I can compare against Rogues and Derringers, but never had an RM2...

Hellboy is a great suggestion for WAY more airflow, and you could always close some of it off if needed. Another huge air rda would be the Dark Horse if Chowderhead has any left, though its a bit on the tall size as well.

For airflow similar to a Derringer wide open, there's the Freakshow. It has bottom air slots. Rogue and Manta wide open are just slightly more restrictive wide open compared to wide open Derringer. There's a REMatty that spanking new (haven't gotten mine yet) but looks to combine the best features of a Rogue and Derringer.

I hope this helps a little bit! I like them all bit keep using this Derringer as my daily driver. When I'm out and about will often take the Rogue with me since it just flat won't leak.

In regards to steel girl's dilemma: remeber she is coming from the rm2 with a very tight draw, think cyclone but made out of Chinese chrome plated brass. IMO the Atomic or Manta would be more suitable.... I would like to hear Kiwi's thoughts on this. Kiwi likes a wide range of attys but he typically leans toward the tighter options. If I hadn't dumped the Mephisto that would also be on the short list.

IMO the HellBoy has way too large of a chamber for a small atty lover looking for a little more air. You are going from drinking through a coffee stirrer to a fire hose. I think, her goal might be a regular straw. Derringer fits, rem fits, manta fits, atomic fits. I love the all black Dark horse it lives on my Red Sunbox but it's just not for everyone. For the longest time I didn't sell Atomics because I looked at them as a beginners atty and still do but I added a half case of them on my last ehpro order for just such situations. At one point I had 3 of them going. They make a great transition atty.

Don't forget the omerta! It's a great versatile atty as well with good flavor albeit a bit difficult to build on. I have one in rotation. For my tastes which are much like kiwis I like the reduced chamber 22mm attys that are a bit taller like manta or omerta for my ADVs and I like the short attys like the derringer, bambino, etc for evening power vaping. The manta has replaced my atomic in rotation.

I forgot all about the Omertà, good call! I'm actually surprised that Kiwi and Hildecat haven't been hounding me for one of those.

Off topic:
Sunbox monster (26650) e7 + Marquis authentic+ dual Genny wicks + JazzyBoa= best vape I have ever had, ever. Looks like I'm keeping the last 3 Marquis authentics..... If you have Marquis BF clone or authentic you really owe it to yourself to try a pair of Genesis wicks maybe it will change your life too. With the deep well and 5mm deep juice well of the Marquis BF it's a perfect match, with no dry hits. Baller!

Since I have a pair of Marquis clones ordered, this has my interest. I'm going need to order some mesh. What size mesh are you using for this magic combo? A couple of pictures would also be greatly appreciated.

Thanks

Todd

The Hellboy is what everyone above has stated. Not for me unfortunately. Even closed it too much for me. I probably shouldn't be vaping at all because of my COPD but oh well. I'm hoping the Manta will work for me and if not I just have to keeping using my RM2 and Cyclone.......anyone need a a hardly use Hellboy?

I'm looking for A LOT more air flow. Sometime too much air can kind of mute the flavor tho, so there is that to consider. Been happy with wide open on the kanger subtanks. Derringer wide open is good. Not too much airflow imo. Somebody in another area of ecf mentioned the rogue. Said they loved it. Used to dig the Derreinger til they started using a rogue.

The Hellboy is going to be close to the airflow of the Kanger Subtank when wide open. You can close it off some, to allow for more flavor.

are we allowed to trade CH attys in this thread? Cuz if so I have a hardly used blsck fsm, and a hardly used ss baal That I'd like to trade for something (would be more than willing to do 2 for 1)

No...

But you can here:
Bottomfeeders

Edit to add: if these are authentic attys you can trade them in the ECF classifieds as well.

Hmmmmm, Steelgirl + Hellboy lol... Nice sound to it. But I think it's a bit too "tough guy" for this chick. I'd like to try the Rogue. Will you sell me one CH ? Someone has also offered to sell me a BF CLT V1, which looks pretty nice.
The Manta is a heck of an atty for more restrictive airflow. For airy draw go with the Rogue.
Both are leak free. Can't go wrong with neither.

Hi CH. Sorry man it seems all my atty are giving up in the same period :(. My reactor's pin spin today. It's a first batch reactor. Is it safe to take pliers to the center post and rotate it back? Thanks. (Tried to PM you didn't work)
Bumping question. Things get buried fast around here :D.

How about the Vertex or FSMini? Those two can be dialed down for flavor draws. Most everything that I have gets dialed down so I guess you could say that I'm for the tighter draws also. And of course the Derringer is good as well.

Just wrapped the veritas hence the chrome coils. The Marquis are the same coils that I have been using for months with cotton, dropped the mesh vape on....

Either would be good but the Vertex has been discontinued due to lack of interest.

And yes I would put you on the list with Hildecat and Kiwi
