thank you i appreciate that. well, i could not even really sit in the big truck that long. so as luck has it there was a local guy that could repair it. had it working in 20 minutes. that was lucky. i find it funny though that all my hanas fail but the chinese ones hardly ever do. things have really changed in the world. i am especially unhappy about the under spec'd battery harness. that could be a safety hazard? you would be surprised even in a tiny town including surrounding towns how many people vape and how many of them have technical know how. lucky for that at least.

on a more "dna 200 topic"........ if you're a dude or dudette that wished the dna 200 handled SS temp control a little smoother, there's a new firmware (beta i guess) inside of the new escribe for the dna 75/200. it makes any kind of SS TC super smooth when watching the graph in device monitor. no more jagged peaks and dips. also a noticeable difference when vaping. i found it on evolvvapor.com for the dna 75. but i just checked and it has been removed with a "coming soon":(

maybe it wasn't supposed to come out yet....?? somebody prove me wrong and find that darn escribe 75/200 software. it's a great update. it'll have firmware 2016-04-25 in it if you found the right one. that's the one i'm running now.

if you find post a link so other people can get it.

I was using the 4/25 software for a bit last night and had some "other" problems going on that I thought were from the software, maybe some were and some not.
Here's a couple of screen shots of what got my attention:
13133189_1206118332745722_6663529211473605516_n.jpg

13177597_1206118806079008_8427858484149921585_n.jpg

The other problem was with my Sh*%#hulu, I couldn't for the life of me get it to function in TP mode, instantly limited. That turned out to be bad connections within the atty.
So I decided to revert back to the previous software and in the process some how reverted my Opus back to Evolv default setting. Spent more time rebuilding the Opus' settings, fortunately I had them, just had to find them.
Final thoughts, I doubt if any of what I'm posting about had anything to do with the software but I'll wait till it's revised before using it or until my 75 arrives.
Oh, the screen shots are from the Bellus that I use most of the time. And after fixing the Cthulhu V2 it is in working order.

explain buggy. what have u noticed? i have noticed device monitor go wonky a few times (values appearing and disappearing.) but that's about it.
Not a whole lot. I did notice the Device Monitor being wonky, but also, on my mod when switching through Profiles the Materials would start changing under the Profile name, For instance Kanthal mode was Showing SS316 TCR under it. Usually its:
Kanthal
Kanthal

Then it would change to something like:
Kanthal
SS316 TCR

Although it was not going into TC mode(And the TC sensing Wire Option was not checked for Kanthal in EScribe) So it knew it wasn't a TC Mode. But the Material also changed under others as-well, not just Kanthal. So it was mainly a Display Error I guess.

Hello.
2016.05.04 my "DNA200" died. In the morning when pressing "fire" button - on the screen "LOGO" for one second. After has gone off the screen, but " mod" work (FIRE) full power. I don't pushing "fire" button but "DNA200" continued to work (FIRE) without stopping. Stop work only when unmount batteries. My "atom" (atomyzer) burned completely (it was hot and has a bad smell), mouth burns, it hurts.
I experience great stress.
I understand - EVERYTHING HAPPENS, but bomb in the hands - it's too much.
Now DNA200 - screen educate inscription "Warranty Service" error message (don't work, died).
I make recovery - don't help.
DNA200 I buy 2015.08.26 and she 2016.05.04 died.
I write ticket EVOLV, but don't have answer.
I'm angry, incredible.
REGARDS

Try to relax and not take your frustration out on the person who is trying to help at Evolv. They will take care of you.

The lesson should be any piece of Electronics could fail no matter how good, nothing ever made is perfect (not just in vaping). The difference being, some companies will make it right while others will not. Evolv will make it right.

You mentioned you unmounted the batteries. Most DNA200 mods use a 3s Lipo pack. I'm assuming you were using a DNA200 that takes 18650's. Which mod were you using? I'll add one more thing, It's the weekend here so you won't get a response until Monday at the earliest.

Cheers,
Steve

I'm not angry now, I don't believe this is. Now I don't want anything. This is a lesson for me.

Evolv is good at replying to tickets submitted. Have you checked your Spam or Junk folder to see if a reply from them could have landed there?

so not sure if this is normal. Installed the same atty on 2 different DNA200 mods, a vaporshark and a boxer 133W. The ohms came out to 0.36 on the VS and 0.37 on the boxer. Its a ss316L build.
Mod resistance my be where the answer as to why is found.
