IPV4 'Set Resistance'

This has been bugging me and i am wondering if someone on here can tell me.

I recently popped one of the pre built occ coils into my subtank because i had no time before work to rebuild the other piece, it is the standard 1.2ohm build that comes in the box.

Yet when i hold the 2 buttons it tells me my set resistance is 0.05 It reads 1.25 under the voltages (on fire screen)... Which i can only assume is pretty accurate.

I am fairly sure when i did the same with the rba coil it read it correctly on the set resistance screen before updating under voltages, with the boxed coil and the one i rebuilt a few days later.

Am i being silly or is my set resistance screen being screwy?

I thought set resistance was only for temp control coils, in that case, it wouldnt know what to do with a regular coil

is only for the Temp control, if you use kanthal build then you dont need to reset it. but dont take my word for it.
