you're looking for a mini mini (14500) I don't believe there will be a LP version, but I could be wrong. As far as I'm aware the only thing that will fit on a 14500 is a hornet or an rm2 (non LP version) so I'm thinking that would answer your question. The bigger issue will be power availibility. The 14500 doesn't put out much when compared to the 18500 which is about half or less than the power the 18650 (Grand) puts out. The power issue makes all of the 22mm options of little use even if there was an 14500 LP. I believe your options are: Hornet, rm2?, Chalice? I wish I knew a little more but I'm actually so much of a junkie that even the regular mini (18500) is nearly worthless to me.
As was mentioned by others and yourself the rem, the Derringer and any other 22mm will either not fit at all or hang over the sides ALOT on the 14500 to the point it would look like a skinny guy wearing a sombrero.
My suggestion if you don't already have a grand; get one. Perhaps a 14500 with a hornet could be a back up. I realize you are looking for a 1 mod solution and that can be done but don't try to make that one mod a 14500, or you will be sorely dissapointed. There is a reason the Grand is the number 1 bottom feeder. Small, powerful, bullet proof and nearly limitless on atty choices thanks to yours truly.
If I were in your shoes I would reach out to Penguiness in regards to the 14500 as she seems to be very interested and knowledgable on what it is and what it isn't. I have never had one in my hand so I really can't be of a lot of help. You might also reach out to "Mama Tried" as I'm virtually certain he has one from years ago. Nice guy, can be a bit long winded at times but then again look at this post... 2 more paragraphs and I would have to provide a table of contents. Let me know what you come up with.

How about this: I will have mantas late today to possibly ship tomorrow I can ship the rem and the Manta tomorrow. When I order the hornets I will order you a cyclone as well. I would be able to ship the Hornet and the Cyclone together. As I had mentioned I haven't ordered the hornet yet, im trying to get a feel for how many I need as the mini mini gets closer. I don't mind getting stuck with a handful of Hornets but I'm trying to make sure I don't have to order twice. Shipping is right around $100 per order. Does that sound acceptable?

Rob has said he will be making many of them in LP this round. Even so, the 22's will be wider than the mod.
Seem illogical to me but..... Perhaps he is tiring to get rid of atomics.... Even the atomic would look huge on a 14500 not to mention the power struggle.
