Aw, thanks Bob!
Sophie had a very restless evening, and I stayed with her until almost 4am when she'd been soundly asleep for half an hour. Back to the vet at 11am, and ours is off until Tuesday (when he has a totally full day) so we saw a really nice and competent vet instead, and she seemed happy to up the pain relief and see if she'll be OK until our 'always' vet is back ...she even checked with his wife (also a vet) and she agreed.
They still talk of amputation as an option (if further x-rays look promising re spread), but we're still not sure it's worth putting her through that for another 5-6 months of being with us ...easy to think about us loving to have her longer, but it has to be about her.
If anything, the past two days have proved that she can indeed get around on three legs!
We'll see how things go day by day.
As for post we had none today - and I'm waiting for a ransom card from RM! (Stash re-sent my order - and refuse to take payment for it despite it not being their fault).
Package left Heathrow on 22nd and only left Langley yesterday. Things seem to be a lot slower - perhaps tighter checks.
Scare tactic for today ~ "You may lose your pensions"
I wonder which group he'll choose to frighten tomorrow.
I refuse to let the idiots scare me. Whatever will be, and I'm sure we'll cope and come out the other side stronger - if only enough people have the intelligence to see it for what it is: pure pessimism and scare tactics.
