The day shift just took a nine pound Boston .... off the smoker, and is letting it rest. Dinner is pulled pork, corn tortillas, mango salsa, guacamole and queso. I was planning on scotch for cocktail hour, but am thinking perhaps from scratch margaritas ... Anyone interested in popping in for dinner? :)

If I was nearby, you'd have to lock the doors and turn out all the lights to avoid having to feed me. Yes you would!!

With friends like you who needs enemies. ;)

I had the easiest set-up I could put together from my extras: ProVari mini 2.5, Nautilus w/heads, Xtar charge, 2 AW batteries and a couple of bottles of juice, including my favorite that she really likes. See? I'm a good friend. But at the last minute I recalled how often she quickly losing interest in things or isn't careful (she once broke one of my glass tanks 3 minutes after I handed it to her to try).

When I got to her house, I very briefly explaining what kind of heads she should buy, barely touching on resistance (not the meaning, just the number to buy), when she walked away to get some wine. She insisted she was listening, but later revealed she hadn't paid attention. I felt like I dodged a bullet. This was later confirmed when she left the charger at her boyfriend's house; lost one of the batteries; called to say the Vamo was broken (it was throwing a 99 code) after she decided the way to keep the Nautilus from leaking was to screw it down as hard as possible (she hadn't called to ask me what to do about that); and then lost the charger completely after breaking up with said boyfriend. I'm not an enemy, I'm a heroine. I protected an innocent ProVari from torture.

Headhunter.

Nice of you to be so generous to your friend, but me thinks this friend doesn't appreciate the generosity so much? I gave a system to a young guy in my office once who swore he wanted to quit smoking. He broke what I gave him within one day and went right back to smoking. It peeved me off TBH.

I have a spear AND shrunken heads on my desk! Yes I do!!

Perhaps success at vaping requires an initial effort. My two friends who quit smoking by vaping started without telling me. They both bought their own devices after seeing me with mine. Later they told me and then asked for input on what to buy next.

The same is true of wanting to quit smoking. One has to be resolved to stop lighting those cancer causing death sticks or one won't succeed. I wanted to as I'm sure did just about everyone on this thread. I started with Cigalikes, which didn't do it for me. But I bought it and tried. It wasn't until I moved on to Ego's that I was more successful. Then I graduated to a Zmax and it worked great for me, until it simply stopped working altogether, which led me to my first Provari. And the rest, as they say, is history!

Speaking of the Russian 91%. I'm still loving it. But I did have an issue today (good thing I had my KFL+ with me). It was leaking. Not via the center pin. Not via the air hole. It was clearly leaking via the fill hole. So, I wondered why and it dawned on me. The fill hole screw on my KFL+ has an o-ring. The fill hole screw on the Russian, did not. There wasn't anything I could do about it until I got home tonight, but I looked in the Russian Box and low and behold there were three extra teeny tiny o-rings. I put one on the fill hole screw and tightened it down nice and hard and I haven't had a leak since I got home. I did have to tighten it down hard enough to be flat on the bottom (whereas on the KFL+, even with an o-ring it's recessed, but flat is OK.

Ha! I own an original KFL (not the Plus, the original original) and it has no oring on the screw. Mine has never leaked a molecule of juice. But it did leak on enough of them that SM incorporated an oring when they transitioned to the Plus version.

Yes, many KFL originals were sold without o-rings that never leaked. But there were lot's that did. I guess the machining of screws isn't an exact science and there can be some variables on them and threads on the air fill screw opening. Since I wasn't much into shrinking heads today, I did a fair bit of research and found out there are many who found out their Russian 91% leaked via the fill hole. That's how I found out there likely was an o-ring in the bag of o-rings that would solve the problem. And it seems to have worked just fine.

Update on my update ... as many know of the drama I caused when I initially thought I would not be able to update my P3

I want to send a personal shout out to Vape360, Monster Kenny, Marissa and Kim ... you folks are beyond awesome.

ProVape went above and beyond with their customer service ... so here is what went down.

I bought a new Gun Metal 2.5 mini with shipping to Florida ... I then asked if I could send my P3 for update and have them hold the new GM 2.5 mini for shipping both back to Florida ... enter the drama  ... well, Vape360 and MK jumped right onto this thread and sent me PMs to get this happening ... so, out went the P3 from Toronto, to hopefully hook up with the new GM 2.5 mini.

Well, ... I then shipped a black mini with a loose board from Toronto and requested they please fix that and ship together with the other 2 Provaris.

So, ... I then bought a new Dragon mini to add to the confusion ... yup, not done yet ... let's see what happens if I add a new Zombie mini to the Kaos.

There's more ... I get down here and find that 2 of the used Provaris I bought and had shipped to Florida, well, they could use a trip to the ProVape Spa ... so I shipped those to ProVape from Florida on Monday

Below are the 3 brand new Provaris, the repaired loose board Provari and the updated P3 ... the 2 used Provaris are confirmed to be in the Spa

The folks at ProVape are definitely RockStars in my books :2cool:

We could make this a sticky. If anyone ever wonders why we are so happy with Provari, we can not only say they make the safest best devices in the Vape Kingdom, but the way they care about their customers is unrivaled.....ANYWHERE BY ANYONE! YES IT IS!!
