I wouldn't. And 180A can't possibly be right. 180 amps is bigger than the electrical service on a 4-bedroom house.

I am sure he meant 0.180 amps. If it is outputting 5v at 0.18 amps, that is about 1w. If it is 12 volts at 0.18 amps, it is still only 2.16 watts.

Thank guys, won't be doing that. How about a USB to a plug in jack? Or does it need to be the cord that came with the ego one?

Personally, I would use the one that came with it. They put it in the box for a reason.

If the eGo One cord has a USB plug on one end of it, you can use it in an 5V USB outlet, including a wall wart. I would definitely use the supplied cord.
