Well if you watch the video, he was saying that it was 'like a mech' in that there's no screen and no adjustments, 'just push the button', but 'regulated' only in the sense of what ohms your coils are.
In another video (I watched a few :- ) someone had the spec sheets from Kangertech, (which he posts on facebook) where the real 'max' is 75W and the real 'ohm' basement limit is 1.5Ω but in the manual it is 60W and 2.2Ω for other (legal/safety?) reasons, I'm guessing.
So it isn't "mod adjusted regulated" where you can vary voltage - which is really what you're doing when you change "wattage" - but you can change wattage with different coil builds. So it acts like a mech - one button push, but one can still 'regulate' the wattage with different ohms in coil builds.
But yeah, with what devices we have seen so far, it looks like an oxymoron :- )
How hard and how sad. I wish her strength and healing. She is close in my heart.I know that all of you here are quite fond and friendly with @fourthrok.
She wanted you all to know that she's thinking of you, and missing you all, however...
Sadly (very sadly), our sweet friend lost her husband/soulmate a few days back. To say her life is inside out and upside down would be a gross understatement. We've been in contact, and she is aware that I am letting you know. She wishes she could be posting here, but she really does not have the energy or time right now. Life decisions, and other difficult situations are all she can manage right now. In time, I'm sure she'll be back.
I'm hopeful that by letting you now know, that when she does return, she will not have to go thru it all again.
So please understand why she hasn't been posting in these parts. Let's keep her close to our hearts, as those sincere feelings will be of great value to her.
I look forward to her sweet return!

I gave up looking for a pocket beater and ordered a vtc mini right before this thing was announced. Considering I've had great luck with isticks and the size seems perfect, I imagine I'll be ordering a couple of them next month when they are available for around $30 stateside.
Eleaf iStick Pico is on the way. 75W TC, 18650, smart short form factor.
