clnire, I had your rendition in my head, but am a bit under the slow today. (not feeling super dooper)

Must edit, and thank you, dear one.
Edited my post - missed the 2nd people... ;)

And feel better Kat! From your fellow tootle puffer. [emoji4]

PS I like the new version better.. Rolls off the tongue. La la la!,

Excuse me folks, I haven't contributed to this thread, but I do scan it every couple-few days trying to keep abreast of the 'tiny' mods. Saw a number of you talking about low power & tighter draws as your vaping style. My wife is one of 'you'. After picking up a couple mini sub-tanks to try out, she gave up on hers until I did this:

Thanks Mike! I love the Subtanks, but I have to close down the airflow to almost half a hole. I'll give this a try!

Go with an Erlkonigin clone then. More airflow than a Kayfun. You can tighten it up as tight as a PT2 w/AFC. Full-sized is shorter than a PT2 w/AFC, 2mm wider and holds 6mm of liquid. Get a nano kit for a couple of bucks and it's 10mm shorter and holds 3ml. I'll make you a video for rebuilding you'd like.

You're so sweet, Alden! Thank you.

I've read so many posts on Erl wicking and watched so many videos that I could probably write a dissertation on the subject... I'm so mad at myself--I had that nano kit in my cart for so long and I blew it. Grr......

A SubTank Nano with 1.2Ω coils wouldn't be a bad choice. You wouldn't have to rebuild the coils if you didn't want to. The airflow tightens up nicely but not super-tight, like a CE4. Vapes great at 10-15W...

Does it tighten more than the mini sub? Most MTLs complain that that the draw on the mini is still too airy for them. And that the vapor gets hot. Yikes.

Those coils look really easy to both rewick and rebuild. I'm still hoping Kanger will make OCC coils for Aerotanks. They were supposed to be interchangeable, originally.
