Flying To and From the US

I did a quick search and didn't find anything that really answered my questions. I am sure that it is there somewhere, but here goes anyway...

In February we are going on Vacation in the US for 2 weeks. What would be the best way to pack and carry my ecigs and supplies? In my carry on or packed luggage? We will be in transit for most of the day so I will have at least some with me. Is it better to have all pre-filled carts or would a small bottle or two of liquid be okay?

Also, I was thinking of trying some US vendors and having the packages delivered to our resort. Would Canada Customs have problems (or should I say, would I have problems with Canada Customs) with this?

I am very interested to hear of other people's experiences at airports and customs with their ecigs.

I travel to and from Vegas quite a bit and have never had a problem carrying my gear on my carry on, as long as the bottles you are carrying are 10ml or less and in a plastic bag. I have been asked at security a few times what the battery is for, and I just tell them it's for my flashlight.

As long as you don't try to bring your big honkin' mod in your carry on, you shouldn't be troubled at all.

I just got back from a trip to Vegas and took two big honking mods with 8 batteries and 10 bottles of juice. There is a traveler’s advice thread here on the ECF that you should definitely check out. http://www.e-cigarette-forum.com/forum/travel-e-cig/35138-tsa-ecig-faq.html
On this most recent trip, I took a Reomods Reo grand and Reo mini as well as a GLV supermini. Ok maybe not HONKIN' but still large enough to look like detonators ;-) The two Reos were put in a quart sized baggie with an empty bottle and no battery inside each. My batteries were in clear plastic battery carriers and were also placed in a quart sized baggie. Last but not least, I put 10 assorted 10ml-30ml bottles of e-liquid inside a third quart-sized baggie with the rest of my carry-on liquids. This is my second vacation with a similar e-cigarette payload and only on one leg of a previous trip did I even get asked about all this stuff. Coming back from Florida, I got an irate TSA checker who complained that he would have to check each battery for contraband. I told him that I was sorry to cause him grief but this was why they called it a job. One of the more senior people walked up and told him it was e-cig stuff and he needed to catch up to what was going on in the modern world. He went on to say his wife was using one and it was no harm to anyone...Yeah!! I added the GLV supermini sans battery with an attached Boge LR cartomizer to the mod baggie while it went through the scanner but immediately removed that to be able to vape at the terminal while waiting on the planes arrival. I held my hits or used the double-breath technique to hide the vapor and never had a question asked. No vapor and using Tasty Vapor’s Lemonade cough drop juice made even the weak odor smell like some kind of medical inhaler. I’m very discreet about my vaping in no smoking zones as I don’t want to be the guy who ruins it for everyone else but I also realize that if I am not overt and putting out visible vapor then they'll have to blood test me to be the wiser.
Good luck with that! Brew

I went on my honeymoon not too long ago and went through multiple airports and security check points across the US and South America and I did not get hassles once. I was carrying a Roughstack, Reo Grand, some eGos, 510s, bottles of juice etc.

I'd asked the same question before leaving on my trip and a member on the forum (can't remember who, sorry :) ) suggested taking apart everything, take out the batteries, unscrew the top cap to any mods, take off your drip tip etc. and keeping it in an easily accessible part of your bag like the front pouch (i.e. don't try to stuff it at the bottom of your bag).
