Mexico Airports now confiscating e-cigs

I've traveled atleast 4 times that I can remember in the past few years and have taken everything from EGo's, Reo Grand, Provari to Pipes with me. They been checked, and looked at but I've never had anything confiscated at Mexico's Cancun airport.

vaping in and around the Resort, or in Playa Del Carmen has also never been an issue.

I don't want to say that it won't happen to you, because anything is possible, but just sharing my experience in the last 3 years.

I am going to Cancun 4/12 for 2 weeks. I will be carrying my TW e-pipe in my carry-on (without battery or cartridge) and 3 30 ml bottles of liquid in my checked baggage, probably in my side umbrella pocket. I hope not to get the Red Light at customs but, if I do, I guess I will find out what the story is. I have brought e gigs in before but only got the green light. I can't find the actual written law but, perhaps, pipes are not covered.

Old and Grey I think you'll be fine going to Cancun with your e-pipe. I left my APV's and batteries in my carry on and only put my quart size bag of 100ml ( all e-liquid ) in the bin to go thru security.
