Did you see him digging around in that pocket before it vented.
Wonder if he compressed the button?
Mike
Makes me wonder if it was a spare/loose cell and it was alongside some of the loose change he dug out of that pocket...

or a pocket full of coins, and assorted metallic objects.
Even the little cylinder pplastic carriers are easy enough to find and buy, if you dont want the square boxes for 2 batts.
Batteries - Battery Cases - RTD vapor
link above has wraps, cylinder and box cases....less than a buck USD!

Really annoys me that they NEVER mention what kind of defective device it was. You see the same thing every time some dufus drops a pistol and kills his kid. I wanna know which pistols fire when dropped and which e-cigs explode in your pocket.

I keep asking, but nobody will explain to me WHY they never report it.

Wish People would Stop Calling them E-cig Batteries.

They are simply 18650 Batteries. What they were purchased for has nothing to do with them Shorting, loose in a Pocket. <FACT> ;)
No
No
No

Call them e-cig batteries PLEASE!!!

That way after e-cigs are banned or taxed out of existence I can still buy "flashlight" batteries at regular retail prices.

We don't want to educate them enough that they can ACTUALLY ban our activities. ;)

Already a closed thread on this one. Yes, a loose battery in his pocket with other metals, wearing rayon sweat pants. Of course he is holding his PV in the picture which had nothing to do with his "hot pants".

Could be wrong but, think this one is an entirely different incident involving the same Darwinism....
