Charging my ego one

can I charge my new ego one with and old blue tooth ear piece charger? The charger say " Plantronics Switching adapter" output 5.0V -180A. When I charge with USB that came with it the red light goes out when fully charged. Want to practice battrey safety and was wondering if I could use this? Thanks for any info. As I am new to vaping.

NO!!! Amps supplied and amps required can cause melt down or worst. It's safest to use only the charger that came with your ego.

I wouldn't. And 180A can't possibly be right. 180 amps is bigger than the electrical service on a 4-bedroom house.

Thank guys, won't be doing that. How about a USB to a plug in jack? Or does it need to be the cord that came with the ego one?

I am sure he meant 0.180 amps. If it is outputting 5v at 0.18 amps, that is about 1w. If it is 12 volts at 0.18 amps, it is still only 2.16 watts.

Personally, I would use the one that came with it. They put it in the box for a reason.

If the eGo One cord has a USB plug on one end of it, you can use it in an 5V USB outlet, including a wall wart. I would definitely use the supplied cord.
